Amazing place. Absolutely beautiful. Lovely place to spend a couple of hours. We went when weather was cool not sure how it would be in the scorching sun, take water and comfy shoes as lots of walking up steps. Loos and a vending machine if needed. Great views and photo opportunities. A must if in almeria.

It was ok good weather but not happy with the food and restaurants Nothing opens till 8.30 at night. People not so friendly, Sundays a closed up day

Alcazaba is a great example of a Moorish Style fortress. One of the interesting things about it is that it has both circular and square turrets. The circular ones became preferable as cannons got better as the cannon balls would tend to bounce off. The view from the top is pretty amazing, but it can get very windy. if you have a hat make sure it is secured! It has LOTS of steps, so if you have limited mobility this is not the trip for you. It is great for getting your daily steps in though. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth a visit

A Alcazaba de Almeria tem uma história diferente e interessante das outras que conheci; nossa guia parecia ter bastante conhecimento dos fatos mas, realmente, era muita gente e, na maioria das vezes, sequer escutávamos o que ela falava. Nos pátios grandes ela esperava o grupo se reunir e passava a informação, nos espaços pequenos e no percurso ou vc ficava grudada nela para acompanhar o que estava falando ou perdia grande parte da informação. Éramos em 15 pessoas, tinha que ter, obrigatoriamente, um microfone para o guia e fones de ouvido para os turistas. O grupo era para guia em espanhol, isso não significa que sejam todos falantes natos do espanhol. Falo espanhol mas não acompanho quando a pessoa fala muito rápido, portanto acho que o guia tem que falar num compasso menos frenético, para que TODOS os turistas compreendam o que está sendo falado.

A voir si on est à Almeria, mais très décevant lorsque l'on a vu l'Alhambra la veille. Beaucoup de travaux en cours et visite limitée.

Nuestro problema fue la guía. Desde principio a fin. Cuando llegamos nosotros no sabíamos que ella era la guía y se fue. Nos pusimos en contacto con el teléfono que hay aquí y al venir nos hecho la culpa de no ir a ella y nos echo en cara que llevaba 20 mins esperando. A partir de ahí a peor

Contratamos la visita a última hora y fue un gran acierto. Nos encantó, la hora 20.00 es perfecta por el calor y las vistas que tiene al anochecer. Visita totalmente recomendable y la guía qurcnos tocó además de explicarlo muy bien la hizo muy dinámica.

Muy interesante conocer la historia y el por qué de las cosas, la vida en esos tiempos duros para las personas y las distintas etapas de los habitantes de Almería

Fantastisk flott by. Gamlebyen var magisk. Vil man shoppe kan man gjøre det i den nyere bydelen også. Stranden var flott og vannet klart og fint. Vi bodde på et strandhotell og var veldig fornøyd med beliggenhet og pris.

El guía que nos acompañó puntual, atento, agradable y con un gran nivel académico. Aprendimos muchos detalles de la historia de Almería muy interesante.

La visita fue todo un acierto. Juanma, el guía, es un amante de la historia y nos estuvo contando en dos horas de recorrido las anécdotas y detalles de esta gran fortaleza. 100% recomendable! muchísimas gracias Juanma!!!
