I had an amazing time during this caving tour!! The guide was great about accommodating to the group as well as giving individuals different options to ensure everyone was having a good time. Not only was it super cool to crawl around the caves, but along the way you also got to learn a little bit about the caves themselves which was very interesting. It is definitely a bit of a workout, so be prepared, but it is nothing too strenuous. I highly recommend this experience while in Budapest (unless you are claustrophobic)!!

It was such an awesome experience, never know what you're capable of... 3 hours of that xD you will get a good idea... we had quite a lovely little group as well so very thankful for that! special shout out to our host Solit (sorry misspelling) he was so enthusiastic with awesome humour, he made it a one of a kind tour! Had a lot of fun in the caves! Initially was worried a bit as I had never been in these type of caves before but this was completely unnecessary. Our guide Szilard made us feel relaxed and during the whole experience he checked with the group how do we feel and if we should go more complicated route or easier route. When evert we get back to Budapest, I would def do this again and even go for the extreme tour.

Wow, what a once in a lifetime experience! Our guide was so passionate about caving and the history of the caves, we got so much information and learnt so much whilst going round. Me and my partner are young, active people and the others in the group were of a similar age and ability, so we were well challenged in the caves, taking all the hardest routes. It was very physically demanding, and the spaces are incredibly tight, squeezing through one body part at a time and jumping over/across rocks. If you’re fit and don’t mind tight spaces, it literally is an experience you can’t miss. Although, our guide did say there were plenty of easier alternate routes if any of us needed to, and she monitored our ability as we went round. Some tips… it is warm down there, you don’t think it will be, but under our overalls we just had a t-shirt on and still got pretty sweaty. Also, bring some gloves. These aren’t provided and I would have benefitted for some to help with grip and stop my hands getting sore (some thin gardening gloves or agricultural ones). Overall, it was one of the best experiences of my life, I enjoyed it far more than I could ever have expected and would recommend it highly to anyone wanting to do something like this.

I had an absolutely amazing experience. Upon arriving, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Our guide gave us a briefing on what to expect and our equipment. While I felt in safe hands, I was pleasantly surprised by how adventurous our tour was. Expect to be on your hands and knees a lot. During the experience, you will take breaks while the guide gives information about the cave. This honestly worked out perfectly for me because you'll likely want to take small breaks between tricky sections. The activity itself was amazing, but I also loved how enthusiastic our guide was. I don't typically leave reviews, but this was 100% deserved!

This was an awesome experience! We went as 4 friends from college and it was so much fun. Our guide made sure to do what the group was comfortable with, and told great stories. I would recommend you be moderately fit and able to climb when needed. I would SO do it again!

Unique experience and the team was really cool!! You could feel safe and comfortable all the way, moreover if some parts were hard the guide had options to bring you from more comfortable route! You should try it

Amazing experience 10/10 we loved every second of this. It will push your limits at times and you may think there is no way you can do it but our guide was AMAZING and supported all of us every step of the way. We laughed ALOT and have stories for a life time. Just do i it you won’t regret it. WARNING: this is a physical activity and you will have to shove yourself through small holes. If you are larger or outta shape it may not be the activity for you.

Great experience! The guide was amazing and it was a lot of fun. Learnt a lot about the caves and culture from the guide who had sure everything was kept fun too. He gave other great recommendations too. You do have to be reasonable fit or you may struggle. Make sure to bring grippy footwear and be prepared to get dirty! Really worth it and would definitely do again

Amazing experience for all ages, tour guide was phenomenal and made the experience. Need some level of physical fitness, but was appropriate for someone who isn’t overly active, due to lots of breaks. Definitely worth doing! If you’re worried about feeling claustrophobic, when you’re down there you don’t really feel it, it’s very calm.

The tour guide was super nice and explained a lot about the caves and his experience of other caves around the world. the whole experience felt magical and never once did you feel unsafe under all those rocks.

Laszlow was a fantastic guide who was extremely knowledgable, funny and made sure everyone stayed safe throughout the whole caves. He carefully explained the way to get through tight spots and some drops. He also made sure we paid attention as it is super important to know exactly where to place your feet and hands.

The caving is a bit challenging for those who sit for whole day, but it is not difficult for kids. You need to use all of your muscle to crawl or climb.

Wow what an experience, not for the faint of heart. We spent 3 hours winding down in to these impressive caves underneath the city, squeezing through small holes and spaces which I won't lie was a little out my comfort zone but I do love a challenge. My partner actually got stuck in one as he didn't position his body correctly but this was his own fault as he wasn't listening to our experienced guide. After it we were buzzing for the rest of the day, proud that we had achieved such a unique experience in Budapest

It is definitely a unique experience, but, for me, I would’ve liked the tour to be a little bit more fast paced. We were 7 people in total and we would do a little bit of cave walking and then stop and the guide would explain something about the cave, but sometimes it was too much talking. I wanted to explore more. Overall, it is worth reserving half a day in Budapest for this.

The instructor/guide was phenomenal! This was one of the best trips/activities planned. The amount of history and appreciation the gentleman has for the hobby is unmatched. He is a very nice guy and gave me a whole new perspective on caving

Absolutely fantastic experience - I was a little nervous to begin with but our guide was friendly, informative and really brought humour to the situation. The group that we were with was also really nice and we looked after one another when going through the caves which is imperative for a safe and enjoyable experience. There were a couple of spaces where there was the option to do harder or easier to make it varied for the group and the guide gave us al ot of history and facts to absorb. I would definitely recommend doing this to anyone who visits Budapest! It was fab!

The tour was fun and challenging and our guide was amazing, especially with my two boys (ages 8 & 11). This was the highlight of our trip and well worth the price of admission.
