A beautiful trip ; with a guide with great knowledge and a smile on his face ; thanks mr Wild ! We actually were able to see Lions

We had a lovely day together with our guide Alan. He explained a lot, we joked around, and the BBQ was amazing. We really had the best time. Highly recommend ☺️

Great guide and owner; timely transportation to and from the hotel; wonderful enclosed land cruiser on a chilly, windy day; great lunch braai with meats, sides, and drinks; good game veiwing in an expansive national park. It was amazing to have a group of elephants walk around both sides of the land cruiser as they moved through the park. It was good day and i would do it again.

Very good experience and very knowledgeable guide. Very accomodating, eager to answer all questions. And very responsive beforehand for the preparation of the tour.

To see the giant animals play in the mud as if they were children was a thrill. To see the herd interact and be at peace was a moving experience. Our guide, Steve, did an extraordinary job in taking us close to the elephants so much so that we could almost count the eyelashes on their eyes. He also explained some of the behavioral traits of the big beasts. Steve's barbequing skills do also merit an honorable mention. Steve took the trouble to introduce us to other animals as we drove through the beautiful landscape. Thanks to all, Ulrike and Andrew

We had luck and could see a lot of animals. The park is easy for visit also with your own car. But would do this game drive again

Guides were on time, friendly and knowledgeable and went to great lengths to find the animals. Lunch was excellent! All in all a great experience.

We had an amazing experience with our guide Stephen. The full day was arranged for us, and we only had to look out for the most amazing animals. Stephen drove us to the best places, which ensured us to see have the best views. We even saw two lions very close to the car! The braai also was amazing, it was very varied and more than enough. Thanks again Stephen for this wonderful day!

Very nice safari with educated guide and good lunch (and wines) :) Although we didn't see the lions, still we saw a lot of other animals

We booked a private full day tour of Addo Elephant Park. Mustaph our driver and guide picked us up from the cruise ship dock. His knowledge of the animals and his ability to find them was outstanding. We stopped for lunch at a wonderful restaurant right in the middle of the park. The Kudu stew was amazing! It was definitely worth paying the extra for the private tour, as there appeared to be lots of people on the larger trucks that we saw. We booked direct with Addo as the cruise ship options were much more expensive.

This full day safari benefitted hugely from Steve’s familiarity with Addo. We saw numerous elephant herds, large and small. It was a hot day so they were understandably gathered around the various watering holes. There was time enough to witness their social interactions, assisted by Steve’s explanations. Cape buffalo, zebra and several species of buck dotted the landscape and were easy to observe where the thicket gave way to more open pastures. The highlight was perhaps seeing three female lions stalking through an area of long grass. The longish day was broken up by a good braii, enjoyed in a shaded area. Five stars, no problem.

What an amazing experience. We had already done a safari in Pilanesberg which was excellent so were a bit worried it would just be the same but it was very different. So cool to see large groups at the watering holes and we even saw a buffalo, elephants and a hyena all interacting together. Eddie was a great guide and we loved our braai where we got to mix with other groups, they even catered for our coeliac member of the group!

This was a truly memorable experience. Steve not only knew where to find the animals but made a fantastic lunch as well! We had an amazing experience.

We travelled as a family. Although we did not see many animals because of the day's wheather, it was an amazing tour. The sightings were beautiful and we were privilleged to see a baby and mama elephant close by our car, as well as a group of zebras. Our guide (Steven) was very comunicative, knowleagable of the wildlife and kind. The braai was very delicious and well served! We were very pleased! It is a very special tour! We recompend it highly!

I had a middle seat in the safari car, squeezed between two other people and basically had no access to any window to take good shots. Feel unnecessary to fly 14.000 km and pay sufficient sum for safari for this. Very upset. The guide was ok, the braii was good.

We had an amazing day at Addo and saw lots animals in their natural habitat.We had an amazing guide Steve who went out of his way to show us and explain things about the Park. He cooked an amazing brain which we thoroughly enjoyed. If you do only one thing whilst in SA this is a must do !! Thank you for the memories !!

We had a really good experience with Addo Game Drives. We got picked up from our accommodation although it was a bit out of Port Elizabeth. From that point our safari adventure got better and better. Our guide was very friendly and had a lot to tell about the wildlife and animals in the National Park. The BBQ was really tasty. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone who is interested in the nature and wildlife in South Africa. Thank you Addo Game Drives. We had a blast on your tour!

i have mixed feelings about this place. we had been on safari in kenya and tanzania so we were spoilt as we saw alot of animals. i know that every day is different and you may not see as many in addo elephant park or any other park. there is only one lion pride in the whole park as we found out so the chances of seeing them were pretty slim, but thats the chance you take. but we just didnt see much on the day at all. it was lovely scenery and our guide stephen was wonderful and tryed so had to find the lions or something. we had a lovely lunch but it took so long. i think they knew there wasnt much round. we would of been happier to go back early. i think it would be better if they had a safari and maybe more educational talks, just something different to other safaris as they havent got as many animals in there as other places. its a wonderful place but we did go right out of our way to go to addo's on our trip so thats why i gave it that score. i would recommend it to anyone as the scenery is lovely but i have to say we had a good day but were disappointed.

we enjoyed our day a lot! Steven was an excellent driver, guide and took time to show us the good spots and give good explanation for all the animals. We saw many elephants, an eland, a jackal and even a rhino! Very friendly guide and a great braai-master! Would highly recommend!
