This was my first trip to Abu Dhabi and the Middle East and so I wanted to experience sand dunes and the desert landscape, and this tour did not disappoint. Ashraf was our guide and he was sweet and helpful and took great care of us. I went by myself but was glad to be with a group, there were 6 of us plus our guide. It was about a 45 minute drive to the dunes from the city and I’d say definitely go in the winter because the weather was perfect. Not too cold, not too hot (I went in late Feb) and it was about 70-75 degrees F (20-21C?). The tour was a great way to check off a lot of must-dos at once—riding through the sand dunes, trying my hand at sandboarding, riding a camel, getting a henna tattoo, sitting on pillows while eating delicious barbecue and watching a live show. It was all as advertised. A great sampling. I’d definitely recommend the tour and our guide Ashraf, especially for people who haven’t experienced the desert before and/or don’t have a lot of time to explore.

Our driver Sanal was amazing. He was so attentive to our needs. We had a senior citizen and he made sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. We had an amazing time! Highly recommended.

Liwa Adventure tour and Safari were very responsive and effective with their communication and customer service from the moment I booked. We switch our pick up from the hotel to the Louver early that morning and Sanal was very accommodating. Sanal gave us a really fun experience riding in the dunes and took great photos to capture our memories. The desert was beautiful from sunset to the star gazing, photos with the camel and riding them was really cool. We snowboarding back home but sand boarding is way tougher. I’m glad we did it. In my option, one of the best view was being top point of sand boarding. It was worth the hike up. The food was delicious, staff and performers were all so wonderful. The set up in the desert was really cute and clean. I would recommend booking with them and doing the activities for your visit. Thanks Sanal for service. We appreciate you!

We have had a great time today. The best was driving in the desert “safari”. Our driver Ashraf was very polite and helpful, we enjoyed his company very much. And he took the best pictures of us in the desert! We hope to come back sometime soon.

We had a great experience in sand dunes. Best service has been provided by Liwa adventure team. Very nice food provided in safari camp. Good ambience & very very nice safari ride. I have never saw like this fire show in any other camp. Nice camp & desert safari who took as was very nice person. A big thanks to basid who took as to this very nice place.
