I'm sorry that I don't remember the guides name, but I'm assuming it was John after reading the reviews on here ( 21st April 1pm). It was a most terrific historical tour . The amount of knowledge of our guide was amazing. He had us enthralled from get go. He was happy to divert and answer all sorts of questions. I honestly didn't know a lot about Liverpool except for the Beatles, and this tour thoroughly expanded my knowledge. We only had a day but we must and will come back. Thank you so much

I thought our walking guide, John, was excellent. Even though we are relatively local we really enjoyed the walk as John is very knowledgeable and engaging. Top marks.

Such a great tour. As a newbie to Liverpool I knew nothing about the city. My family tree does trace back here but I never knew anything about the area. In two hours I learnt so much and it was so interesting. The guide, John, was very knowledgeable and answered every question I had (of which there were many). It really brought Liverpool’s history alive and I still think about some of the stuff I learned now. 10/10 definitely worth booking.

John was an excellent, energetic and knowledgeable guide, I was fascinated to learn about Liverpool's history as the original 'muddy puddle' and then going on to become responsible for 30% of world trade.

Fantastic tour of historical Liverpool. We learned so much and saw things we have never noticed before (we don’t live far away). John, our guide, was amazing. His tour was eye opening and brought old Liverpool to life. We can’t recommend it highly enough. A MUST for visitors and locals alike.

The walking tour was a great experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge very enthusiastically. My grandson was at university in Liverpool and now knows a lot more about the city he lived in for three years. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Very disappointing. We arrived at the appointed spot on time and there was no tour guide in sight. We hung around in the pouring rain for some time but no one appeared. Eventually I looked at my phone with the intention of trying to contact the tour operator. I then realised that we had received a text less than 20 minutes before the tour was due to start to say it had been cancelled. At the time the text was sent we were already on the way to to the venue. I was promised a refund but have not yet received it. Not only was the cancellation very late a phone call rather than a text would have been much better. Very poor!

John was a fantastic guide and the tour was a perfect way of understanding Liverpool's rich history.
