Frederico was great. His in depth knowledge of local cuisine and wine was very informative. I highly recommend this tour. We sampled local bites and delicious wines at wonderful little shops that we would never have found on our own.

An interesting experience made better by the interesting people on the tours. The wines were good, but none were amazing. I did enjoy the white natural wine more than I thought I would. The Cecchetti were all good.

The guide was only fair — her English was not particularly good and her knowledge of wine was lacking. The food that we sampled was not particularly good. I’ve been on many food tours and, sadly, this one was disappointing and not worth the money.

We had a lovely evening , a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Our guide was keen to impart his extensive knowledge and had a lovely laid back approach. We grilled him relentlessly with our questions and he was very patient with us and informative with his answers. We experienced places we would have overlooked which was exactly what we wanted . We also tried different foods and drinks and surprised ourselves with what we liked .

Awesome evening in Venice!! Frederico was punctual, informative, and very inclusive and entertaining. Great historian and very knowledgeable about the cuisine and wine. Great selection of food and wine. Restaurants were unique and away from the mass of tourist. An outstanding evening!!

We enjoyed the walk through a part of Venice we would have not seen. The tour guide Frederico was engaging and informative. The wines were tasty in each wine bar that we visited. The Tapas were local flavors, mostly fish. I am a picky eater and did not taste some of the dish's, but they were enjoyed by the group and my husband. Our group was fun, and from all different parts of the United States.

Anna, our guide, was sensational! She was fun, funny and very knowledgeable about the local wine, food, history, and culture. The food and wine tasting was just my husband, myself, and one other couple, which made it nice and intimate. We tasted 5 wines and had lots of food. Highly recommend!

We did the evening wine and tapas tour with Federico. He was so fun and knowledgeable becoming our own private tour guide due to some no shows. We absolutely loved it!

The tour was ok. We stopped at 3 locations - I was not a fan of the fishy apps at the first place. We had hoped for a bit more history of Venice. Wine was good, guide Fredrico was nice. It was only about 2.5 hours. History at the last place ( provided by the owner was good)

Great tour was led by Fredrika, brilliant guide, interesting and knowledgeable. We chose this tour because it was a small group and this made it perfect for getting into some of the very small venues. Superb wines and some delicious food too. Our group was super friendly which added to the tour itself. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!

In his CNN series, “Searching For Italy”, Stanley Tucci explores Italy’s regional cuisines. In the episode about Venice, he visits a number of bacari, wine bars, where he samples local wines and freshly prepared cichetti(Venetian tapas like snacks). This tour enables one to experience the same approach and it is phenomenal. Frederico was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly expert in identifying great bacari. For one evening, we ate like the locals and greatly enjoyed both wine and cichetti, especially the seafood ones. This is a must do experience in Venice and this tour does it very well.

This was such a fantastic way to experience Venice's food scene!! Silvia our guide was excellent and we had so much fun. We were very full afterwards. We tasted 5 wines, so many little food tastings, and learned so much about the food culture in Venice. I highly recommend this tour! Side note - I am gluten free and while they cannot made adjustments or say they can accommodate such things, Silvia did such a fantastic job of making sure I was completely taken care of. So while it is good to let them know about any food issues, they can't guarantee anything which I totally understand.
