A Day Tour to Cairo group price

A terrific day out overall. We felt the magic of Giza, the Nile and the most awe-inspiring exhibits of the Eqyptian Museum.
The journey from Hurghada commenced at an unearthly 3am but was reasonably comfortable in a 20-seater coach. Great early-morning views of the Gulf of Suez helped pass the time and a services stop that was surprisingly similar to what we are used to on the M4 in the UK!
We eventually arrived in Cairo about 9am, most of the people in the coach having had at least a little bit of sleep. Our guide for the day, Ahmed, boarded and gave us all the boost of energy that we needed with his enthusiasm and the obvious joy and pride that he got from his job. He mapped out the day's programme very clearly and everyone was content to go with his recommendations. As there is so much to see in Cairo, one day could never really do it full justice. However, the programme successfully provided all the things that we most wanted to see plus many extras that our guide was able to provide through his extensive knowledge and friendships with officials at the places we visited. Ahmed engaged with everyone in the group very well, displaying his range of language skills, and was particularly good at responding to the questions posed by our 10 year old son and providing him with fascinating facts and personal insight.
Our co-drivers did a great job whizzing us around Cairo under Ahmed's direction, helping to ensure that we didn't waste much time in the terribly busy city traffic.
After an enjoyable boat trip on the Nile, an excellent lunch was provided in a very pleasant restaurant with good views of the pyramids.
We whizzed around the sights at Giza under Ahmed's direction, which maximised our opportunities for great photographs of all the pyramids and the Sphinx and its temple.
We finished with the inevitable visit to a perfume shop but I think most people were too tired to take much interest,although it was quite pleasant to sit there with a cup of mint tea.
Another 6 hour drive back to Hurghada then followed, but was quite bearable and was helped by having had such an excellent and memorable day out.

This tour was amazing! We recommend this tour and this company. Is not big difference between group tour and private tour. We was 7 people and 2 guides ( Yahyah and Ahment). They had plenty patience to explain the history and make us curious more and more.
