Thoroughly enjoyed our 3-hour tour with Stuart. We revisited several places mentioned afterwards to enjoy further, crisscrossing the route. It was a group of 12 that he handled effortlessly. The history woven into the walk brought a new light to pivotal points and makes so much more sense than when we originally learned it. We are already going back and rereading history with a different eye. Highly recommend! Ask him questions and enjoy.

I had a wonderful time on the Royal Mile walking tour led by Stuart. He was entertaining and had deep knowledge on the history of Scotland. The speed of the walking tour was perfect. We visited hidden historical gems in the city on Edinburgh including major landmarks like Edinburgh Castle. I truly enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh.

We booked this tour to get a good introduction to Edinburgh, specifically the Royal Mile. Our tour guide was great, and went well beyond the Royal Mile. He provided details about key landmarks, streets, restaurants, and places to see...and LOTS of Scottish history. It was more than we expected. If you are looking for a good way to start your Scottish vacation in Edinburgh, I would highly recommend this.

Great day with Stuart learning the history of the Royal mile with recommendations of other activities and points of interest. This was a great orientation to the old town and Edinburgh.

Our guide ( who sadly wasn't the gentleman in the promo material) left me underwhelmed. He made a couple of obvious mistakes which made me question the validity of other things he told us, and seemed a bit ad hoc in where he took us. I also missed the colour and passion I have experienced on other walking tours. Our guide was pleasant but his style just wasn't for my hubby and I.

Allison was amazing, she is a profesor at St. Andrews University and she just enjoy talking about history a d at the same time make it fun. Well organized tour, will not take you inside the Castle but the information given about everything well worth it.

Great way to see the Royal Mile and get some great history at a nice leisurely pace. Would highly recommend this. Got to see a lot of things I would have otherwise missed. Our guide Allison was excellent and got us to the perfect spot to see the 1:00 gun.

Had a great experience in getting to know the great history of roysl mile, edinburgh and scotland.Throughly enjoyed the tour with Craig who is a local and provided lot of interesting anecdotes about the city. I also didnt find any problem with his accent and were abke to fully understand him. Craig also kindly provided me with good recommendations of pubs, bars, vegetarian restaurants to try in and around the royal mile. Would highly recommend the tour if you are looking to get to know the city/country better.

If you do this tour, ask for Allison. She is a well informed and engaging guide. In spite of the weather, we throughly enjoyed our three hour walk.
