Love the walk on the islands, its so close to nature. Embrace with the fragrance of lemongrass at couple of spots, get to hear the birds chirping, sound of cicadas, roosters crowing. Only upset - the sampan ride was too short to enjoy the peace and serenity of the river... should have been longer. The tour agency JSC provided a comfy and clean limo van for the ride HCM/Mekong and our guide Lao, was a sweet young chap, shared how the Mekong River amazingly benefiting the livelihood of people in Vietnam, and he took extra care to look out for us too ... as I recall - he helped me and my friend crossed the busy road in HCM .. lolo !

The tour was absolutely fantastic! Many different activities, delicious fruit, yummy coconut candy and very good lunch. Our tour guide (Foo) Phu made it way more interesting, was fun and helpful! On top of that very affordable price. Highly recommended!

Great tour, the guide has a great personality, always cracking jokes. Good variety of things including boats, canoe rides and various markets. The lunch left a little to be desired. The food was mediocre and a few people on the tour got scammed because the waiters put food on the table that you had to pay for extra. This wasn’t made clear at the beginning. Otherwise a good deal experience.

Bao was fun, talkative, friendly and an experienced tour guide. Our safety and comfort was considered and the whole journey was easy

Bao was the best tour guide - very informative and hilarious too! He needs a raise and a half! The entire tour was a good experience of the Vietnamese culture and life style.

We paid extra for a luxury tour with maximum 11 guests and there were 13 people squashed in a small mini van. Whilst the boat ride on the Mekong river and the island tour was lovely, sadly the 2 hours travel each way in the bus was anything but luxury.

The tourist guide Bao is so nice and friendly. We have a nice day and many good memories, thanks for it! It’s my first time to ho chi ming, i love the city and foods.

Our guide,Bao, was very good. He was very knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about life in the Mekong delta. We had many stops and were able to taste local produce such as lemon/honey tea, coconut sweets and an extensive lunch. The tour included a trip down a creek in a sampan, and a larger boat down the main river. There was also a visit to Vin Trang temple. It was an excellent tour; thank you, Bao.

Bike ride around the village was one of best trip that we had in Vietnam :) Worth it! Our guide Phu was very helpful and committed

Ele is a great guide. he took us out on the canals in a boat. a great day’s visit. I highly recommend it, highly récemment to allée.

Jack ("the guy from Indochine") gave us an entertaining and insightful tour of the Mekong Delta including pickup in a nice air-conditioned minibus, a lot of information about Buddhist philosophy and Vietnam's history, visits to some of the islands in the Mekong near My Tho by boat to see and sample coconut candy, honey, tropical fruit and chocolate production and a tasty lunch in the middle as well as a ride in a wooden sampan. Very enjoyable day! Jack took and edited photos for all us on the way back to town.

After almost a year of world travelling this was by far our least favourite tour so far! The guide was poor, giving little to no clear instructions and was not very organised. The tour took us two hours from HCMC to firstly a very quick visit to a nice temple complex (the first and only ‘non tourist trap’ stop on the tour). Every other stop after this consisted of glorified markets with people trying to sell, sell, sell, and little else. If it wasn’t a stop to try and sell stuff to you, someone had their hand out wanting tips. We haven’t experienced this as blatantly anywhere else on our extensive travels. Unfortunately the mix of having a poor (and sometimes quite rude) guide and a disappointing itinerary (where you don’t really get to see or experience very much of interest), this is not a tour I can recommend. Even for the relatively low price point, pick something else for a better use if your time around HCMC!

A must do if visiting Ho Chi Minh! I had a great time! Time flew by! Being on the small boat going down the river was magical. Our tour guide Phu has a great sense of humor and charisma about him.
