Brahim was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Portugal as well as the Douro Valley Wines, not to mention extremely fun and kind. This trip was the perfect balance between relaxation, meeting new people, and learning. 10/10 experience, the best part of our trip to Portugal!

Two days ago we participated in a Douro Valley tour with Brahim Mahjoub's guide. The tour is beautiful, leading to the discovery of one of the most renowned wine regions in the world, with several tastings not only of wines, but also of oils, almonds and local honeys. Brahim was a perfect guide, very knowledgeable, and also entertaining. It was a pleasure to listen to him talikng about history, geography, culture, and the beauty of what has become his new place of living. We recommend everyone to choose a tour with him! Silvia&Luca

Great scenery and commentary from Diana. Wine , port and olive oil visits were just the right length, no hanging around or hard sell. Lunch was very good, plenty to eat and included wine and coffee. Could not fault it.

The Douro Valley is spectacular - with amazing natural scenery around every bend. Our guide was helpful and friendly and we enjoyed a beautiful day of enchanting scenery and delicious wine and food.

Great experience. Wonderful views and interesting visits. Pedro, our host, was a wealth of knowledge, not just on the wines but on the whole area. He was available to ask on any subject.

What an incredible experience. Our tour guide, Joao, was amazing. Juggling several languages and explaining everything to us was amazing. He went above and beyond making our experience memorable. The wineries were excellent, the local lunch delicious and the river cruise was fantastic. Joao went above and beyond making our day the best ever. Highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Porto. It did not disappoint!

Just came back from the Douro Valley with Brahim as our guide. Brahim was knowledgeable, charming, funny and an excellent driver. We visited two wineries both of which were interesting with plenty of wine tastings. We enjoyed the boat ride and lunch. The cuisine was traditional Portuguese. The group was small and Brahim brought everyone together.

Jorge is a great guide, driver, and personal photographer. The tour and stops were perfect and met our expectations for a day trip away from the city. The end of the tour surprise was a barrel of laughs (pun intended).

The trip was wonderful. Our guide Sandro was fantastic. The vineyards were great, lunch was of a high standard and the cruise was really enjoyable. The scenery was absolutely stunning.

Brahim was excellent and very knowledgeable. Loved the small group. The views were amazing. Lots of places to take pictures. The wine and lunch very tasty. We left Porto around 8:30 am and return around 6pm. We visited 2 wineries that had port wines. The second winery had white and red wine. The boat ride was very relaxing and beautiful. Bring a sweater. It was a little bit chilly on the water.

We took a tour to the Douro Valley with 8 people and our driver Pedro. It was nice having such a small group, as well as the pick-up and drop-off service. Pedro was a great driver and host of the tour. His English was excellent and he had a great sense of humour and knew much about the wine industry, having worked in the Douro Valley himself. Our tour of two wineries began with Quinta Do Cume. This small wine operation provided an in-depth explanation of the wine growing & production. We then had a lunch which was traditional with excellent food, located in a former school. On to the boat cruise which was pleasant with lovely scenery. The second winery was Vieira de Sousa . It was a larger operation. We enjoyed the tastings of both wineries c/w olive oil and bread as well as sharing the experience with the other passengers. Thanks Pedro!

Picked up from my apartment. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Visited two vineyards & learned about the wine & port producing process. Lunch supplied at a restaurant in Pinao, lots of local dishes and in large quantities. Scenic boat tour, lovely to see the vineyards spreading out from the Duoro.

Our tour guide George was fantastic. In fact we will take a second tour with him tomorrow. He took us to the Douro Valley today which was an all day tour. I would highly recommend booking trips with George. He seemed to know everyone wherever we went

My husband & I really enjoyed this day trip tour to wine country and the river cruise. The guide Joo Garvalho was informative and entertaining at the same time during the car ride. The guides at the two wineries were great too! And the included lunch of this pkg was delicious. Fun to interact with the rest of our 8 guests in a family style lunch! Highly recommend! Faye

You expect a tour in a region as beautiful as the Douro to be great. But wow, did this exceed all expectations. This tour is amazing. Two gorgeous wineries, a boat cruise, a delicious lunch overlooking the valley, and eclectic stops along the way. Our guide, Ricardo, was absolutely fantastic. I just can’t say enough good things about this - we’re SO glad we made time for this during our brief stay in Porto.

This was a great trip, a long day and in my opinion a reasonable amount of wine drinking, two tastings and lunch are included and there's wine on the boat if you want more as well. The guide was great and provided a lot of interesting information about the wineries and the area. Tips, it takes an hour or more to get to the valley and then an hour and half to get back and even with air conditioning in the vehicle it can be a little warm on hotter days (I get car sick easily so it was a little rough for me). All the wine was delicious and lunch was pretty good as well. Absolutely stunning views once you reach the valley.
