Engaging guide. Friendly and well-spoken. Very easy to hear and understand., Good info and occasionally very very funny.

A wonderful chance to see down the narrow passages to the charming courtyards in the back. Nice pace, not too strenuous for older tourists.

Guide didn’t give you a chance to catch up. He talked too much about himself. We are older and can’t walk fast and he went on and talked before we even got to him. We found it very hard to hear what he was saying.

A very cool walk with extraordinary historical tidbits all along. Captain Jim has a good voice & excellent pacing. He brought the beautiful city of Charleston alive—everything from the window boxes and living walls to founding fathers and architecture! Loved this tour!

Mark was an excellent tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable about the long and interesting history of Charleston. He gave us a lot of information about Charleston; but, wasn’t boring or repetitive. He kept the tour lively and entertaining as well as very interesting.

Lawrence did an outstanding job leading the group through many hidden alleys, lovely private spaces in the city, regaling us with interesting stories as he explained the history of the city. The small group size added positively to the experience. I learned a lot and loved seeing a part of Charleston I might have missed on my own.

We were blown away about the rice industry in Charleston. Mark was quite sensitive to our accessibility since the three of us are deaf. We used our speaker app to read mark s knowledge in the history of Charleston. Bravo. The neighborhood and alleyways were unique and charming. We love his sense of Humor.
