Amazing full day tour with three activities and lunch, with knowledgeable and energetic guide and experienced driver! Wish we had a little more time at the waterfall as this was a highlight for us. Pura Vida!

We had a fabulous visit to this magnificent natural wonder. The hike down and up was challenging but not impossible and anyone in good health can do it. No need to rush. The steps are in great condition and there are ample opportunities to stop and rest. The rocks at the falls are slippery and caution is necessary. But so very worth a visit!

One of the best parts of our trip! Our tour guide, Angelica, was very friendly and knowledgeable. In addition to the beautiful scenery, she shared a lot of information about the history of Costa Rica, the plant and animals and what’s happening currently in Costa Rica.

Juan Carlos was the most passionate tour guide I’ve ever had! He went out of his way to show a sloth, monkeys, toucans, snakes, and so many more critters. We loved our experience with him!

This was a great experience! Will was a Terrific Guide. He was very knowledgeable and very personable with all of the travelers. We did the package that included the Hanging Bridges, the Waterfall, the Volcano Hike, and Lunch. We were picked up exactly at 7am and dropped off before 4pm. The hikes aren’t too strenuous, but there are a lot of stairs up and down to the waterfall, so I’d say that was the most physical thing of the day. We saw two types of monkeys, a wild pig, various birds, lizards, and insects, and one tiny snake. Overall it was a great tour. We had plenty of time to enjoy each experience. I’d definitely recommend it.

Must do experience!! We had a wonderful time! Wilbur was so informative and friendly and our driver was so accommodating making sure we were hydrated! Couldn’t ask for more!

We had an amazing time during this tour. Anjelica was the most wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgable about the flora and fauna of the area and she kept the group upbeat and excited at all times. We saw some spider monkeys, blue jean frogs, vipers and other cool creatures during our walk on the hanging bridges. The waterfall was extremely refreshing and the views after the volcono hike were breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour.

I can’t say enough good things about this tour! Our family of 6 (2 adults 4 kids ages 8-17) thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We were picked up at our hotel by Diego & driver, picked up one more amazing person at the meeting spot & commenced on a fabulous day. It rained almost the whole day but we absolutely loved it all! We were unprepared but there were ponchos at several places, plenty of restrooms, & opps for shopping if you like souvenirs. Diego is a natural. He was so fun to be with-very knowledgeable & funny to boot. He loves his country -it was evident all day & so contagious. We did a lot of tours on our trip & this was top of the list. You’ll love your day on this tour!

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS TOUR! The best tour we did in Costa Rica - and Diego was the nicest tour guide we've had. So knowledgeable, kind, friendly and made everyone in the group feel safe. We saw SO MANY animals we wouldn't have seen without Diego, and we learnt so much. Would 100% recommend and go back!

Angelica was amazing. How she could spot the creatures on the hikes was mind blowing. We enjoyed all of the activities. Definitely an active day. My calves felt those steps the next morning!

Juan Carlos was a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and upbeat, best day of my trip. He made sure we had a great experience, looking for any animal, from a red frog the size of a quarter to monkeys running thru the trees.

A few tips. 1. You can leave your items in the van during stops. 2. Gym shoes like Brooks are the best shoes for the hanging bridges & volcano tour. For the waterfall Keens or Chacos work well. They (Hanging Bridges owners) make you sign a waiver if you don't have closed-toed shoes for the hanging bridges. 3. snacks and drinks are available for purchase before & after all stops. 4. You can purchase sodas at the lunch stop. Water and juice are included. 5. You don't need to bring any water. They provided water bottles before and after all activities. 6. The 500 steps at the waterfall are manageable, but walking back up was somewhat unpleasant. 7. The water at the waterfall is very cold. Also, you don't need to bring many towels. They aren't provided, but I packed 5 and could have gotten by with 2. 8. There was wifi available at the waterfall & possibly the hanging bridges. 9. The volcano trail was partially shady. You still need sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen, but there was some relief from the sun.

Amazing experience! Great tour guide. Easy transportation arrangement. Stopped at a Costa Rican ‘Tipica’ restaurant for lunch.

We did all three tours in one day and had an amazing time. Our guide Val was so knowledgeable and had a real respect for the animals and country she shared with us. It was outstanding.

This was an action pack day, starting with an approximately 4 km hike near Arenal volcano followed by a trip to the La Fortuna waterfall with swimming and ending the day at the Mistico Hanging Bridges Park. Our guide Wilbur was exceptional and extremely knowledgeable. It was also very friendly and talkative with the group. Transportation to and from the excursion was perfect and it was a great full day.

We had a wonderful time. We were mesmerized by everything we saw. The tour was well organized. The guide, Val, was knowledgeable of her stuff, she had an answer to all our questions on top of being very friendly. We definitely recommend this tour.

This was a wonderful experience. Great combination of a gentle hike, some time to cool off by the amazing La Fortuna waterfall, and then the hanging bridges to top it all off. Great way to spend a day. Our guide Diego was extremely knowledgeable and had a sharp eye for wildlife. I don’t think we would have seen any of the animals he pointed out to us if we were on our own. And he taught us a lot about the history of the area and geology around volcanoes. Our kids loved it, and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to CR.

This was a great activity. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke English well. She explained the history of the volcano, pointed out a lot of plants and wildlife, and prepared us well for each of the 3 activities. The views of the volcano were spectacular. We brought swim suits and towels and were able to change clothes in order to swim by the waterfall. I will warn you that this is a physically strenuous day. The path up and down the volcano is doable with sneakers (that's what we wore). Hiking shoes would have been preferred, had we brought them. It is 300 steps down to the waterfall, and then back up again. The path for the hanging bridges was more gentle. I would not recommend this activity for anyone traveling with older parents. I'm in pretty good shape, but my muscles were achy the next day!
