From when we entered the place we were made to feel really welcome. The bar staff were very friendly, the table magician was great fun, and then we entered into the secret room. A little bit of a squeeze, but with old buildings you have to work with what you have. Had a great view of a really funny and entertaining show. We only had 1 evening in Bristol and fancied going to something a bit different, we definitely made the right choice. Not going to give anything away but worth a visit and would definitely come again if in the city.

Went with my girlfriend for a comedy and magic show, the place is super cosy and the performance was so much better that we had expected. The staff and performers were very friendly and warm and the show itself was very interactive! Would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a good and interesting night out.

I went with one of my mates and we had a fantastic time! The magic and comedy were both great and it was hilarious when my mate got called up too! I'm a coeliac so I was happy they had gluten-free pizza and the cocktails were nice too. Highly recommend!

What a truly fantastic night we had. Mark and the magician were both absolutely hilarious and the magic had me sitting with my mouth open for the majority of the evening. Honestly, totally worth going here and we would definitely go again. Such fun!!

My face was hurting with laughter by the end of the show! Great acts all round and get the crowd really involved. If your in Bristol, make sure not to miss this.

Fantastic night out! The theatre is small and intimate, there's a house magician who has lots of cunning tricks up his sleeve, and overall we had a fantastic night.

Truely amazing evening….loved it🙌 no pressure to participate but it was that relaxed, you just join in… even entertained whilst waiting to be seated by the house magician which was nice touch

We visited on Saturday & had an enjoyable time. Both Dan & Richard were really funny and the magic tricks were great; so much better than expected. The whole show had a great atmosphere with lots of interaction & laughter.

Myself and my husband had a great time here, we've not been before and after reading some reviews we decided to go and we would definitely go again!  The comedy and close up magic was fantastic, we were sat right at the front and there was no-way of knowing how the tricks were performed!   Great evening out, highly recommend it!

Brilliant evening. Richard Newman was so funny and the magic was really entertaining. He engaged the whole audience and it was non stop laughter. I would thoroughly recommend paying Smoke and Mirrors a visit. I can see why it’s number one for things to do in Bristol.

Absolutely brilliant. Laughed from start to finish and the magic was very impressive. Went for the pizza and 2 drink deal. Wouldn’t rate the pizza at all but drinks were perfect😆. Perfect start to our night

Excellent show: the magic tricks were amazing and the comedy was good fun; we went as a group of friends for a birthday and we had a fantastic time in a fantastic place.

Chose this as part of our Christmas works do and it was an excellent choice. Theatre is perfect size with good atmosphere. Magic was excellent and plenty of laughs and audience participation. We would highly recommend and all of us want to return.
