We had a wonderful time on our tour with Rod! After a short safety video and practice maneuvering our Segways, we were on our way! Rod was entertaining and informative. He shared his knowledge of Charlotte as well as some fun personal stories. We felt prepared for our trip around Uptown and always felt safe. I live in Charlotte and anytime I have visitors from out of town we will try to schedule a tour with Rod and Charlotte NC tours!

The Segways were so much fun! As first timers, we found it easy to negotiate the city following James! The historical tour of the city, especially the homes in the 2nd Ward, was our favorite part.

Awesome way to explore uptown Charlotte. Well organized briefing and practice before we headed out. Rod was a great guide full of all kinds of local history and cultural tidbits. Very responsive to the group. Such fun to see things while on your own personal people mover!!

To start with, Carole’s emails leading up to the event were very helpful with how to find them and where to park, as well as gauging my proficiency on the Segway. I followed the advice and she kindly validated my parking. The guys at Charlotte NC Tours had the toughest time with an impromptu police cordon for a last minute Trump visit! Plus a torrential thunderstorm. They provided ponchos and adapted and improvised. I had a great time and learned a lot about the city. We were all Segway experts under their instruction in no time.

This was a really fun way to see and hear about the cities history. The tour guide Isaiah was good but he spoke faster than a NewYorker in a hurry.

Rod was great. Learned a lot and the weather was perfect. Why is Downtown called Uptown? What do the statues at Trade and Tryon represent? When was the first Declaration of Independence declared? You could look it up on Wikipedia, or just let Rod explain it.

Isaiah was THEE BEST tour guide ever! The entire company is amazing. I was unaware that Raleigh and Charlotte are 2.5 hours apart, so Carol so graciously allowed us to change our tour time. Isaiah also accommodated us because we were the only 2 on the tour. Definitely one of the my favorite city tours (I'm an avid trolley tour taker)! This was our first time in the beautiful city of Charlotte. We had a wonderful time with our tour guide Isaiah. He combined a fascinating tour of the city's history with a fun segway ride. It's an easy city to get around by segway safely and enabled us cover a lot of ground. Charlotte's "uptown" is a lot of fun. We highly recommend.

This was such a great tour. Isaiah, our guide, was fantastic! We learned a lot about Charlotte’s history. The experience was one that we will happily share with our family and friends. If you get the opportunity, go on this Segway tour. Not only did we learn new things, we had so much fun doing it.

Although we are CHARLOTTE residence, there was so much we did not know about Uptown. The guide was excellent and taught us many things about the history of Charlotte. Highly recommend this tour and the SEGWAYs were really fun to drive.

We just did the tour recently and it was great. Ron was very knowledgeable with 45 years of Charlotte Experiences. Highly recommended and we will book a different tour next time when we are in the area.
