We had a fantastic day with Newton because of a surprise layover in Rio de Janeiro. We wanted to avoid the crowds so he took us to the forest and we finished the day on the beaches.

Excellent Time management to enjoy the most of Rio de Janeiro in a given a short time. Camila was extremely accommodating and sympathetic; with lots of tips and strong will to share her love for the “wonderful city” and the Brazilian culture.

My guide Fabio was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited, he took his time explaining, seen so much in one day. Would recommend highly.

Camila did a fantastic describing various sites and places of interest, commenting in depth on the history of the site but or Rio and Brazil generally, which was highly insightful. She also took us to neighborhoods that were truly local in nature. This tour is jam packed with sites of interest - Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, the cathedral, the football stadium, the Olympic mural, the tile steps, and more. It was a fabulous day. Highly recommended.

This was the best city tour with the best guide- Flavio. His knowledge of the city and its history was incredible, and he made it so interesting to learn about. It is 100% worth having a tour guide and driver to get you to each place, as they got us through the lines much quicker as well as being super informative about each place. We had a private tour so got to the Selaron steps early and we had the whole place to ourselves which was fantastic. We then went to Christ the Redeemer, then Sugarloaf mountain. I would recommend starting the day early to avoid the crowds, as when we were leaving Christ the Redeemer it got ridiculously busy. I would highly recommend booking with Gregtur tours- and request Flavio as your guide if you can.

Our tour guide, Antonio, was incredible! He customized our trip to make sure we got to all of our top sites we wanted to see, including Cristo, Sugarloaf, Ipanema, Cocoacabana, Celeron Steps and a quick photo op at the futbol stadium. He even brought us to an amazing Brazilian BBQ steakhouse (a little pricey). Ticket prices to Cristo and Sugarloaf are not included in the tour price, but a must see. It was really great that Antonio had a driver so we didn't have to waste time finding parking/ walking to the car. Everything was perfectly timed, and we got to see everything we hoped for in Rio during our 12 hour layover. He even picked us up from the airport and dropped us off on time for our flight to Sao Paulo. Book this tour!

We knew this tour from the suggestion of Grand Hyatt Hotel Sao Paulo. We are a group of 4 people that came for the conference in Sao Paulo and we have only one day keft to visit Rio De Janeiro. We cannot buy flight tickets as it is over our budget so the concierge suggested this company to us with a private tour plan. We are really happy with the coordinated guy, Osvaldo, who communicated with us for the suitable car and our agenda, the driver, Bruno, who was very polite, helpful and kind. Especially, our local guide, Camila, who is being such a great guide. We really enjoyed the way she brought the city’s past to life with her stories. Camila Feher was a great guide. Friendly, funny, knowledgable with a true love for her city. The best tour guide we ever had. Our group spoke Spanish and English and her mastery of those two languages was great. She also taught us some portugués. Marco the driver provided great service. Funny and entertaining - dropping us off in front of each sight and quickly picking us up once we were ready to move on. A day spent with Camila and Marco will be a treat for any group looking to take in all rio has to offer. We saw all the top sights and learned a lot. A truly enjoyable experience.

Our private tour with Camila could not have gone better! She changed the itinerary on the fly in response to the weather, which kept Christ the Redeemer in clouds much of the day but which we managed to visit during a break in the weather. Our family moves through things pretty fast, so after having seen the main sights set out in the published itinerary, rather than end early as is often the case on private tours we visited a number of additional spots which gave us a fuller picture of Rio. She was informative and friendly throughout, even early in the morning when we were pretty groggy and unresponsive. Our driver did a great job as well! Booking was easy and we were able to communicate with the office and our guide seamlessly leading up to the tour.

We had a super nice day with camila and flavio. We learned many things about rio in a short time, ate local food, talked culture and saw a lot in only one day! Carioca Camila was very flexible and knowledgeable and deals elegantly with obstacles (like unexpected traffic and road checks) and Flavio's driving got us around safely and happily :) we will be back for more!!

Excellent tour if you don’t have a lot of time in Rio. Tour guide Sergio was amazing. Very knowledgeable and was very considerate of the time we had to get to airport. Our driver William was great and we had just enough time at each spot. Highly teccomend this way to travel. Large groups are not for me anymore.

Sergio was a very knowledgeable tour guide. He cared about our experience and made sure we could see all we wanted and kept track of time to make our flight. Our driver was excellent as well. Leandro was a fantastic tour guide. He arrived early at our cruise ship. He and our driver did a great job, navigating through the city, showing us all the fantastic and indescribably beautiful sites in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Christ, the redeemer, and Sugarloaf were two of the highlights, but we also went to other beautiful areas such as Santa Teresa steps. The library and cathedral were also must see’s. We had it 9 PM flight back to the United States and Leandro tailored our itinerary to make sure we saw Sugarloaf at sunset and still get to the GIG airport in plenty of time. It was really fantastic.

Most important is your guide and the very best is Camila! Rio is her home town and she knows It well. All the vendors know her and gave us free samples. She knows the history and she gave my husband a tour of Maracana soccer stadium he will remember for years to come. We had a late flight after a cruise and this was a great way to spend the day before going to the airport. I recommend this tour and Camila highly.

This tour will take you to all the important and touristy spots in Rio, but most importantly our guide Camila took us to some really beautiful and unique destinations that we would have never thought of going. She also added a lot of interesting commentary about the history of the city. Our driver Junior was excellent, kept us safe and in time to visit all the different places around town. I would not hesitate to book this tour again.

Camila is amazing! Best kept secret in Rio! Whether it’s your first time or 40th in the city, highly recommend you see this beautiful city with her. She knows so much and is incredibly efficient with shuttling you in between the highlights.
