We had such a great experience in Sri Lanka with Beauty Lanka Travels. Mr Menuka was a great driver and very helpful guide. I can’t imagine the trip without him!! If I could do it again, I would research the hotels a bit more and try to go off the beaten path a bit as we were definitely in the tourist hotspots for the tour we chose but still thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful country.

He will arrange everything and everywhere, such as the best seats on the train from Nuwara Eliya to Ella (Traveling along this iconic route is a great experience!), an excellent jeep driver for Safari or cooking lessons in Ella. Meeting Asanka was the start of an incredible journey. He's more than just a tour guide; he’s a caring and thoughtful person who made our trip so much better. I had an amazing 7 day trip, which was made all the better because of Niran my driver, who was professional, socialable, knowledgeable and highly friendly. He was also flexible in changing plans and showing me places outside of the schedule, alongside doing some excellent treks on an evening! I would definitely recommend beauty Lanka and Niran in particular.

I 100% recommend Beauty Lanka for Sri Lanka tours but our guide, Indika was what made it special and brought the trip to life. I booked with Beauty Lanka directly, they were very easy to deal with and speedy response time to questions. The tour itinerary was exactly what I was looking for and each day was filled with the perfect amount of touring. I was looking for a tour that was closer to the week mark (not 2-3 weeks like a lot of other itineraries) that included both Sigiriya and Yala. This did mean that every night was in a different hotel which can be a little tiresome, but worth it so we could see so much of this beautiful country. Regarding hotels, we upgraded from the basic hotels that are included to the 4 star option. Each hotel was great, all were clean and had comfortable beds, wifi and air conditioning. The hotel in Ella was still under construction so no lift to get up to the 6th floor and all the amenities were in a neighbouring hotel including breakfast and dinner. I was a little sick of stairs by the end of that night! But the staff were so kind and the view out of the balcony across Ella was so lovely. The stand out hotel was the Oak Ray Tea Bush Ramboda. Stunning hotel, incredible view, fantastic shower which also had a view and the staff were so so so lovely. 10/10! Save the best for last, our guide, Indika. Thank you so much for a wonderful time. We always felt safe and looked after. You are so knowledgeable and clearly have a passion for what you do and that is a pleasure to see. We will cherish the memories of the excitement when we saw our first leopard and laughing until we cried at the fish spa with you. I honestly hope we get to meet again. To anyone considering this trip, do it. I’m sure all the guides are great but I hope you get my friend, Indika.

We have had an amazing time in Sri Lanka. The company was very easy to book with and our guide Niran has been wonderful and amazing at making sure we can see everything in the week we have had here. We have felt very safe in all the places we have been and have seen so much of Sri Lanka in just a few days. It is a beautiful country and some of the highlights for me have been seeing the elephants, the early morning walks, trips to tea factories and the train journey to Ella. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anybody that is thinking about it. 😄 Bohoma istouti !

We booked a 6 day 5 night private tour with Beauty Lanka Travels. We are satisfied and enjoyed our trip very much. Our driver and guide Mahesh did everything to make our trip comfortable and he had shown us the best of the country. The highlights in the trip for me was Sigiriya Rock, Dambulla Golden Cave Temple, Temple of tooth, Coconut tree hill and the beach in Mirrissa. Accommodation was nice with all rooms are clean and tidy. Breakfast and dinner included in the tour was overall nice and delicious. I recommend this tour to anyone who would like to explore Sri Lanka!

The best thing in this private trip around Sri Lanka was the driver-guide, Mr.Niran. Very attentive, kind, helpful, calm, very punctual, the best trip companion i would ever desire. Was a big pleasure to be his client. The tour is good organized, with good turist spots. Mention: so called “luxury hotels” variant is not at luxury hotels,4 or 5 star. In fact you receive mainly 3 star hotels (i had included only one 4 star hotel, the rest of them were 3 star). This was disappointing. But overall was a good, interesting tour in a special wonderful country. Many thanks to Mr. Niran, my travel driver-guide, he is a special human being.

The best trip I’ve ever been on! The 8 days were filled with amazing sites and experiences. The highlights of the trip for me were the elephant safari, lion rock, botanical gardens, Ella train and the snake farm (was hard to narrow down). I feel like we saw and learnt so much about Sri Lanka and I’d love to do it all again. Our tour guide was Nishantha. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all the nature and history of Sri Lanka. He was also a really lovely and friendly person. We felt he went out of his way to make sure everything we wanted from the trip happened. I would highly recommend him to anybody wanting to do this trip. Some of the days are very busy and a couple of early starts. This was good for us as we like to be kept busy. If that isn’t what you’d like then they will happily edit the itinerary to suit you better. We felt the hotels on the trip were all really nice. With good air-con, good food and staff always willing to help, you can’t really go wrong. 5 stars all round from me and my partner. If you book this holiday have a lovely time.

Chalana led us on a delicious exploration of Sri Lanka's culinary landscape. Sampling local cuisine at our hotels and beyond was a treat. The tea plantations were a serene and tasty detour.

Sri Lanka is an incredible place! The tour company was fantastic and Amila, our driver and guide, made sure we saw as much as possible during our eight days on the island, so they are highly recommended. There is such a huge amount to do and see that a whole month still wouldn't be long enough. For photography, I suggest taking a proper DSLR with a good zoom lens. All the accommodation was basic and comfortable and well situated. Food was excellent. Take a good pair of light walking shoes rather than flip-flops for most excursions. Picking an overall highlight is impossible as everywhere you go has at least one 'Wow!' moment. A brilliant holiday/experience. Just go. Get off your sofa, forget Netflix, see this wonderful place for yourself.

Discovering Sri Lanka's hidden gems was a treat. Our guide, Rajh, took us through lush landscapes and ancient ruins. The cozy hotels and the sight of elephants in the wild were unforgettable.

We really enjoyed the 8-days-roundtrip in Sri Lanka. The flora and fauna, sights, temples and cities on the route are amazing. The hotels were very nice. Our driver/guide Rajh did everything to make this experience very special for us. Would recommend doing it.

We booked a 12 day trip with Beauty Lanka. Sri Lanka has great natural beauties and we enjoyed seeing the different sites. Our driver Janaka is a great driver and caring person. He took excellent care of us during the trip. If you consider booking the trip, check the hotels out before confirming. Some of them are subpar and don’t meet the standards of the stars the hotels are listed as. Also, we got put in a 3-star hotel even though the trip was for 4 or 5 star hotels. The hotel room had molds and a bad smell. We ended up paying extra to move to a different hotel the next night.

Incredible! From the moment we arrived at the airport everything was very well organised. Our driver/guide Amila was waiting for us at 03.50. The trip is organised to maximise the number of interesting places to visit. It was action packed, but extremely enjoyable and informative. Amila is very knowledgeable and speaks excellent English. He is also very willing to change the itinerary to suit your needs. He is very patient, especially with us, as an older couple, he helped us with the harder climbing and didn't rush us at all. All the accommodation was welcoming, clean and comfortable and catered very well for your basic needs. However it would be a good idea to bring a couple of power packs for your rechargeable electrical items as none of the hotels have many electrical sockets in the rooms. Overall, this has been a wonderful holiday. We would highly recommend it to other travellers.

We have had the most incredible holiday touring around Sri Lanka - it has truly been a once in a lifetime experience and could not recommend this holiday enough! Our tour guide and personal driver (Indrajith Ranaweera) was the best we have ever had; his knowledge of the local area, skill at safely navigating the car through chaotic streets (of which there are many!) and most importantly love for his homeland and its people is indescribable, not once did he stop smiling and was always so attentive to all of our needs and special requests, going above and beyond to ensure that we experienced the REAL Sri Lanka! As well as making certain that we saw all the necessary sites/experiences that this stunning island is known for (e.g. Elephant Safari, Ella Train Ride and The Temple of the Sacred Tooth), Indra even offered to show us places and give us experiences not included in the originally planned itinerary (e.g. watching a local couple make clay pots for the Buddhist New Year, getting us to try local buffalo curd and honey at a traditional roadside shack and attending a cookery lesson on how to make traditional Sri Lankan cuisine) to ensure that we left no stone unturned on our 7 day trip. Booked with Beautylanka through TA. Communication excellent from the start. I was a little concerned that I only paid £70 up front and that the rest was to be paid in cash on arrival. I need not have worried. A couple of days before departure I was contacted by our driver Jude. On arrival he met us as arranged and we began a fabulous 8 day tour. Jude was a safe considerate driver who always arrived on time. We made small adaptations to our itinerary with no fuss. Jude was knowledgeable and informative and good fun - just what you need if you’re spending a week with someone. All the hotels were of good standard with food to match. Really helped us experience this beautiful country in the best possible way.
