10 days of excellent wildlife viewing thanks to our guide Benon. His skills were unparalleled! We had amazing experiences on the game drives. Benon was knowledgeable and had remarkable instincts on how the wildlife would behave. We were rewarded with great viewings! The 10 day safari and gorilla trekking experience was well organized and allowed us to get acquainted with the beautiful people of Uganda. We got to travel to so many areas of Uganda! Incredible 11-day experience in Rwanda and Uganda. We are satisfied with the agency, as they have met our expectations. Both the landscapes and the diversity of wildlife we have seen have left us impressed. Seeing animals in their natural habitat is magical. I would highlight the Gorilla Trekking and having the opportunity to see the “Big Five” and the “Ugly Five”! We were very lucky with the guides who accompanied us. The guide in Rwanda, Teo, was very professional, friendly and caring. In Uganda, where we spent most of the trip, we were with Amos, who made our trip even more unique. He always shared with us his passion and knowledge (which is a lot!!) about Uganda’s culture, landscapes and wildlife, always trying to make sure we enjoyed the experience to the fullest and caring for our needs. And he’s a great photographer too! We feel that he has become part of our family and that without him the trip would not have been the same. Without a doubt, it is a trip we would repeat!

Our experience organising the trip with Hedmond from Home to Africa was a breeze. Where he really stepped it up was when our flight from sth Africa was unfortunately delayed cutting our trip a day short. He sorted everything out. & accommodated us. From the moment we meet Amis the Guide with his warm nature the trip was a treat! Amos's knowledge of Ugand & the African wild life was a unbelievable as an extra bonus being bird lovers we got to benifit from his extensive bird watching skills, his hawk like eys catching birds others just couldn't! There was only 1 isse on the trip which was the water in the showers at Queen Elizabeth National Park accommodation besides tha t the service & amazing experience & encounters with wildlife at this acom was litterally mind blowing all other accom was excellent also! Benon Namara was our guide and he was incredible. Such a lovely, knowledgeable and flexible guy. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience in Uganda. It was more than we could ever have imagined. Everything ran smoothly without any stress or having to manage anything ourselves. The tour company helped me to get there when I missed my final flight. They turned a stressful situation around in order to make sure my holiday was still amazing. Safety was a major thing with this tour. We had armed guards with us whenever we did any of the walking aspects of the tour. It made us feel very safe at all times. I would highly recommend visiting Uganda and using home to Africa as your tour company!!

It's been an amazing 9-day journey around all Uganda in the hands of our driver, William. He has been our driver, our guide, our teacher, ... we are very grateful of having had him for this experience because he made it so awesome. He's a really funny guy, you can't get bored with him, and very knowledgeable which is super important for this trip. Not to mention he knows everybody in all the places we were at, with a good relationship with them all. The safari pack is quite tight and fixed, but he did everything he could behind the scenes to tailor it to our needs when needed. Regarding the trip, it's been incredible to see all the animals in their habitat. The gorilla trecking was quite hard but worth it! We are really happy we took this trip with Home To Africa, they took care of everything there very carefully. We recommend it to everyone, and there's only one thing we would change if we needed to go again: keep one day to rest after 2-3 days of nonstop - because this trip is quite exhausting!

My Family and I just came back from our dream trip to Uganda. A full 9 days trip across the most beautiful places in this magical country. Nevertheless to say that 9 days are not enough since the country it is so rich and interesting. We had an absolutely amazing time! Our group consisted of 9 people, all friends and family with two vehicles and drivers. AKA "Captain" Derick Love did an exceptional job at leading the group and the two vehicles through the entire journey. As did Eli the second driver! They both went above and beyond the call of duty to make our trip a very comfortable, timely and memorable experience for everyone. We recently traveled to Uganda and Rwanda with Home to Africa. Our guide was Benon Namara. Benon was instrumental in making our holiday unforgettable. He was considerate and attentive ensuring we were looked after so well at all times. He stopped to buy us the most delicious pineapples and jackfruit along the way, cutting up the fruit for us at scenic spots to enjoy. Benon also ensured that he was on the lookout for any experiences we might enjoy even though these were not on the itinerary. The itinerary itself was well put together with such a wide variety of activities including the clear highlights of the gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi, chimpanzee trekking in Kibale and the white rhino trekking at Zziwa rhino sanctuary. We stayed in a range of accommodation from budget to midrange. The highlights were Bweza gorilla lodge and Ride for a woman. Judith and Gavis from Bweza Gorilla lodge had the best customer service focus we have experienced in Uganda by far. Evelyn Habasa and her Ride for a Woman organization was an unexpected finding and the most inspirational aspect of our holiday. Our only regret was having a single night at both of these amazing accommodations. Thank you Home to Africa for an unforgettable experience!

The Nile River Murchison falls park to safaris with the Big5 to over the top Zebra drive by to what really defines the word EPIC in Gorilla Trekking. They knew everything there was to know about the culture to the environment to the history to the animals, the habitat and how to keep us extremely safe and comfortable the entire time. I just returned from an 8-day safari of the Pearl of Africa and it was the most incredible experience of my life! Home to Africa guided my family on the trip of a lifetime. From picking us up at the airport to giving us a heartfelt sendoff to our home country, this company was organized and made our trip feel stress-free. Our epic guides Brian and Robert, or "the men who can" as we called them, had such beautiful personalities and made us feel so welcome in their home country. Despite the difficult and irregular terrain of Ugandan roads, our guides were excellent drivers. On all of our safaris, they made sure that we were able to see all of the exotic animals that each national park had to offer. Additionally, they each had an extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna of each region. Every day of our safari was loaded with adventure and every night contained laughter and storytelling. The day of gorilla trekking and visiting an orphanage in Bunyonyi was definitely a highlight of our trip, but each game and boat drive was just as adrenaline-filled! Not to mention, each meal we dined was fresh and flavorful. Honestly, this was an experience of a lifetime filled with beautiful people and jaw-dropping sites. I'm not usually one to write reviews but Robert, Brian, and the Home to Africa company as a whole deserve high praise! Cheers to the men who can!🍻

Our drivers from Home to Africa - Robert and Brian - are the Men that Can! From the moment of pickup at the airport by this duo, we felt welcome and they took the best care of our group of 7 over the 8 days we were on safari. They are both knowledgeable of the local culture and wildlife and took great care to point everything out to us and ensured we had the best experience possible, including plenty of opportunity to take photos and breaks when needed. They were keen at spotting the Big Five - only animal that eluded us were the leopards but we saw a couple of bonus animals along the way - zebras and hyenas! Well worth the investment to go on this excursion and with our positive experience we look forwarded to doing this again in the future. Highly recommend!

Best vacation ever all thanks to our amazing guides, Robert (The Man Who Can) and Brian. They were attentive and very caring for my entire family. They were always ready and eager to please at every event. And by far the best at spotting animals. We saw all the animals and places in the description and most of them up close and personal. The whole family had a blast, in great part due to their fantastic services. Would definitely do this again. A life changing experience!

Overland travel from Rwanda to Uganda was seamless with this custom tour designed and executed by Home To Africa. From the emailing and booking stage, Hedmond was very responsive and amended the tour to our needs. Payment terms were reasonable and with final payment close to tour dates. From airport pick up to airport drop off, everything went seamlessly, with excellent local drivers and guides and well chosen accomodation that is locally owned and supports the local community (like Ride4aWoman). Highlights were gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable forest, Chimpanzee trekking and even squeezing in a visit to the Rhino Sanctuary on our last day. The drivers and vehicle were well equipped and suited for the journey. In Rwanda, Vincent drove safely on the unpaved roads and led us to the border crossing. From there Benon took over and looked after us from dawn to dusk, arranging meal schedules, driving times and tours for our schedule. He went out of his way to buy us delicious local foods for us to try like pineapple and hot cassava on the roadside. We appreciated his safe driving and skills on the offroad safari, as well as amazing spotting ability of wildlife in the distance so we could take photos.

We incorporated the 8-Day Murchison Falls safari into our 6 week African Honeymoon. It was definitely the highlight of our trip, thanks to our amazing guide, Danny. Having never been to Uganda before, we didn't know what to expect, but were completely blown away by the country's natural beauty and abundance of wildlife. Like many, our main reason for visiting was the Gorilla Trek, but this tour had so much more to offer. We loved having our itinerary pre-planned for us by Home to Africa so we could just relax and enjoy our safari. We opted for the mid-range accommodation option and were so happy all of our accommodations and the level of service provided at each location. Without a doubt, the best part of our tour was our guide/driver, Danny. His knowledge and love for his country is obvious and we thoroughly enjoyed learning about Uganda and East African history on our daily drives. We feel so incredibly lucky to have had Danny as our guide and now our friend. He really went above and beyond to make our honeymoon so special. We just got back from the best trip ever! We could not be happier: Everything was top organized, the accommodations were always very nice, well located, clean and the food was super delicious. But the best thing of all was our guide Amos! He is such a great person and brought us closer to the animal kingdom and the country of Uganda through his detailed explanations and we really have to say that Uganda is a real hidden gem when it comes to safaris.
