The waterfalls was the best excursion I've ever done. It was a trek to walk up to the waterfalls. Our guides were funny and made the walk go by faster. If you're looking for a thrill, this is the excursion for you. I would do this again and again. Virgilio was our driver for the day. He picked us up from the cruise port, he answered all questions, he told us about the Dominican Republic as we were driving. He took us on a tour after the falls. We saw how cigars were rolled, very cool! He even found my friend a coconut to drink out of on our way back to the ship. It was all she wanted on our trip and he made her day. We highly recommend this excursion!

Amazing excursion!. Pick up on time with a great driver. Falls were beautiful and loads of fun. Hike was quite the workout but worth it! The stop on the way back to tour various plants/fruit trees and cigar making was very informative. Bring cash! Highly recommend.

One of the best excursions I’ve been on! The waterfalls and lunch buffet were excellent! The hike was moderately strenuous and some of the jumps were big, so I would not recommend for those who are not moderately adventurous and moderately fit. The taxi and tour guides were very nice. They give you a bottle of water for your hike. All you need to bring is water shoes. The buffet lunch was unlimited and very good. Traditional dominican chicken and rice, also salad and vegetables.

I can’t speak highly enough of this experience. Booked through ViaTor in lieu of the cruise line saved us a little over half, and the experience was supreme. Personal driver instead of the tour bus, and our own personal guide. This man was amazing! We met outside the gates of the terminal and then he dropped us off at the trailhead with a waterfall guide he wanted us to have, not just the next one, which was awesome. The experience was superb. When we finished the trail, he was waiting for us and got us into lunch before the crowds came, and then since we had time left over, (since it was just 4 of us and not the whole bus full like the cruise), he took us to a local plantation where we saw what Dominican homesteading was like. We experienced home grown hot chocolate and coffee, fruits and so on that were unreal, all for free and not part of the prescribed tour. The pineapple, mango, and banana was the best I’ve ever had and grown like 30 feet away. I would do this your over and over again and can’t speak highly enough of the operator.

Very beautiful waterfalls, super fun and awesome tour guides. Javier was our driver and got us there fast and safe. Irina was our tour guide and was very informative and helpful. JB was our photographer and took tons of photos and was very fun to be around. All around a great excursion!

Well, I booked this excursion through trip adviser because I HATE the cruise crowds. But to my dissapointment we ended up in a giant group of 40 plus people. The idea was wonderful but the end experience I truly did not enjoy. nor did my family. We were just in herd of people. either rushing or standing around waiting. The lunch was nice and everyone guiding the trip was also nice.

This tour was so much fun! Great day hiking, sliding and jumping off waterfalls. The delicious lunch was perfect after the tour.

We were a group of 7, including 3 teens. This was a very organized and headache-free excursion with Edwin transfer tours. The awesomeness began upon first contact over WhatsApp. Edwin was very responsive and organized. We had a ton of questions and all questions were answered, tips and suggestions were given and we were left feeling quite reassured having booked with his company. The excursion itself was fantastic starting with a long, shady (~30-40 min) uphill hike similar to a hike you would do for a zip lining excursion. Our waterfall guides made things interesting, pointing out the fauna and flora around us. When we got to the waterfalls, we had a blast, jumping into refreshing freshwater pools, walking through passages and sliding down the falls. We all wore water shoes, girls wore bathing suits under shorts and either tanks or swim shirts. We brought phones in waterproof cases and got some wicked pictures. We also ended up booking an airport transfer and a city tour with Edwin. Prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. Our assigned driver and city tour guide was Virgilio, who was very attentive and a great communicator. Virgilio and Edwin organized our day to ensure we would not be met with crowds and line ups. They made sure we were taken care of, our things were secure in the very spacious air conditioned van and we were able to see and do everything as described. Virgilio took us to many sites, and we got off and on when we wanted to take pics, and visited rum, cigar, chocolate factories and the many other sites that the city has to offer. I highly recommend booking all your transportation needs and excursions with him!

This was a fantastic tour. Half the price of booking through the cruise line, included lunch (unlike the cruise tour), and incredibly well-organized and safe. Plus you beat the massive cruise crowds to the park. Sammy was a terrific guide and our family had a blast! Beware - the hike is strenuous. Bring good shoes!

Sammy was an excellent guide who told us much about the Dominican Republic on our way to the falls. While the hike was a bit strenuous, it was definitely worth it to be able to jump, slide, and swim in and around the beautiful waterfalls of Damajagua. The food at the end was like a delicious reward after a fun day of adventure. If you are relatively fit, then I highly recommend this tour.

If you love waterfalls and if you're healthy, do this! We didn't know what to expect, but it was so fun, scary, refreshing, unique and exhilarating. You have to hike a half hour before you reach the falls. It may be difficult if you have asthma or trouble walking/hiking a long distance. We bought a digital underwater camera and took pics of this adventure.

I would highly recommend using Edwin Transfers Tours to visit Damajagua Falls. Edwin was great to work with and promptly answered my questions through WhatsApp prior to our arrival. We had a great time, and Samuel was a great guide and la Familia for the day. They were easy to find outside Taino Bay cruise port. We had an adventurous ride to the falls and our driver was great. They let us leave our belongings securely in the bus and I felt they were safely locked inside. After a short hike up the mountain we started jumping and sliding down through the waterfalls with our group. Samuel was with us throughout the entire journey. We hired a photographer for $45. I would recommend this as well. Warlin was jumping and swimming with us the whole time and when I lost our group, I could easily pick him out. Plus, we got some great photos and videos to remember all the fun. The provided lunch after was delicious and everyone was so nice and helpful. Then back on to the bus where Samuel played local music and made sure we were having a great time. After a brief stop at a local shop to learn how to make cigars and try the delicious Mamajuana drink, we were safely returned to our cruise port. Don't forget to bring tips for your wonderful guides, bus driver and photographer and have a great time. It is worth it!!!

Fun trip with Santa Torres! Private pick up from our hotel. When we got to the falls our driver made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to keep our belongings in the taxi. As well he found us a place to buy a waterproof sleeve for my phone. Falls were cool! I would for sure go again!

Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Really enjoyable experience jumping and sliding from the falls. Also enjoyed the nature hike.

It was a great experience. Be prepared for a very nice hike, but one you start, it's well worth it. The beauty of this place is unexplainable, you have to experience it for yourself. The waterfall are great so we're the guides. Enjoy your day and keep making memories

The waterfalls were a bit crowded, but lots of fun. The Viator guide was prompt and helpful getting us there.
