Team Tino helped us incredibly! I was the only woman in a group of 5 of my friends. With 15 men on Team Tino - I felt safe and well taken care of on the mountain. Sam and Good Chance really motivated me to reach the summit when I felt like giving up. Joaqim and Tino watched out for me through the other days as well. Hats off to the rest of the team and especially Freddy & Francis for the best food! I mean, can you believe we had yummy pizza on the mountain?

I travelled Lemosho Route from 2nd-9th December. My guide was Nelson, assisted by Jafari. They were INCREDIBLE. The whole team (12 porters, 1 cook, 2 guides) could not do enough for us - we were a group of 4 random tourists 3M 1F and they made the whole experience exceptional, from their smiles to encouragement and singing - it lifted our spirits so much & we all summited. One of the most important things for me when sourcing companies is their treatment of staff - and all of the staff on our trip loved Monkey. Also - tips go directly hand to hand to the staff whereas a lot of companies in Moshi take the money to keep a percentage for themselves. We expected basic food but instead we got roasted veggies, pizza, pasta, chips, salads, potatoes, different soup every day, avacado & salsa, on day 4 they send one of the porters down the mountain to bring fresh snacks and supplies. The breakfast alone was porridge/ fresh papaya or melon and oranges, crepe pancakes and hotdogs! Peta the chef was so accommodating to dietary requirements also and his food tasted amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this company and the team we summited with. Our porters were Phillipe (who carried my bag and set up my tent and went above and beyond expectations every day - from taking my waterproofs out to dry, helping me take off my boots after summit when I was exhausted etc), Godfrey, Isaac, Eric, Dolla (who constantly refilled our water bottles, served us our meals and had us laughing all of the time), Bassil (who was my porter to summit and had the patience of a saint). I would not only recommend this company but if you can - request this team. I will never get over how perfect they made it.

My wife and I recently completed the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro and we could not have attained this incredible achievement without the help of our great guides Robert and Inocent! The cook Linus kept us fed with delicious fresh food, waiters and support staff Jafeth and Amos looked after us and made sure we were comfortable and replenished. The support crew of porters were amazing. The Monkey Adventures team really went above and beyond to make us feel comfort. The walking pace was good. We didn't feel like we were being pushed beyond our physical capabilities to get to the top. There were some very challenging days, but the guides made us feel safe and were patient and encouraging when we felt like we were hitting a wall. There were also educational aspects to the trek as guides Inocent & Robert were great at spotting and teaching us about the various animals and plants and herbs we encountered. Aside from some minor issues with the tent zippers and the occasional rush to gather our things in the morning to be ready for the day's start, I can't criticize too much. My favorite moments included the scenic decent into the Barranco Camp, catching the sunrise at Stella Point near the summit, kissing my wife at the very top at Uhuru Peak, and of course the singing and dancing the crew did at the very end to celebrate our successful journey! Overall we would recommend Monkey Adventures as a reliable, trustworthy, and fun trekking company! This was our introduction to Africa and Tanzania and it couldn't have been better!

We climbing kill and did a safari with monkey adventures. everything was really good. All the logistics went very smoothly through our whole trip. Our guides were great on the mountain and our guide for the Safari, Albert was amazing. Over all we had a really good experience with Monkey Adventures.

Amazing trip! Everything went according to plan, all smooth sailing from the first email sent to Monkey till the drop off to the airport on my last day in Tanzania. Communication was always easy with them, they were fast to answer any questions I had, and willing to accommodate last minute changes. The guides were awesome! Some of the most fun, attentive, and caring people I've met. They went the extra mile to make sure each and every member of our group made it to the top. Can't recommend them enough! Had a 3 day safari afterwards and that was amazing as well, absolutely no complaints.

Where to start! Incredible!!!! What can I say… well, everything was perfect. We had the most amazing crew (Bakari was the head guide). I can totally recommend booking your hike with monkey adventure. There was never a movement which I thought ohhh it’s dangerous or I don’t feel comfortable! We had the best experience! All of our group summited, but only because of the amazing crew. Thank you for that!!! Will definitely recommend to all my friends who want to conquer Kilimanjaro !!!

My daughters idea! Lets go to Tanzania and hike Kilimanjaro. Why not? A great experience, nice relaxed hikes through the different zones of rainforest, moorland and alpine then the final challenging night hike to the summit. All of the way we were well supported by Ramma's great team from Monkey Adventures. Special mention to Chris the cook, great food and our two guides assisted by Isaac on the night hike.

Absolutely loved going through monkey adventures! Tino and Teacher were the best guides I could have asked for. Communication was on point from the start, was able to pay in card, transportation to and from airport and everything. They are a well oiled machine. Plus they are a local team, unlike other major companies. Go with monkey, you wont be disappointed.

Had a great experience climbing Kilimanjaro on the 7 day Lemosho route with Monkey Adventures. Monkey offered great value for money, couldn't have asked for any more food, assistance, guidance or equipment on the mountain so not sure what other more expensive companies are really charging you for. Right from when we were deciding our preferred route and options to when we had booked and were finalising some arrangements our questions were answered swiftly by John and the team. All our transfers were arranged for us which made the trip run very smoothly. Our guides Dixon and Stephen were great, spoke fantastic English and explained everything to us daily so we knew exactly what the plan was for the day ahead. On summit night Dixon paced us perfectly to arrive at the top just as the sun was rising. Our chef and waiter (Richard) were great, they fed us plenty of food which was always delicious. When we changed our plans on the last day to come off the mountain in one day they organised transport back to Moshi and an extra night in a hotel for us seamlessly. I would recommend Monkey Adventures.

What an amazing experience! Myself and 2 others did the Lemosho Route (7 day) with Monkey Adventures. Everything went so smoothly thanks to the Monkey Adventure team, and they supported us in our end goal of reaching the summit. Dixon and Stephen were great guides, Richard the waiter was fantastic too, and all of the porters were incredible. They were friendly and answered all the questions we may have had about the climb, country and culture. The food was fantastic, hot cooked lunches and dinners each day. Even when we decided to go down one day early (we were tired), the team accommodated and even arranged our extra night in the hotel straight away. The transfers from the airport to the hotel, hotel to the mountain etc were also all arranged by them and were timely and safe. All in all, a fantastic experience and I cannot recommend Monkey Adventures highly enough!

My group of 3 booked the 7 day Lemosho route Kilimanjaro trek with Monkey Adventures. We could not recommend them enough. They responded so quickly and efficiently to any email we sent and were sure to answer all of our questions and concerns. We ascended the Kili Summit on Dec 30th, with our brilliant group of guides; Dennis, Baraka and Nasri. Kili was a solid challenge. Not too easy that you would forget it, and not hard to the extent you would hate yourself for doing it. Our team has been extremely helpful, in making sure that all 6 of us would reach the summit, despite illnesses, breathing challenges, physical difficulties and more. Throughout the trip, our guides took care of everything; starting with food and ending up with caring our equipment. Every time we reached the camp - our tents were ready, food was available, and ppl were smiling and happy to help. This has been a once in a life time experience, which I am going to remember. The entire crew took excellent care of us at the various camps and during the walks, always helpful and smiling. The food was diverse and tasted good. In September 2022, I booked a solo Kilimanjaro trip with Monkey. I chose the 7-day Lemosho route. The communication beforehand was incredibly smooth, fast and professional. Likewise with the payments abroad. The group turned out to be a total of 5 girls. We received a good and comprehensive briefing the evening before the start and were introduced to Gasper the head guide. Our gear was also checked to avoid missing stuff. The next 7 days turned out to be a feast! The crew and guides were fantastic in every way! Every evening (and morning) there is a comprehensive briefing and they measure your pulse and oxygen levels. Their care for us was extremely well. In addition, Gasper, Ready Eddy and Abdi are incredibly fun, sweet and sociable. Their goal is to get you to the summit safely and preferably with a lot of fun. To anyone considering booking a trek on Kilimanjaro, look no further! We chose Monkey Adventures on the advice of friends who booked with this organization and said it was really good. I will go even further and say this was an allround top tier experience! You won't find better prices for everything we got at our disposal. The food was surprisingly good and varied, the tents were more than large enough for two people, we had hot water to wash ourselves and you could always ask for a refill of your water bottles. When we arrived at a location, either to lunch or sleep, the big tent with table and chairs where we ate was always standing ready. You could go for a hot coffee or tea at any moment. All of the crew were super helpful and friendly and the guides were always ready to answer questions. During the hike they gave a lot of additional information about the mountain, the nature, the country, and so one.. Dennis (our main guide), Baraku and Jumande were a perfect blend of guides. Each with their own style and approach. They feel the group really well, and know exactly what pace is needed and adjust it where needed. As this was a first for us, we did not really know what to expect. But it really exceeded all of our expectations!

We had an amazing experience with Monkey Adventures, but most of all, we could count on our wonderful, unbelievably strong and loyal crew of porters, guides and cook. All four of us made it to the top in 6 days (Lemosho route) thanks to these guys, we can't thank you enough for your hard work! Lemosho is a beautiful scenic route with a lot of different views and vegetations. The hike up to the summit during the 4th night of our trip was heavy but we made it thanks to the motivational songs and words and the help of our guides Jasper and Abdul and our cook Afsan. The view at the top and the massive reward we felt is something we will never forget! Nothing but good words from our side for the experience we got thanks to Monkey Adventures, but we hope and expect that organisations like Monkey Adventures make sure the porters and guides are paid right and receive proper equipment for the immense work they do. Nothing but respect for these guys!

I travelled solo from London and let it all unfold. I tried not to read too much and just go with the adventure that was going to unfold. Had briefing - which was brief. Following day rented sleeping bag and hit the road to meet my fellow hikers and team who I knew nothing about. I was pleasantly surprised by the spirt and energy of everyone and we all gelled pretty quickly. I cannot fault anything on route as it was just one of the most incredible experiences to date. The team never let us down with our requests or keeping moral up. The porters are the unsung hero's here. They are the ones that need more recognition for the arduous job they do. Our guides Dennis and Baraka made sure we were safe, supported us and spurred us on with moments of solitude, singing and never ending smiles. We all summited however mine was extra special as I summited on my 50th! Not that I remember much of it - altitude sickness does funny things to you! When we eventually made our next camp down they produced the most amazing cake, I was so moved by this. I cannot recommend Monkey adventures for the safety, team spirit and success rate. They want you do succeed. They were the least pushy agency that I dealt with and this was another reason why I went with them. I cannot recommend them enough for one of the most incredible experiences you will ever do.

We used Monkey Adventures for both the 7-day Lemosho route & 4-day Serengeti/Ngorongoro trip. We had an amazing experience -- they were super reliable, set up pre-trip meetings to discuss plans + set expectations, and were incredibly response via email communications with all of our (many, many!) questions. I'd highly recommend anyone who's hiking Kili or going to the Serengeti to use Monkey Adventures!
