We are grateful to have booked a travel experience with this tour company; and a large part of our enjoyment on this particular four day excursion can be attributed to our guide Youssef. He was professional and personable; and exudes pride in his culture, country, and work. We appreciate (and were consistently surprised) at his attentiveness to detail and he was highly attuned to our travel needs. One of us has very specific dietary needs due to a medical condition; and Youssef notified the staff responsible for preparing meals at the lodges so they could prepare something special. Aside from the festivities expected out of the trip (camel ride, stops for local goods, a night in the desert, visiting a Berber family in their tent), we taken on a hike that was immersed in nature and had no tourist traffic. Spending hours in the comfortable van ride, we learned a lot about the history and culture by having our myriad of questions answered thoroughly. The air conditioner didn’t work well in the van but the fresh air through the windows was sufficient. We have years of travel experience under our belt and rarely (if at all) book tours. Due to the nature of the trip (long distances on the road, visiting the desert, and language barriers), we booked the first tour we saw online and were very satisfied with the promptness and clear communication via WhatsApp, especially when we booked last minute (for the next day). Our request to be dropped off at an earlier destination rather than the final one was honored. What would have made the tour more enjoyable is if it involved more businesses run by women. Most of our hosts and people we interacted with at the lodging and restaurants were men. It seems that women led tourism is in short supply in Morocco generally, so while this is not a fault of this company, it would be great to start the trend and make a positive impact. We are a male and female presenting couple and would recommend this guide for solo or groups of female travelers as well.

What a great experience we had on this tour! We booked the Sahara Riders for the 5days/4nights from Fes to Marrakech with an overnight in the Merzouga desert. We traveled as two female friends from Tunisia and we really loved our Moroccan experience. Our expert driver/guide Youssef was very informative, friendly and helpful, he showed us all the important sceneries and attractions explaining the history of each of the places we went. Our highlight was the camel trekking experience and the overnight in the tent in the Merzouga desert. Quad biking experience was fun, and we wish we could do it for more than one hour. We were a group of five females, traveling in Morocco for 10-days and we booked a trip with the company for the desert 5-day trip. I chose Sahara Riders, because of different and mixt activities offering during the 5-day trip which doesn't offer by other companies. From the start to the end, our guide-driver/guide did a great job and answer all our many questions. We got the upgraded accommodation, and I never knew a camp could be so luxurious! There were proper beds with tons of blankets and even a bathroom with hot, running water! The food was never-ending and delicious. We really loved the experience. My two friends and I booked an adventure trip from Marrakech airport to Merzouga desert with the hike in the Atlas Mountains. Our guide was extremely informative about the Berber and Moroccan tradition. We really enjoyed the visit of the nomadic family in their cave and the abandoned mosque in Todra. The tour was more than what we were expecting, everything was taken care of from start to finish so I could just relax and enjoy spending time with my friends. We booked the upgraded accommodation as well as the luxury camp in the desert which was the highlights of our expedition. The camel ride was not very comfortable, however, it is still an experience to try. I would not hesitate to book again with this company.

With my 6 other friends, we booked them last month for the Atlas Mountains trip, and we enjoyed every moment. The pick up was in perfect time. We really loved the activities offered on this trip. What a great adventure trip!! Like probably most other people we were a bit reluctant to believe in ratings so high, but after our adventure trip in the Sahara desert, I think the reputation is well deserved. We were collected by Youssef from Marrakech airport and drove to the High Atlas Mountains then to Dades Valley. The tour took us for 5 days with amazing views, and we learned a lot about Morocco thanks to Youssef. The company arranged quality accommodation(especially the hotel on the first night in Dades Valley and the desert luxury camp) and our guide went out of his way to make everything easy and stress-free. I cannot thank Sahara Riders and Youssef for the fantastic adventure and highly recommend them to anyone who would like to visit Morocco with a tailored trip.

Just an amazing experience starting from the airport! This was our first time visiting Morocco(3 females) and as such, I was a little apprehensive about booking a private excursion like this online but it turned out to be the best decision ever. Youssef, met us outside of Marrakech airport with a bit smile, from here we got a good start our desert private tour. He explained to us all that we are seeing during this 5-day trip, and he did a fantastic job of driving us to the desert. We learned a lot from Youssef, and he knew the best sightseeing spots along the way, with the best restaurants for our lunches. I really enjoyed the camel ride and the stay in the tents with the local people. I can't recommend this amazing experience enough. Hope to come back soon for another great adventure trip.

What a wonderful experience! Our -day trip from Marrakech to Fes was more than what we were expecting. The landscapes were amazing, we learned a lot about the attractions we visited by our expert local guide. The hotels used for this trip were amazing(3 and 4****), with excellent restaurants. The desert camp was the best, a luxury camp in the middle of nowhere. We really loved the camp ride during the sunset, and the stars. After the sunrise on the dunes, we had fun with the sandboarding and rode the quad bikes back to the meeting point. It's an amazing experience and we really enjoyed the trip. We highly recommended this company to everyone coming to discover the real Morocco and learn about Berber and nomads.

With fond memories, we booked this short 5 day trip from Marrakech and, have seen and experienced a lot of Marocco. The places we visit were incredible and the views were breathtaking. The overnight in the Sahara Desert was our highlights and we really loved the stars, the music around the fire, camel riding and the sunset through the dunes. Words can't describe how amazing this company is! We used them for our 5-day trip with more than 7 different activities. The booking was very easy via WhatsApp and we make a deposit through PaayPal. On the first day of our trip, the guide picked us up from the hotel and started the adventure to the Mountains. We had horseback riding, hiking, quad biking which was the best part with the sandboarding, camel riding and more. I definitely will recommend them.

We took Youssef and SaharaRiders for our 5-day trip starting from Marrakech to Merzouga to Fez including four hours hiking in Dades Gorge which was just amazing. The trip was a fantastic thanks to our driver who is an expert and the right person to travel with, out of the cities, see some of the Moroccan countrysides, and experience Moroccan culture. Youssef, was an amazing friend not really a tour guide after we start the tour. He is extremely knowledgable, friendly and funny, and made the trip a great time for all of us, we learned a lot about the locals, religion, culture, history, and politic. His car was very comfortable, and we could use the air conditioning any time we want. He took us in a hike for 4hours in one of the best Gorge in Morocco, we really loved to visiting of the nomad family in their cave which gave us a real and authentic experience about Morocco. The highlight was the camel ride out to the desert camp, enjoy the stars, tried tasty food and met locals. I will come back and will use the same tour company!

We have just come back from our adventure trip in Morocco and was one of the greatest experiences in my life! We took a 5 day trip from Marrakech and is worth traveling for everyone looking for some adventure, astonishing landscapes and interested in Morocco’s culture, history and a lot of information offered by an expert local guide! We booked a 5 day trip with Sahara Riders including more than 5 activities(camel riding, quad biking, trekking, horse riding and sandboarding). The pick up was in perfect time by a excellent driver/guide Mohamed. Visiting the local family in their cave and share the tea with them was the best part on this trip. The overnight in the tent was so cold, is really advised to bring clothes for the cold. Hope to come back soon and will use the same company!!

Me and my friends did the 5 active day trip from Marrakech to Merzouga desert. We did so many activities that we couldn't find with different other companies in Marrakech. We started with the horse ride, hiking and trekking in Dades Valley, climbing with Hassan in Todra gorges and quad biking with the camel riding the Sahara desert. We had a fantastic time with our guide Youssef who made our trip a memorable experiences. We learned so many things about Moroccan culture and history. We had even a chance to meet a local family that still living in a cave which was one of our best experience we had. The camel guide Ali, was so funny and we really a great time in the desert camp. I would highly recommend this tour company, especially for adventures experience!!

Our Sahara Trip was one of the best thrilling experiences one must visit when in Morocco. From Fes to Marrakech though amazing Atlas Mountains. Since we arrived late to Merzouga desert, we decided to drive to our campsite on a Land Cruiser to enjoy the sunset in the dunes. The Sahara overnight, was the highlighs of our trip to Morocco and which we had more time to spend few nights with Berbers. I booked the 5 day trip for a solo traveler starting from Marrakech. It was more than what I expected especially since I was alone in this African country. I sent a deposit to secure my booking via PayPal and the rest was on cash to my driver/guide on the first day of the tour. I loved everything on the itinerary, and the Sahara desert experience was my best part of the tour since it was totaly different, the stars, friendly people and great food. I wish I had more time to spend more days in the Sahara desert even the weather was cold on that night.
