Great group to spend a morning with! We had fun, learned a lot and enjoyed the geysers. Emily Jo was knowledgeable and an excellent guide.

We are avid hikers but had never tried a guide hike before. We met Jackie at 8:00 and for the next 6 hours we’re treated to wonderful conversation and great local knowledge. We also enjoyed wonderful timing to view a variety of erupting geysers. Definitely recommend

We really did not know what to expect for the tour (even though the site made it sound pretty good), but Emily Jo made the hike/tour an awesome experience and so much fun! Neither of us can imagine getting a more experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly guide. And we felt very safe. The hike through the park is good exercise and a good length. But all the geysers and pools are amazing! This was our first trip to Yellowstone, and it is as wonderful as everyone says. Thank you for making our trip well worth it. We strongly recommend the Geyser Tour, especially if you can get Emily Jo as a guide. Thank you again.

This was a really fun tour and very informative. Having a great guid to explain the history behind each Geyser and hot springs was so worth the experience. Emily Jo our guide was great. Great hike and geyser tour. Our guide Alex was well prepared and made sure we got the most out of our tour. Adjusted our times to be sure we saw the eruptions, very knowledgeable and great balance between hike, education and sites. Medium hard hike but long (6 miles) with some elevation so be prepared for the walk. Highly recommend.

We took this trip with Chris as our guide and it was FANTASTIC!!! He was super knowledgeable about the park, geysers, animals, plants and whole lot others. He was also so well prepared (food, water, sunscreen, bug spray, bear spray, etc.) and was very pleasant and accommodating. We learned so much, saw a lot and had amazing time! Thank you Chris!!! Your students are sure lucky to have you as their science teacher. I highly recommend this trip to anyone.

This was a very comprehensive tour of the geyser basin area! Our tour guide Jake did a great job of not only giving us the facts about the the various features of the tour, but also some really interesting back history of the region and the park itself. We did this tour on our first day in the park, so Jake was able to recommend some other areas and attractions to see. Plus, we were lucky enough to see Old Faithful erupt not once, but twice from different vantage points.

The hike was really not a hike! It was mostly walking around the boardwalk of the Upper Basin. The hike to the observation point for Old Faithful was something you could do yourself since out guide had very limited basic knowledge. Also since we carried our own lunch it was nit kept cold and it was a plain turkey sandwich with no condiments.

We both really enjoyed our Geyser Tour with Chris. He was a very good guide, very friendly, and gave us time to check out each of the geysers/pools throughout our tour. He had supplies for everyone (snacks, water, sunscreen) and when it began to rain he asked if anyone needed a poncho. He was a very good host for our group. One of the highlights of our time at Yellowstone was this tour, and we would recommend anyone to take time for this tour. 5/5

We had an amazing experience! Chris, our guide, was very knowledgeable, easy going, and had a great sense of humor. We saw a unique view of Old Faithful from above, which was a much better experience than being squeezed in with tourists at the lodge. Somehow we managed to see 7 geyser eruptions- including Goggles, grotto, grotto fountain , and Beehive. Part of our success was shear luck but also thanks to Chris checking the app and listening to the unofficial "geyser watchers" in the park. An awesome family experience!

Mystic and Mark did a great job showing us around the park. They were very patient with us. They didn't leave us behind at any point. They were very personable and knowledgeable. We would recommend them highly.

Our family had a great tour with Josh around the Upper Geyser Basin. Josh is enthusiastic and passionate about Yellowstone - he knew all about the history, geology, flora and fauna of the park, and, importantly, he knew when special geysers would erupt (like Riverside Geyser, our favorite!) and he would be sure we were there to see it. If we had done the same walk by ourselves we would not have had the same informative and thorough experience as we had with Josh.

Alex was an excellent guide. She was very passionate about Yellowstone in general and she was very knowledgeable about so many subjects regarding the park and its habitat. We saw a bison about 10 minutes into our walk that was very close to our trail, but thankfully he was not interested in us and never lifted his head off the ground from eating. She was so excited to see certain geysers erupt that normally are not regular "eruptors". Our lunch (which you individually carry your own) was very tasty and filling. She offered walking sticks and backpacks if you wanted them. We were allowed time to explore the Old Faithful Lodge Inn which was really cool and allowed us time to watch Old Faithful erupt! We ended up walking 7.5miles, but only because it was 4 of us and we were all good hikers. I would highly recommend this hike!

Marissa was informative and entertaining. A lively day seeing a multitude of geysers, rivers and wildlife. I would recommend this tour to any park enthusiast.

Marissa was our guide and she was amazing! Very enthusiastic and knowledgable. She took time to explain history, geology, animals in the park and their different tracks, mating rituals, and habits. We saw bison, eagles, chipmunks, coyotee and ravens. Her timing of the geysers was spot on. We hiked a bit over 6 miles with very little elevation change. The lunch provided was tasty and fresh. I highly recommend Yellowstone Hiking Guides. We saw so much more with a guide then we would have seen (or learned) on our own.

Our tour guide Marisa was absolutely amazing and super knowledgeable not only about geysers but Yellowstone in general. More then worth the money. The hike was pretty easy too, just make sure to take plenty of water and apply sunscreen before you go.
