Serengeti Wakanda ensured we had a trip of a lifetime. The whole experience was seamless from beginning to end - Starting with the quote process and having all my questions answered, I was impressed with the promptness of the responses from Aishwarya and her collaboration to make the tour customized to our needs; continuing to a relaxing and seamless tour; and ending with a very thoughtful personalized gifts and it has been a very good experience from beginning to end. Our tour took us to Tarangire National Park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro (staying the majority of the time at Serengeti). An important factor to making a safari trip great is the tour guide. We were incredibly lucky to have Bashir as our guide! He knew the lay of the parks so well and had a deep understanding of animal patterns and behavior (which meant he knew where to take the jeep next, or tell us what to patiently watch out for!). He was also very persistent, which enabled us to see various animals. We stayed at some of the best locations during our trip including Sametu Camp in Serengeti (which was in the heard of the park) and Lion’s Paw in Ngorongoro. Serengeti Wakanda exceeded our expectations in every way!

We couldn't have dreamed of it better. We saw all the big five animals, and even saw a leopard twice. Andrew and Dullah were so amazing that after 6 days it was hard to say goodbye. Andrew has a wealth of knowledge about each animal and Tanzania. Dullah prepares amazing and huge meals. The excellent tour plan allowed us to enjoy the Safari to the fullest. They will adapt to all your needs.

We booked our safari with Wakanda after reading the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Our guide and driver Felix was very experienced and was amazing at spotting animals. We saw the big 5 and many more animals thanks to his skills. He was also a very safe and secure driver and was very informative, answering all our questions skilfully and professionally. He was considerate of our needs and wants and is the best guide we've ever had on a trip. The biggest surprise of this safari however was the food: the "master chef" as we came to call him, Abdullah, was absolutely amazing: he prepared restaurant level meals three times a day for us, with the best fresh baked bread we ever tasted, with amazing sauces and with dessert each time, somehow doing this all in small field kitchens where I could not even manage to fry an egg. We were totally blown away by the quality and amount of food on this "budget" safari. Most other groups had small packed lunchboxes where we were getting full three course meals. Sleeping in the tent among the animals was also quite an experience! The tents are large enough to stand up in and the sleeping mats are more than comfortable enough. Communication with the head office was also very clear, by email and WhatsApp. All around this was definitely an amazing experience that surpassed our expectations and we would wholeheartedly recommend going with Wakanda for your safari, you will not be disappointed. The price was also very much competitive. Wakanda forever!

Well.. everything was just so amazing throughout the tour. The guides giving us a very detailed explanations over animals, history of Tanzania and everything helped us enjoy the stay very much! And we were very lucky enough to see the Big Five during our stay( not once, many many times!!) We better come back and feel the king of the nature very soon. We had a wonderful 6-day adventure with Wakanda tours this December. Our tour guide Andrew went over and out to make the most of our trip. Even though it rained for a few days, we felt like we didn’t miss any of the magic of the nature of Tanzania. Our chef Dullah made sure we didn’t go hungry during the busy days. The food was plentiful and mouth-wateringly delicious. I would definitely recommend choosing Wakanda tours and safaris if you are planning on going on a safari in Tanzania.

The service in the tour was great. Everybody was kind and if you needed something you did get it. Our tour guide Andrew was amazing. He was as excited as we were. Our cook, Dula, made great foods and they were versatile. Overall, the tour was great experience.

It was really easy to book the safari and ask for more information about it. Communication was really fast around the clock and we got great tips and packing lists. The guide and cook and other staff were all amazing and we really got value for our money. Wakanda tours is reliable and will make sure you get the best safari experience possible.

We did a custom 6 day/5 night safari tour with Andrew as our guide who was truly fantastic. We saw lots of animals across 3 parks and stayed at 3 different lodges. Andrew was an incredibly skilled driver with a great eye for spotting animals and a deep knowledge base. He also allowed to us plan each day with flexibility. What an incredible experience. The safari went beyond our expectations and we would absolutely recommend a safari with Benji (driver and guide) and Machete (chef). Benji was so knowledgeable and fun as a guide, he knew all the best places to see every animal we hoped to see and to get the best angles for photos. Machete's food was sublime for every single meal, with local and international delicacies. They both made our trip the amazing, once in a lifetime experience that it was. Camping in the wild of the Serengeti and Ngorongoro national parks made this a very special tour.

As former wildlife guides ourselves, we cannot recommend Serengeti Wakanda enough. We did a 6 day private camping safari with Wakanda. Our guide and driver Andrew was among the best guides we have ever seen. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, a natural storyteller, and above all, knew the Serengeti like the back of his hand, having been born and raised in the region. The wildlife viewing was spectacular (including seeing the Big 5) but what set this trip apart from other companies who offer the same wildlife possibilities, but that he was always willing to go the extra mile for us to try and find animals away from the crowds, be among the first jeep in line every morning, and was able to spot wildlife for us that most other jeeps missed. You can tell right away that he is a leader in the community of guides and that guides from other companies look up to him for his deep knowledge and experience in the area. Like many people, researching who to book your safari with is incredibly daunting (it was for us). But what we have learned along the way is that the one of the most important factors you should consider is to book your safari with a company such as Serengeti Wakanda that is completely locally owned and operated. All your money will be staying in Tanzania and not into the pockets of foreign owners. This fact alone benefits so many people, from the guides and chefs to all of the supporting staff, food producers, and businesses that rely on tourism for a living. There are really too many reasons to write down why we would not hesitate to recommend this company, from the amazing food we received from chef Nsanya, excellent communication from the owner Barthos, and the friendliness of everyone we encountered along the way. But if you’re looking for a locally owned and operated company that will deliver a trip that is a tier above the rest, then Andrew and Serengeti Wakanda are a must. We had an incredible safari. Our guide Felix looked after us so well and we learned a lot about the animals, nature and also about the country. This once in a lifetime journey was way more than I even dreamed. The open parks, the free range animals in their natural habitat, I enjoyed every minute of the 6 days Safari. Wakanda Tours was the cheapest 6-day safari offer that we found. Still everything was perfect. Communication was easy, they always showed up on time and delivered everything as promised. Our driver/guide (ask for Ezekiel!) was the safest driver I experienced in Tanzania and the best guide I can imagine. Just very friendly, kind and always helpful. The food was always tasty. The tour itself was great. Nature and wildlife of Serengeti, Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro are incredibly beautiful.

Serengeti Wakanda Tours have been absolutely wonderful. From day 1, the communication with Bartho was quick and informative. He was able to answer all our questions in the lead up to our safari holiday. The Safari itself was absolutely incredible. We did the 6 day camping and lodge safari and everyday was an exciting new adventure. The main reason for this was our tour guide, Mandela! We couldn’t have asked for anyone better! His wisdom and passion for nature and animals shines through, which made our experience particularly special. He made sure our whole experience from dusk until dawn was 10/10, and it absolutely was! Thank you for everything Mandela! We also had the pleasure to have Machete as our cook and all we can say is: WOW! He kept us well fed with delicious food throughout the whole six days; breakfast, lunch and dinner! He even baked a delicious cake on the top of the Ngorongoro crater! Our 6 days safari with Serengeti Wakanda was an absolute blast! Thanks to our super guide Felix and his experience we saw all the Big 5 (including the black rhino in Serengeti, which is extremely rare - there are only 14 in the park) and even cheetas. It really seemed that everywhere we went there were animals waiting for us. Felix was very knowledgeable about all the animals and their behavior and his explanations made the whole experience even more memorable. The tent/camping equipment was very comfortable and our chef Doula was making sure we had a 5-star dining experience at every meal (with fresh bread baked daily even in the camp in the middle of Serengeti/Ngorongoro). We had a home cooked meal every day at lunch which we took at picnic sites in the various parks, and all the other safari groups with sad looking lunch boxes were very envious! Cherry on the cake, we were proud to support a local safari company!
