Really enjoyed this day tour. Krista was excellent and made everyone welcome. Highly recommend, go and book it, as there are limited spaces on the mini bus.

Krista provided an excellent tour to the hill of crosses for the 4 of us. She gave a lot of explanations, took photos for us; thanks also for the latvian chocolate and Riga black. I highly recommend this tour, when staying in Riga. You can even see a lot of different animals, at least we did.

Fantastic experience with a fantastic tour guide! Krista (Latvian Gem) was so hospitable and her knowledge second-to-none! Not only were we given such an informative tour of the Hill of Crosses (which was well worth a visit), Krista gave us so much insight into Baltic life and culture — the kind only a local would know. The Hill of Crosses was a sight to behold, a very unique place that even the non-religious can appreciate. The location is peaceful and set among the rolling green countryside. April was the perfect time to visit, as it wasn’t too cold or too busy. We were given an hour at the Hill which was plenty of time. Krista’s extra knowledge made even the 2-hour journey so worthwhile, and as well as stopping at the border for photographs, because the roads were so quiet, Krista also let us have a brief stop in Jelgava and a drive by Rundale palace. Thank you Krista, for your warmth, friendliness and for such a rich experience! Would 100% recommend.

Pretty straightforward tour. Janis was our tour guide, very kind and knowledgeable. The site was bigger than anticipated. An hour was a good amount of time to look around. Would recommend this tour.

Wonderful experience with our tour guide and Latvian Gem. Easy booking and very laid back day. He was knowledgeable, down to earth and fun to spend the day with. We stopped at a few places along the way and he took us around a couple of unique places in Riga before the day was done. Highly recommended.

Krista was an amazing guide! From pickup to drop off it was a really friendly and fun experience. The drive to and from is a great time to take in the countryside of Latvia and Lithuania and Krista has lots of great stories and information about the area to share. She was very attentive and offered plenty of opportunities to get lots out of the trip outside on the way to the hill of crosses. The hill of crosses is a beautiful place and it's lovely to get to contribute a cross to the site. I'd greatly recommend this to everyone

The trip was lovely. We had a fantastic guide! Krista was very informative telling us local information about the areas as we padt the. She informed us about the pune forest and the karch growth as well as local foraging. we went to The hill of the crosses may not be to everyone's taste but to see more of beautiful Latvia it was worth it. If you want calm and mindfulness this is a trip you should most definitely do. The hill itself is unique and in the morning there was magic in the air and we were very lucky to have the space to ourselves. On the way back to Riga we had a stop in Jelgava. That is a unique tour but with Krista it was very memorable.

Utterly weird, but fascinating destination. Janis was lovely and the whole trip was absolutely worth it. Crossing the border is a bonus.

We normally dont do private tours like this, but this one might change that in the future. We had a wonderful time with Krista. We got interesting facts about Riga, Jelgava and the Hill of crosses, but what we found even more special were the insights on Baltic and Latvian culture. The Trip was entertaining and the conversation was easy. We really recommend doing this tour or any other tour with Krista.

A very ingteresting place; a visit is highly recommended. Sintia was a really good guide. She was on time, communicative and good at describing the stops along the way, and explaining their history.

Amazing all round, our guide Jānis was knowledgeable, considerate and very patient. Such a good trip and seeing the outskirts of riga was also well worth the trip.
