I cannot recommend this tour more highly. Panos, our captain, was warm and hospitable and extremely knowledgeable. Seeing Santorini and the surrounding areas by boat was a real treat. He even served us lunch which was amazing as well. If you want a private tour on the water in Santorini then look no further. You will not find a better one than this.

This experience was our favorite thing we did in Greece! Panos was amazing! He explained the history of Santorini to us in detail and I learned things I would have never known if it wasn’t for him! This boating experience was so incredible and we will remember it for a lifetime. Swimming in the volcanic water and watching the sunset from sea is something I will never forget! This was by far better than doing a group boat and was an unforgettable experience for our honeymoon. The authentic Greek food served on the boat was great as well. Panos took wonderful care of us and I would 10/10 recommend booking with him!

Skipper Panos on The Alex is a once in a lifetime experience!! The beauty of the coldrum at Santorini with an incredible tour guide who explains the beautiful history of the island and volcano. An excellent lunch aboard The Alex, swimming in the volcano, avoiding the lift are all reasons to choose this tour!! Honestly, one of the best days that I have spent in over 40 cruises!! The hospitality was awesome, communication was excellent and the value for the dollar spent was extremely fair. Skipper Panos, The Alex and First Mate Alex exceeded my expectations!!

Exactly what we wanted! We were in Santorini for a short time only on a cruise, and this was a great option to avoid the cable car crowds and relax and explore the caldera and its islands. A comfortable private boat collected us right on schedule from the old port next to where the tenders drop off. Our captain, Panos, was an excellent guide, giving us a thorough explanation of the volcanic history of the island and current activity. Our first stop was at the hot sulphur springs which was really a lovely experience. I was not feeling that great so a swim in the warm mineral rich water was very therapeutic. Panos got us there before any of the big tour boats so we had it all to ourselves which was very peaceful. We continued along the inside of the caldera to see the amazing volcanic formations and stopped at the mouth of a cave for a swim in the crystal clear water. We then explored the coastline around Therasia island and moored there for a shallow snorkel and a delicious lunch made by Pamos' neighbour. He served a tasty local white wine to go with it. After lunch we cruised past Fira and headed back to be dropped off at the old port right next to our ship tender. This was a great trip to make the most of our limited time in Santorini without any stress. It was so relaxing to be driven around on the water and watch the whole caldera pass us by. 5 hours went very quickly, we could have stayed on board all day. Panos is great company without being intrusive and is a very proficient skipper. This trip is highly recommended if you are the type of traveller that likes privacy, relaxation and personal attention - we are so glad we chose this trip and it was worth every penny.

Panos and Alex had a great knowledge of the area and took us to very scenic and interesting parts of the caldera. Panos is vey safety minded so we felt very comfortable with out four kids (teenagers). The lunch provided was delicious and all locally produced. The boat tour was the highlight of our trip to Santorini!!

We had the most memorable experience of our entire trip. Panos our captain and Alex his second hand, gave us a very in depth and unique and informative experience that I am sure we would not have received in another tour. He and Alex are local and you can tell they know the island and region like the back their hand. Panos has so much knowledge of the history of Santorini and how the island (caldera) formed and changed over time. The food and service was fantastic with local wine traditional Greek food. We had amazing swims in the warm volcanic heated waters as well as some other areas with the most amazing views. They both really love what they do and it showed. We would recommend this experience to everyone. 5 stars!

Had a great time on our PRIVATE boat tour! Don't let those pictures of the shared tours fool you. They show their decks with a few passengers here and there but that is false. We saw plenty there wear packed with people. I'm sure they had a lot of fun too, but I can tell you that if you a have a group of around 6, go with this private tour. We saw some amazing sights and had plenty time to swim in the crystal clear waters. The most amazing part was seeing the sunset. We were not rushed and the boat gave several turns to give us the best angles for a great view and pictures. The food provided was also delicious and for sure tasted home made. I believe this was top 3 of many wonderful experiences on our trip.

We enjoyed a five hour sunset cruise with Panos and his first mate Alex. Both gentlemen were super kind and, especially Panos the captain, went out of his way to bring us to the absolute best swimming spots and views of the island. We enjoyed some wonderful Greek foods and wines and saw one of the most spectacular sunsets ever. We would absolutely do this tour again.

Our boat tour with Panos and Alex was absolutely incredible! The best possible day we could imagine - seeing the beautiful island of Santorini from the sea and learning about the history and science of this volcanic island was absolutely amazing! Swimming spots were enjoyed immensely and the cliff jumping was one of my kids favorite activities! The food was beyond delicious and so fresh! This was definitely the highlight of our trip!

After researching the huge variety of boat tours offered on Santorini we opted for a private tour. From the initial contact with Panos our skipper everything was just perfect! With WhatsApp messages confirming everything well in advance and the day before when we checked weather conditions. The private tour meant we could choose where to go and how long to stay at each location. Panos’s enthusiasm and passion for his homeland were apparent right from the moment we met him. His knowledge and understanding of the islands history and geography were captivating and easily understood. His young crewman Alex was always on hand with water and wine and kept our glasses filled! Nothing eas too much trouble. As we were staying in Oia after we’d watched the sun setting we asked Panos if we could be dropped at the old port in Oia which meant a challenging walk back to the village but didn’t take too long! And a welcome cocktail when we reached the top was our reward! A huge thanks to Panos and Alex for a memorable trip and one we’d highly recommend during a visit to Santorini!

If you can only do one thing in Santorini, this is it. Beautiful day excellent service great food overall amazing experience. You get a viewpoint of the island that few will see. Our guide Yanis was able to tell us so much about the formation of the island and the volcanos history. Swimming in the volcanic, Hot Springs was truly a once in a lifetime experience. The food he made for us himself was delicious. And authentic. And seeing the sunset from the ocean was magical. Plus if you are on a cruise excursion, this tour leaves from the tender port so you don’t have to deal with the cable car at all. Highly recommend.

What an incredible experience! Panos and Alex were friendly, helpful and truly set up an amazing day on the sea. We all loved a bit of history of the island and we could truly tell how passionate Panos was about his home! We swam in the hot springs and explored a secluded, gorgeous beach, ate heavenly, local cuisine made by a local and took several dips in the majestic waters. Definitely book with these amazing guides!

This was a great tour from start to finish. Captain Panos and First Mate Alex were a pleasure, and took great care to ensure we had a wonderful day of boating and swimming. The authentic lunch was equally amazing and 100% better than expected.
