We had the best time at the Safari ! Our guide Mandela could give us an answer to literally every of our questions m. He is a very passionate, cool and friendly person. Also the food was gorgeous!! Every day different dishes with fresh ingredients. It was a daily fiast :) All in all we had the best time !! Can 100% recommend!

We went on the Kilimanjaro tour and did a 5 day safari. Had the best time on the mountain with our guides Freddy and Augustin. The safari was awesome. Very luxurious camping delicious food and Mandela (guide) and James (chef) took great care of us.

The experience was simply out of this world! Rocky - our guide - was very knowledgeable and most of all a great companion throughout the whole trip. I can’t stress enough how good the food was and for that I thank Salim. Go for the 5 day experience and you will have the best days of your life.

From the 4 campsites, only the one on the second day (Serengete), the shower had cold water. The hotels were excellent. We had an incredible safari with Suricata Safaris and I could go on for ever but will try to keep it simple. The biggest surprise for me was that this isn't a typical run of the mill tourist venture with minimal staff training. Our cook Salim was a qualified chef and prepared 3 fresh meals a day for us. This wasn't sandwiches and packet food but fresh fruit and cooked meals at every sitting (also some very tasty traditional dishes) which made us feel like we all left a little healthier. Our guide Frederick was a complete professional and had a wealth of knowledge. It came as no surprise that he had 9 years of expierence as a guide but also had completed years of post graduate education prior to becoming a guide. His knowledge of the plants and animals was incredible and we were learning knew facts and behavioural traits of the same animals right up to the end of the safari. Not only that but his knowledge of Tanzania itself including the history, geography, the people and the politics amazed me and left me a little embarrassed by a lesser understanding of my own country Australia. Maybe others won't have the same expierence that we had as timing and a bit of luck comes into it so do your homework. Regardless of this you can't take away from the professionalism of the operation from the guides and cooks to the logistics involved behind the scenes so if you are questioning whether it's worth the money, it is. If you are as lucky as us to have an incredible guide and cook be sure to tip generiously. Why? You have to remember you are going on a multi-day safari in remote areas full of incredible but also some very dangerous animals and these people are not only responsible for your welfare but also your overall enjoyment and expierience so they are worth every cent of a generous tip. They do their job well. I would also like to suggest that you take some small notes (1$) to give to the various people behind the scenes manning the toilets and camp sites. This money not only goes a lot further for them than it does for most of us in our own respective countries but also encourages them in the work of supporting the safari industry in Tanzania for without it the wildlife and parks would cease to exist.

This 5 day safari was the adventure of a lifetime and I have absolutely NO complaints. Fred is an amazing person who is an incredibly experienced and knowledgeable guide. Our family of five were also very well fed by our friendly Chef Salim who cooked delicious food for every meal. Fred and Salim taught us much about their beautiful country and nothing was too much trouble for either of them. The entire outfit was very professional from the time we were collected by Daniel at the airport to the time we were dropped back. The opportunity to experience such a variety of wildlife in their natural habitat is something I will never forget and it was made all the more memorable by Suricata Safaris. Had an amazing safari experience through Suricata Safaris. Fred was our guide and he was a consummate professional and extremely friendly and accommodating towards myself and my family. He was very knowledgeable with the wildlife, national parks and flora/fauna. We also had Salim as our chef for the trip and he was also another consummate professional and extremely kind human being. He made us beautiful meals and also provided an exotic variety of different meals and dishes that were cooked to perfection. We really lucked out to have both Fred and Salim and I would highly recommend them for anyone wishing to experience a wholesome and informative safari adventure.

Wonderful parks made even better by our tour guide, Damien. Super friendly, kind and very knowledgeable. There was good chemistry and we trusted him throughout the journey. Thanks to him, we stayed at charming tented lodges that immersed us in the nature.

The moment you arrive in Arusha, Suricata Safari took care of us. There is nothing additional to organize for you, like shuttles from A to B, camping equipment or food. I’ve been accompanied by two age +50 family members and there had their concerns about African food, mosquitos, quality of sleeping in a tent and personal hygienes. I can tell you that all of us were fully satisfied and all concerned we had were unfounded. The safari itself is always unique and depends on what nature offers you. We were lucky and have seen everything we wanted to see. Thanks to our guide Damian and the excellent chef. I did a lot of research about several companies that offer safaris and I am happy with my decision to chose suricata safaris.

All 5 days were extraordinary, we saw 4 of the big 5 animals, we saw many animals up close, the hotels and tend camping were great with good food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. our guide Rocky was fantastic!

From booking, to the pickup at the airport - and finally during our safari, everything was super easy and professional. We had probably the best safari guide one can imagine - Rocky! He was a great driver and knew so much about the wildlife, culture, Tanzania and made sure everyone was getting the most out of their safari! I‘ll highly recommend a Safari with Rocky!

I booked my safari 3 days prior and I can't be happier. The efficiency answering the emails, WhatsApps was what gave me the good feeling to book with them. It's a really good price for the service you receive. We enjoy the 5 day safari with Mandella and the wildness in its best. The hotels and lodges in the national parks and in Arusha were really good specially the new lodge SURICATA BOMA which has the best sunset views by the pool. Suricata was very amenable and responsive to some small changes we requested for the tour, and the service was always very professional! Our guide Ezekiel for safari was fantastic - he knew the parks like the back of his hand and how find all the animals and was so quick with bird identification too. He was intuitive on when we were ready to move on to a new spot and when to give explanations and when to quietly enjoy the animal movements. Suricata put us in their brand new Boma Lodge on Lake Manyara - it was gorgeous. Staff at all stops were very friendly and generous to give us the best experience. For example, it got very cold at night at Angata Camp at the top of Ngorongoro and there were hot water bottles put in our bed - perfect touch! Food was excellent throughout the trip. Suricata is local company and dedicated to providing a top quality service. I highly recommend them.

Suricata made my trip to Tanzania wonderful! Starting from the first contact via whatsapp with Hilary who was very polite and present every time we need or any time we had any doubt about the trip. So we arrived in Kilimanjaro airport and they picked us up, even after our flight were delaied. We made a 5 day safari with Mandela, who were a perfect guide, and Tito, who cooked every day for us a perfect meal. And at the end we received all help from Ally, who was very professional solving any kind of problem

This was my first safari and I really enjoyed it. Everything was perfectly organized. Special thanks to Hilary who organized the entire trip and answered all my questions in advance, our guide Max who told us everything about the animals and our cooks Ben and Maleo. A totally worthy trip thanks to the Suricata team. All the time we were in good and caring hands. Our flight to Kilimanjaro Airport got delayed several times and we contacted suricata because our driver was waiting at the airport. Finally after 10 hours out flight departured and when we arrived the driver still was there when we came out of the airport. The first good and trustful experience in Tansania, thanks to suricata and not the airline. The next day we started our first day Safari. Our driver and guide brought us to Tarangire - there we already saw buffalos and elephants (2 of 5). The next day we went to Lake Manyara National Park where are many baboons and blue monkeys, our first lion (3 of 5) and also elephants. We stayed at their new build Suricata Buma Lodge at the manyara Lake. Beautiful hats and fantastic view. On the third day we drove to Serengeti, it rained for 1-2 hours but then the beauty of the Serengeti come to shine. Very wide landship and we got to saw leopards (4 of 5), lions, hippos, giraffes, hyenas, wildbeests, zebras. We stayed at the Ang‘ata tented lodge, where you can hear at night all the animals. One hippo was also very close to our tent and we could see the foot tracks the next day. The next day we spend also in the Serengeti, sawing cheetahs, crocodiles. Tortilis tented lodge was our camp and it was a similar experience to Ang‘ata. The final day we spend the morning ours at the Ngouro Ngouro crater and missed the rhino. So 4 out of 5 is quite good but the best part were the tanzanian people. Always happy, always kind and helpful not under the best living circumstances related to European living standards. Our driver and guide Silas become my brother from an African mother, the manager Ally is a go to guy, if you have a problem he will solve it. To sum it up: if you plan a Safari: only with Suricata! Hakuna Matata ✌🏼

We had amazing time in our tour with Suricata. The tour was really well organized, from the pick up to the drop off at the end. The food was really good and always an hot meal was prepared for us. The camping of the first and last night was really good, the other 2 nights we were too many and the hot shower was not working. The guide was super knowledgeable and always available for any need. I can only truly recommend Suricata to have the best safari experience without worries! At the end it is always warm in Tanzania, so no need for the hot shower ;)
