We had an amazing 4 hour twizzy tour with Daniel today. We learnt so much about the local area, history and culture. Daniel is very knowledgeable and the Twizzy”s are great fun. An amazing way to learn a little about the area.

Daniel was awesome. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We learned quite a bit and driving the cars through the villages was quite fun.

Amazing experience. Honestly tour guides tend not to be my personal go to but this tour guide is and was amazing. Really informative and interesting, it’s not always what’s said but how it’s said and he was very passionate about sharing his knowledge. The drive was phenomenal, great scenery and it brings you closer to Tenerife. Out of all of my holidays this will definitely be the best memory all thanks to the tour guide. I would seriously recommend this to everyone (and I’m not one to really write reviews so just know that this was great). Great communication and fast replies also. The best possible experience.

Driving the Twizy was fun, Daniel was so knowledgeable gave us so much information on all the towns and history of Tenereife. He showed us the many Plantos (banana) fields, almond trees, prickly pear, mango trees. We drove up the mountain and saw the volcanic rock on the side of road. We had a few hospitality stops, great coffee, great sites. We highly recommend this tour and thank you Daniel we loved your tour.

I have decided to make a visit to Tenerife to experience one of the islands, but also to experience another Twizy tour, similar to the ones I did over in Malaga previously, but this time with a different setting. The tour was done around the southwestern part of the island, which included a stop at one of the banana plantations, as well as stops in various villages, including looking at one of the churches, a village festival and to sample the local coffee. At one point the tour went through El Chinyero’s lava fields, which were formed in 1909 as a result of the El Chinyero volcano eruption that year. The lava fields look very mars-like, and therefore a perfect setting given the Twizy looks like a space buggy with sci-fi, frutiger aero bubble-like styling. (pov: on a mars mission, except this is in a lava field in El Chinyero) Not only did the guide lead me through some of the finest and mesmerising views of the island while driving, there were also a wide variety of road conditions as well, an ideal opportunity to put one's EV driving skills to the test. The downhill sections of the tour route were also ideal for practicing regenerative braking, where the power that would otherwise be used for driving the wheels is sent back to the battery. This tour is ideal for those who have never driven electric before but want to experiment with it, or anyone who has already driven electric but intent on sharpening their skills. It is also ideal for anyone wanting a completely different tour experience away from the crowds while also minimising their environmental impact. Whatever the reason for doing the tour, fantastic views and an in-depth experience of the island’s culture is guaranteed. Many thanks and respect to Dani and the team for the fantastic experience!

Booked the Twizzy safari as surprise for my Dad who was celebrating his 80th Birthday. It was perfect & our party of 8 throughly enjoyed it. Dani was a fabulous guide & we learnt so much about the Island history & visit places we would never have found. Dani even provided surprise birthday cake. 5* Highly recommend

What an amazing and memorable day out! We booked the tour before we arrived in Tenerife, as we saw the good reviews and didn’t want to miss out - and so glad we did. The tour was excellent - fun, eco friendly cars and an opportunity to see parts of the island you might otherwise miss. The tour guide - Daniel - was incredible. Super friendly, and an encyclopaedic knowledge of Tenerife and its’ history, and with a way of imparting knowledge that makes it incredibly easy to understand and absorb - I am sure he would make a fantastic teacher. He also has an amazing grasp of languages, so no-one on in small tour group felt left out. I would definitely recommend doing this tour - it’s worth every penny!

Fun safe way to see part of Tenerife. Good for all ages as long as you can drive. Daniel knowledgable and made sure all ok and all together during drive. Cars easy to drive . Interesting stops. Definitely recommend. Loved it .

Brilliant tour from start to finish, we were contacted ahead of the tour with instructions on where to meet Dan to begin the tour. The Twizys were really fun to drive and Dan is a brilliant tour guide, really knowledgeable on the island and its history. Loads of great sights to see, we stopped for a delicious Canarian coffee and a great view! We travelled higher up the mountains and it was great to see another side of southern Tenerife and fun drive coming back down! Highly recommend doing this tour, we had so much fun and even learned some new things too!

A really great way to explore the less touristy parts of the Southern side of Tenarife. Alex, our guide was amazing, knowledgeable - very hands on, and considerate of everyone. So long as rising for a 9am start time from the meeting location isn’t an issue for anyone - it’s a great value and a well-paced mini adventure with great photo opportunities, and a chance to learn a lot of the cultural and geological history of Tenerife.

Return customers. Dan is very knowledgeable and entertaining. Great to learn about the history, agriculture /geology. Fun to drive or be passenger in. We travelled with him 5 years ago but base and some of route/stops have been changed. Enjoy a Barquito with a view. Well worth the cost.

Well what a fabulous morning spent in the company of Dani . He gave us a great tour such a nice guy and full of great information and facts about the very beautiful banana plantations on the Island along with some great insights into life on the Island before tourism ! A real eye opener and so cool to hear the stories of past . I would definitely recommend this to anyone coming to the Island as a must do experience. Lava fields were very cool too . And also the cars are fun to drive too. Thanks for your excellent knowledge.

Daniel was an amazing host. The car was electric and easily driven, all instructions were given. The trip was informative with lots of history and culture included. Daniel was very nice and his knowledge of the area was phenomenal. The four hours passed so quickly, highlight of trip was fantastic coffee with even better backdrop for photo opportunity. What a great experience! Dan is a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide, and the Twizy electric ‘car’ is great fun and very easy to drive. We visited a banana plantation, and learned a lot about how they are grown. We had a delightful canarian ‘coffee’ a barraquito, (delicious with spices and just a hint of alcohol). We also drove up into the mountains and had some great views of the different climates of Tenerife. We learned some of the history of the island, and watched a potter making clay bowls using the ancient method. (No potters wheel involved). The four hour trip was over far too quickly. A unique experience and one we’d highly recommend to anyone wanting to see some of the ‘real’ Tenerife! Thanks Dan for making our day so enjoyable and interesting!
