Just want to thanks my guide,Maggie ,for beeing so nice and helpful all day long; The visit of the forbidden city was very interesting with all the explanations Special attention for helping us visit the treasure gallery while it was not planned She also helped me booking a show at the red theater to see the acrobats during the afternoon She was very helpful also booking the taxi for me because it is a bit difficult for a stranger to do it in china She even came with me at the theater and waited until the end to be sure I can book a taxi on my way back to my hotel! Never seen that before! Thanks a lot maggie and see you next time for sure

We went to visit the Forbidden City in Beijing with an English tour guide. Our guide, Lucy, was very kind. She gave us a complete, 4 hours tour of the whole Forbidden City. She’s also specialized in the Forbidden city, so she told us the history and the context behind every single structure and building inside the Forbidden City as well as sharing lots of historical facts and curiosities. After the tour, she took us to eat local food at a nice restaurant she recommended. The food was very good and the price was cheap. Very good price-quality ratio. What is more, she managed to get us tickets to see the Chinese Acrobatic Show the same day! In addition she also helped us book an appointment to see Tian’anmen Square and the National Museum.

The pick up was great as it is early winter and cold. My guide Lucy was a wealth of knowledge and was able to build on my understanding of Chinese culture and knowledge of the Forbidden City. Her English is faultless and I could no task for a better guide. She looked after me and escorted me in a taxi back to my hotel. A perfect tour by an experienced guide!

We walked from our hotel to the Forbidden City. Jeffrey was able to get the impossible tickets and provided valuable insight as we walked around. Plus he got us onto the ramparts which required extra scans and checks.

It was really cold that day, but our guide Lucy kept us warm and entertained with her lively stories about the Forbidden City! We were picked up from our hotel in time and the 4 hours passed by so quickly! Lucy also gave us some great tips of where to go for lunch/dinner and which Hutongs are best to be visited. She sent us the location and was even after the tour available for any questions!

We enjoy this tour very much! Jerry, our guide, was very helpful and thoughtful. He knows a lot about China’s history. He’s funny and knows interesting details about the Forbidden City. He also took us to Tianamen Square which we didn’t expect and it was great! This time of the year is very convenient because there’s not so much people.

We visited the Forbidden City in a group of 6 people with our guide LUCY in English. It is of course a legendary visit not to be missed if you come to Beijing. We are struck by the gigantism and beauty of this palace with 980 buildings. It is possible to visit alone but the guided tour seems essential to me to understand the history, the architecture and the differences between the palaces which sometimes look similar. Our guide LUCY was great, she speaks perfect English, easy to understand, she enhances the visit with many anecdotes and a lot of humor. She manages the purchase of tickets and the verification of passports. In short, we highly recommend this guided tour. Our other favorites in Beijing were the Summer Palace and the Hutongs, the historic districts of the city.

The architecture was awe-inspiring, and the intricate details in the artwork and carvings were mesmerizing.

I went to the Forbidden City on one Sunday with Lory and a small group (four other boys). From an organizational perspective, everything went smoothly as planned. After Lory arrived on site, she explained the history and culture of each attraction well to us. We also had enough time to ask individual questions and take photos. In summary, a very professional tour that I can recommend to everyone.
