Lunch and dinner meals .are buffet and very good, but breakfast can be better The tours to the temple are jam packed with schedules. Some are a bit rush but some others are really enjoyable. I really enjoyed cruising time as its very calm and peaceful

The cruise was well organised, the rooms were good and clean, the food was great and the personal was nice. We were not expecting to wake up everyday so early (around 4-6am). The guide was okay. He was very knowledgeable and was interested in sharing with us the history of Egypt. We didn't like that he sometimes was inpatient and was calling our hotel room even though we asked not to. We didn’t like that they asked us to pay the extra tours with dollars and when we said that we didn’t had us dollars, they did a ridiculous exchange rate to egp. We were able to negotiate the price but it was still high the conversion rate. We are in egypt, they shouldn’t expect for use to carry dollars or they could have told us before the travel. We also didn’t like that we were expected to pay tip to everyone even though we are already paying a good amount of money for the cruise and extra tours.

Karam was a very knowledgeable and kind guide. We ran into some trouble earlier on, but he helped me fix everything. Furthermore, you can ask him anything you'd like and he knows the answer. The Nile Cruise was wonderful aswell, and the food was delicious. Kind people work there and help you out if you need anything.

Although I'm not really a cruise person, I am very satisfied with Karam who made everything run smoothly. As a guide, he also knew everything about the places we visited and arranged extras without any problem. Nice person. Thanks Karam!

We had a great time in our 4day Cruise! It was a unique experience and thanks to our guide Alaaedine,who was very flexible,friendly and extremely helpful, we had the best time! Alaaedine had everything arranged for us, was always there for everything that we needed and gave us a great tour to the ancient and modern Egypt culture. The boat was clean and with very kind and friendly crew and we absolutely enjoyed our relaxing evenings on the deck by the pool! 100% recommended!!! Eleni

We are a group of 7 people who did this Nile cruise with Alaeedin from Travel to Egypt. It was the best decision ever. Egypt is a country with a lot of uncertainties but Alaeedin made us feel safe at all times. He always explained the plan for the day and was flexible asking for our opinion if we wanted to do something differently. He didn’t pressure us at all (something that happens a lot) to make any decisions. No changes to the price or anything weird. He replies very quickly to questions and messages. He has plenty of knowledge about the Egyptian culture and history and he is a very fun guy as well as very respectful! We are very happy to have found Alaeedin and he made the cruise the best part of our trip to Egypt. The cruise was nice and the crew was amazing. I recommend it a 100%! Luis

I spent 4 days on a Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Friends. Our guide was Alaeedin, such an amazing guy, he made our adventure memorable. Good knowledge, he guided us around all the temples and cities that we visited, giving us good information always in a good and enjoyable way. He also made our trip very easy going, finding solutions to our problems and prioritizing our suggestions. Thank you so much Alaeedin, 100% recommended!

It was a great experience. Karam was great, explaining and making sure we make the best of our time. I had a great experience, and saw so wonderful things, and got all the necessary information. It was an amazing journey. And I am recommending it to all my friends to enjoy and discover Egypt in this way!

The boat (Ms Opera) was good. The beds were comfortable, room was clean and had huge windows that could open, and we had a beautiful view the entire journey. The food was also good. The guide (Karam) was a mixed experience. He was very nice when I fell ill, helped by buying medicines, brought me some tea, and was very kind to accomodate the needs of my elderly mother. For example, we could take tuk tuk to the temples instead of horse carriage. We also wanted a relaxing trip, so we didnt do any of the extras and planned a slow n relaxed last day, and the guide was ok with this, which we greatly appreciate. The guide was also very helpful with general things, like when we wanted to buy water, snacks, etc. We booked the extra nubian village tour but couldnt go because I was sick, and he returned 30% of the money, which was nice considering I cancelled last minute. Now on to the downsides. Instead of explaining, the guide had a habit of asking us questions, and then getting very irritated when we cannot answer. Sometimes we couldnt understand his accent, and when we asked him to repeat, he would get visibly annoyed and walk away instead of repeating. On top of that, his explanations were long winded and often irrelevant. A lot of time was wasted that way and he would get very annoyed at us if we preferred to actually look at the beautiful temples instead of listening to his lectures. To make matters worse, he had a habit of explaining things far away from the related feature or inscription, then would not give us time to look at the actual temple. It was almost meaningless to do things like this. We were extremely rushed during the tours. In kom ombo and edfu temple, we were practically running through the temple. Edfu temple is huge, we ran through it in 30 minutes!!! The boat was docked for almost 1 hour after that, there was no need to rush but the guide rushed us like mad. For context, we were often the fastest people at the temple, all other visitors moved at a more normal pace than us. The guide also liked to cut queue n push to the front, even when everyone else is queuing. At edfu temple, he started a fist fight with another guide, trying to cut queue. This was physically dangerous to us. He used my elderly mother as an excuse to cut queues, but really we would have preferred to queue up safely like everyone else. The last day was ok because after we insisted a lot, he slowed down the pace of the tour. Even then, at Karnak temple, he kept insisting on rushing through the temple and got irritated at me for taking photos. He was also smoking inside Luxor temple. The guide's behavior almost spoilt our experience of the temples. Overall i still recommend this viator experience. Its a really good deal for a nice cruise boat. It depends on your luck which guide you will get. The owner of the agency Alaa seemed like a very nice and reasonable man, so contact them after booking to make sure the type of guide suits your needs.

We did the 4-day Nile Cruise with this company and I only have good things to say. The room was great and it had a huge window where you could watch the Nile as you sailed. The beds were comfortable, it was clean, the bathroom was clean, and had a good shower. The room was a big plus. The food was also really good. They had soups every day, a wide selection of meats and vegetables, and nice desserts. I always looked forward to meal times because the food was really good and they had new things each time. The food was a highlight of this trip. Moreover, the convenience of doing the cruise was very valuable. Egypt is a more stressful country to plan if you are not local so the fact that the boat transports you to each major site location, hires cars to take you from place to place, organises the horse carriage to take you to Edfu, etc makes it extremely easy for the weary traveler. Edfu and Kom Ombo are also difficult to reach without a car, so a cruise is the easiest way to see these locations. We also booked the optional trip to Abu Simbel which was about $50-60 per person and it was another thing that we did not have to worry about as they organised it for us. The cruise in general was fantastic, they had an inside lounge with huge windows to sit and watch the Nile and they also had a Darwish performance which was a nice experience too. The views of the river are spectacular! We were lucky that it was just us on this group tour so we basically had a private tour and careful attention was paid to all our needs. Our tour guide Gad was fantastic and he really made this whole experience extremely smooth and enjoyable. He was fully in communication with us before the cruise started to answer our questions and help with admin stuff, he is an honest man and never tried to cheat us or rip us off which can be very hard to find here as a tourist, his tours were excellent and he had much to say about each site and he also provided us with deeper insights into Modern Egyptian life, he gave us ample time to take photos of the sites by ourselves after the tours, and he was always on time and was a true professional during the whole trip. I would say if you have the choice, try to pick Gad for your tour as he is honest, great at his job, and fully committed to ensuring that you have the best time during your stay in Egypt. We loved out Nile Cruise trip with Travel to Egypt. Our guide Hisham was excellent! I came away knowing so much more about all of the ancient sites we visited. We were given enough time to take photos after each tour and the pickups were on time every morning.

Our time on this cruise is one of our most favorite travel memories ever! From the moment we met our guide, we knew this would be an incredible adventure. Karam took excellent care of our family of 7 with children ages 9-17, arranging transportation and guiding us through so many ancient sites. We felt very safe and that we were always getting the most for our money as he was careful to work within our conservative budget. He explained things so well-in ways even the youngest could understand. I appreciated how he was always available for more information and kept us updated throughout the entire trip. Karam was attentive to all of us - even helping clean up after a sick kid and making sure we all had enough to eat during the day - and we all thought he was the best part of our holiday. I only hope every family is so lucky to have a guide like Karam to make a cruise down the Nile be so exceptional. Besides the guide, we were very pleased with the cruise. For the price, our experience was the best. All of the staff was incredibly kind and always helpful. The food was delicious and people with any food style could find something to eat. We especially loved the night that Egyptian food was featured. We especially loved the soup, fish, desserts, and pastries but the dining staff was phenomenal. They were so friendly and always working to make sure we had the best experience. I wouldn’t ever hesitate to recommend this cruise to anyone. To cruise down the Nile was an experience we wanted but to do it with this company made the holiday something to be cherished for a lifetime. Thank you!

Great experience! The tour guides were great in seeing all the important aspects of the temples and explaining the history. They were very mindful of our time and also made sure we were enjoying the experience. Our guide bought us water, coffee, and even lunch one day (which was incredibly kind). They were present throughout every step and made sure we got to our destinations safely and in a timely manner. The cruise itself was very nice, and a must do to see the Nile while in Egypt. Highly recommend!

It was a perfect trip. We were booked on MS Zeina, which was very nice in every aspect. The rooms were clean and spacious enough, the bathroom comes with a bathtub. The staff on board were the nicest people. The meals were served buffet style with a good variety. Karam was our private guide for the four days. He was attentive, and always checked in on us when he wasn't around us to see if everything is alright (on the cruise, and the extra excursions). He's quick to reply to all our queries or requests. Everything went smoothly with his planning, and we always felt safe throughout the trip.

Our trip was booked with Travel to Egypt. The cruise was nicely equipped, we had a great experience there. We want to thank our guide Mohammed Ramadan who was very helpful and made sure we didn't need anything and was always on time. All the sites visited were also very nice, be ready to wake up very early though during some days.

We took the 4 days cruise as part of our 10 day trip to Egypt. We are backpackers and weren't sure if we would find our way around on such a cruise, but the very personal approach of the guides allowed us to have a great adventure. We were glad that we did not have to organise everything on our own as usual, and thanks to the efficiency of the guides we visited many sites in a short time. Thanks to the very extensive contacts in these sites, Travel to Egypt can organise everything you dream of at reasonable prices - all you have to do is ask. As a result, there is something for every traveller - families with children, adventure seekers and those who want, above all, to relax. The cabins are very comfortable, of a high hotel standard, and you get full bedding, towels and a shusher. You don't need any sleeping bags, the ship is downright luxurious. An amazing job is done by Alaaedine, the company manager. One of us fell ill during the cruise, Alaaedine stopped the ship in the nearest town to get the medication we needed and in Luxor he arranged a visit to the hospital, which went very smoothly, quickly and in much more comfort than we were used to in Europe. We were also privileged to meet some of his family. All this makes a cruise with Travel to Egypt not just another tourist service, but an amazing adventure with amazing people who treat you like family. We highly recommend it, also for backpackers!

We took the 4 days Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor! Generally it was a good experience! We had the chance to visit many sites, meet locals and create memories!! The tours to the sites were in a hurry as we needed to view the site fast and then return to the boat, but this is logical in cruises. Our guides Shimaa, Ahmed, Karam and Khaled were great, trying to explain as much as possible in the limited time we had. We had some issues with the organisation but they were solved by the company. All in all taking a cruise to the Nile provides a chance to visit many sites, but be prepared for early morning wakings and running through sites.

This experience was 10/10 for our guide, Karam. From well before we arrived, he was in communication with us regarding our upcoming trip. When our plans changed due to flight cancellations he was gracious and flexible in accommodating us. Karam has extensive knowledge of Egyptian history and made every site we visited more richer because he was there. Karam ensured that all our activities could be accomplished, even on very tight timelines. I could not give a full 5/5 rating because of some delays in our boat’s departure schedule making it challenging to arrive on time to the next stop. The crew on board were so friendly and kind accommodating us with special dining hours. We appreciate them all. The MS Royal, our boat is an older boat, less fancy than some. That said, it is reflected in the price. We received more than our money’s worth with our guide Karam, who brought his country to life for us for the past four days. Thank you so much, we leave a piece of our hearts in your country.

Our guide Karem Ibrahem ElFaleh was knowledgeable, informative, good humored, kind and helpful. He gave us the time we needed to browse the beautiful sites as well as giving the history and backstory. His knowledge of Egyptology and history of The Nile is extensive and delivered well. We enjoyed the tour very much. We will return to Luxor in the future.

The most honest and updated review (May 2022); I just touched down Cairo and I can tell you that I left with a very heavy heart- the tour guide (Mr.Mohamed Shaaban) played a major role. He was not only a tour guide, he was also a friend. His genuine care for our well-being came before anything else. He took care of me from the moment I arrived Aswan to the day he personally dropped me off at the airport at Luxor. His constant updates, his frequent care took this tour to the next level. We went to various places and he explained it all with enthusiasm despite the sweltering summer heat. He took time to explain and even gave ‘surprise quizzes’ with rewards too- to ensure we truly understand the importance of Egypt Ancient History! Not a day went by I felt scared, clueless or even tired! (Its my first time visiting Egypt- and I can assure you, it won’t be my last!) Mr.Mohamed Shaban is truly highly recommended and I can personally vouch that you will definitely have a great time as a first timer!! Thank you for changing my views on tour guides!
