You can tell that the animals there are his passion and he is always happy to give as much information as you can handle. Failure to provide the service I paid for on three occasions. Shallow justifications were given, however the service should have been provided regardless, as a commitment was made, as it was not delivered, I requested a partial refund. This was denied. Three failures of service occurred: 1. They did not pick me up on the day that I booked for. I had not cancelled. I had to book another hotel night as a result, unable to refund the night I was due to stay there after the safari. Expected a refund to the cost of the hotel. 2. They did not provide the morning safari I booked. They blamed this on park permits changing. I opted not to pay an extra permit, so I expected a refund for the driver that day as the safari did not go ahead. 3. They did not arrange a hotel drop off, I had to get dropped off at someone else's hotel and arrange an Uber myself. This meant I had to pay for another night at the hotel, arrange my own transport back, and missed a morning of safari. And to add to that, the customer service was shocking. Shouting over me on the phone, leaving the explanation to the driver when they knew beforehand, just not acceptable. They even made the other tourists wait in an unsafe area on the streets of Nairobi, fortunately I did not have to do this. They also seemed unable to grasp why I tipped the driver (great service) but still had these complaints. If you do not want to risk an experience of a lifetime, I suggest going with other companies.

Great experience! It was my first time doing a safari and this was amazing! Our guide took great care of us and our needs, scoped out faithfully for sights to see, and shared in humorous and informative experiences. Loved this safari and I would recommend Big Mac safari’s to anybody.

We totally enjoyed our safari trip to Masai Mara organised by Bigmac Safaris. We were provided with a detailed itinerary and getting more info was quick and easy. Our travel guide and driver, Michael was a lovely guy and we enjoyed his company during the three days. His experience meant that we managed to get the most out of the game drives and the trip from and back to Nairobi. I would book any future safaris with Bigmac.

We chose to arrange our safari our selves instead of engaging a travel agency in Denmark. We found Bigmac Africa Safaris and contacted Magdalene. She helped us make a perfect trip, made just for us and another family, just to our liking. It was always easy to get in contact with Magdalene, who always answered all our questions. We were on a 7 days safari and visited Ambuseli, Naivasha and Masai Mara, two days each. And what a treat!! Our driver, Anthony (as well as the other family's driver, Joseph) were knowledgable, flexible and good company. They drove us safely on the highways as well as at the gravelroads in the parks, and they were amazing at finding the animals we wanted to see. I would like to give my warmest recommendations to Bicmac Africa Safaris, Magdalene, Anthony and Joseph. They really gave us an incredibly good experience we will remember always.

We actually did 3 nights in the Mara and then flew down to Diani Beach everything was arranged by Bigmac Safaris. From our pick up at hotel in Nairobi to the end of our safari everything was smooth and professional. Our driver/guide Joseph, was a great driver both in the city and in the game park. We saw every type of animal and bird that you could wish to see and Joseph was knowledgeable and most importantly a really nice guy. It was a pleasure to spend 4 great days in his company. Please use a local tour company if you’re planning to visit Kenya it helps the economy which helps the game parks survive. Thanks Joseph and Magdalene.

This Safari was by far the best out of the 4 Safaris parks we've been to. Our guide Anthony was incredible and went the extra mile. He made sure we saw the big 5 and yes he found a black rhino. it was spectacular!! 23 plus lions, 20 plus hyenas, 3 leopards, and thousands of other animals. i would highly suggest this company and ask for Anthony. I've had 4 other Safari guides at other parks and Anthony was by far the best. The other personal touch is magdalene in the office doing the reservation. She took time and is excellent!!

We have organized a safari through Bigmac Africa safaris which was an excellent choice. Magdalene helped us in all aspects. She was very kind and helpful and arranged a well organized safari for us. Anthony our guide has an enormous knowledge and was a very good driver, and an excellent guide. He was friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout the trip. He is knowledgeable about the park, the animals, and their habits and his ability lead us to find a big 5 in the park. With his ability we had the chance to see big 5 closely in 3 days of game drive. Also the 4x4 Jeep is the best, it was quite comfortable. I would recommend Bigmac Africa safaris anytime.

We had such a great time. Our driver, Julius, was the best, so kind and polite. The camp site is comfortable and the view is amazing. Dinner was delicious with chef Isaac. Great experience!!!

Our driver was so kind and a good guide, at the same time he knows his job very well, he was very well experienced. He could contact to the others via walkie-talkie and find the animals easily, he provided us good views and nice photo shootings. Thank you Antony for everything. Our trip was amazing, unforgettable and magical. We were blessed to see the great migration, the big 5 and also got to witness a cheetah sprint from about a mile away and catch a fleeing gazelle. We also visited the Maasai village and got to get a glimpse into the Maasai culture very touching and heartfelt experience. Magdalene did a great job putting the trip together for us and was in constant contact answered every question to the best of her knowledge and was very kind. Ben our tour guide was great aswell. He was very knowledgeable and easy to get along with. We were very happy to have shared our experience with him. Altogether an unforgettable experience and highly highly recommended.

After securing some amazingly priced tickets, my wife and I planned our trip to Nairobi. At that time, we did not have a plan for a safari company. We selected BigMacSafari due to the exceptional customer service we received from Magdalene; our office liaison. When reaching out to other safari groups and found that BigMacSafari had the best customer service of the 3-4 that we reached out to. Magdalene was highly responsive, always within a reasonable time-frame and her highly effective responses helped us to make decisions effectively. This was important to us as we had never been to Africa before and did not know what to expect. She was patient with us explaining all of the many options. We chose a mid range package and was highly pleased with the results. She also helped us to select & book a Hot Air Balloon excursion for us as well - We would highly recommend this adder to your trip. Additionally, our guide Anthony was just as exceptional. We spent several days in the back of a vehicle with him. Anthony was a cautious driver, we did not get stuck in the mud ever (and there was a lot of that going around), we were always provided a perfect view of the animals on the safari without interfering with other tour groups. He was professional and personable.

Big Mac arranged a personal safari to the Masai Mara for my wife and I. Magdalene was excellent in her organisational skill and was very prompt in answering any queries we had concerning the trip. Our driver was Anthony was excellent in finding all the animals and had his own personal network with all the other guides in communicating and locating where the animals.we spent 4 nights on the Masai Mara and even saw Rhinos which are not bountiful on the Mara but saw the big 4 every day. I would advise spending 3 days on the Mara as every day creates a new story. Anthony was very accommodating to whatever we requested ensuring that our experience was special. We spent one day at Nakuru game park which was nothing compared to the Mara. Another day was spent on Lake Navasha - fantastic for bird watching and had a good walk on crescent Island ( out of Africa Location) All the accommodation was 4* - very comfortable and lovely grounds - plent of good food and all the servicewas excellent. The Kenyan people were ever so friendly and eager to please all the tourist. A great adventure and experience well done Big mac

Not sure where to start. We'r a Malaysian couple that have been residing in Gabon, Africa for the past 8 months. Planned a visit to Kenya for its known Safari and came into contacts with Maggie. She was very accommodating to my detailed queries and offered the best package from 5 renowned travel agencies that i was in contact. From the day we landed in Nairobi airport until now as im writing this in one of Maggies recommended Nairobi hotels, she had made sure we were well looked after. Masai Mara was out of the world, we expected the least. Its a must do for the first timer. Ben was our tour guide/driver and such a nice humble guy. He was one of the best in spotting the animals as well and made us cover the big 4 in Masai in just half a day. We were sure to get our eyes on the rhinos in Nakuru lake to complete the big 5 so Ben spent time looking for action in masai and we did managed to see attempted hunts of 2 cheetah, 2 leopard and a clan fight of lions in just a day and half. What fascinating way to be close to mother nature.. we can't thank Bigmac enough for this experience and we are already planning another visit soon...

3 of us went to Nairobi on a business trip and really wanted to visit Masai Mara over the weekend. There are so many options online and so many agencies it was difficult to make a decision. I can't recommend Big mac enough for first timers! Well organized trip and incredibly easy to book with them. Magdalene was my main contact, she was very detailed in our communication and showed me all the different options I can choose from. Helped us built our itinerary and every step of the way was just as promised. A driver picked us up from the Hotel in Nairobi, then we head to Wilson airport to depart for the Mara. After a 45 min ride we arrived at the amazing sight of elephants walking in the distance. Our Driver Ben (the nicest guy I've ever met) was already waiting for us with our land cruiser. It was early so he took around for a short game drive then headed to Mara Serena Lodge (very nice accommodation). Download Whatsapp and add them for easy communication.
