Experience an extraordinary 3-day tour immersing yourself in the rich history and captivating allure of southern Jordan. Traverse through time as you explore the timeless landscapes of Mount Nebo, an ancient biblical town boasting breathtaking panoramic views stretching across Jerusalem and the West Bank, including the historic city of Jericho. Delve into the remnants of a 12th-century crusader castle nestled in the hilltops of Shobak, renowned for its intricate network of hidden tunnels. Then, venture into the awe-inspiring beauty of one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Petra, "a rose-red city half as old as time," and the magnificent Wadi Rum, where you'll dine on "Zarb" with local Bedouins and witness the sunset with its endless changing colors, just outside your tent. Embark on this exclusive private tour led by our expert guide, Mohammed Abu Hamdah. With a wealth of knowledge in the region's history, landscapes, local culture, and Jordanian familial customs, Mohammed ensures an enriching experience tailored to our preferences. He went the extra mile, often stopping at viewpoints in Dana Biosphere Reserve, hilltops at Wadi Musa, and near the Dead Sea to admire breathtaking landscapes. Whether we seek leisurely strolls, unhurried exploration amidst ancient ruins, or speed hiking to the Monastery in Petra, Mohammed's flexibility guarantees a truly unforgettable journey.

Going to Amman Citadel and the Roman Theatre was magnificent but the highlight has to be Petra, absolutely incredible. Spending the night in Wadi Rum was out of this world. The whole trip was an unforgettable experience.

Rode with my driver Khaled who was professional and efficient at every stage. It was clear that he was well connected with locals at each stop which made things easy as a first timer. Itinerary was good but a lot of down time on the first and last day. Petra and Wadi Rum were incredible and somehow fit into a single day

This was an excellent tour. The driver - Ahmed Habibi Ali was excellent and really looked after me very well. He was always exactly on time for all meetings and he really went the extra mile to look after me. Jordan must rate as one of the best counties I have visited (and I have visited quite a few). The people are very friendly and helpful and the scenery is stunning. I went mainly for Petra - which was a total highlight - but every single place I visited was amazing. I particularly enjoyed the stay in Wadi Rum. Just a word of advise - check the weather conditions before you leave. I was totally unprepared for just how cold it was. An excellent trip and highly recommended.

This was an amazing experience! Saad Nator was our driver and was very friendly. We really appreciated his enthusiasm for answering our questions and teaching us Jordanian history and culture throughout the trip. All the sites during the trip really immersed us in the history of the region from Moses at Mount Nebo to the Nabataeans of Petra and the Bedouins in Wadi Rum. Ending the trip with a soak in the Dead Sea was a perfect ending and we were left feeling enlightened and refreshed. Highly recommend this tour and thank you so much again to Saad for making this such an amazing experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed and recommend our time spent with Jordan Private tours. Our driver was Murad, he was personable and friendly, talkative but not overly. It was a good combination of getting facts and history from him and allowing us to take in some of the long drives. We did the 3 day tour that covered Mt Nebo, Shabouk Castle, Petra, Wadi Rum, Red Sea & Dead Sea. It was enjoyable and they were very accommodating. The vehicle was comfortable, Murad always had cold water for us and the wifi was a nice plus to keep in touch with family back home. We opted to skip little Petra and go straight to Petra to get some extra time (you need 2day Jordan pass for this) and it was well worth it. We were able to spend about 3-4hrs there in the evening before closing and then a full day not rushed the next day. The Dead Sea resort was cool you don’t need much time to get the experience. The Red Sea in my opinion is not worth it for the 30mins to “see it” if you want to enjoy maybe extend trip and book a resort hotel with a cleaner less frequented beach. The only thing I would say was lacking I guess was stops for lunch, thankfully we are pretty self sufficient and packed along lots of snacks, but stops are few&far between so unless you ask the driver to stop somewhere for food bring snacks. Overall would recommend and travel with them again and again. Had such a wonderful time in Jordan!

My guide from JPTT, who's name is Jawdat, was a great partner for this experience. He was explaining about the local culture, answering questions and keeping the conversation going. He also gave a space to contemplate and explore on my own. Taking stops to catch the best views and take great photos. He basically helped with anything I needed and the whole experience actually felt very personalized. The first day we were going through the kings way, visiting Madaba city, Wadi Al Mujib, Karak Castle and finally little Petra. The next day, I visited Petra site and we headed to Wadi Rum. It was great spending the night in beautiful desert camp atmosphere. Eating traditionally prepared dinner meal, some music and finally ending the night in the cool desert wind by the fire, smoking shisha, chatting with the other guests. The next day, after breakfast we went for a jeep ride, stopping in selected locations for climbing and taking photos, ending with a camel ride, before heading back to Amman. Finally, recommend the trip and highly recommend the guide !

the only problem with this trip was that the description just did not do it justice in conveying the incredible grandeur of Jordan and the places visited: Petra and Wadi Rum. As I was a single older woman travel, after reading impeccable reviews by 2 women travels of the guide Jafar, I requested him as my guide. From the moment I met him, my concerns and worries melted away, assured he would figure everything out and I was safe and comfortable. He made sure I saw and experienced all the places I dreamed of and was always there for questions and support. I had an extra day in Amman so I asked Jafar if he would take me to Jerash and the castle near by, which he graciously did even though it was his day off. On the 3-day trip, he also took me to a fantastic restaurant which was a perfect fit for me; the best in my stay and most reasonable. Highly recommend Jafar to others as his experience and service is exceptional.

For this being our first time seeing all these spots, we had a blast falls short of our wonderful experience. The service from the website and quickness from the admins to respond back to our questions and accommodate our requests was beyond what we expected. Jordan Tours was originally suggested as an option by a coworker of mine who made the visit a few weeks before me. If you have the option, I suggest you request your driver to be Nidal. This person made the trip even more memorable as he has extensive knowledge about the sites and can provide you with options on how to do your tours. He went beyond that by purchasing our tickets to some of the sites that we went to. He also suggested to skip one of the itenary sites and head to another site which made the trip even better. He made the trip much more personable and would make random stops to show us views and spots that we would not have known of if it was not for him. He even provided us with a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide, Taha Hussein, for when we did the Petra hike. Although it is an extra cost, but doing the Backway Hike for Petra was an amazing experience, and you get to see all of the sites of Petra. Just be prepared for a 5.5 hour hike. Definitely take up the option of asking to have Nidal as your driver and Taha for your Petra Tour Guide. Thank you Jordan Tours!

TLDR: both the tour and Jafar were AMAZING!! Do this tour and request Jafar. See you tomorrow. My friend and I visited Jordan for our first time so she scheduled this tour for us and it was phenomenal! I’m going to split this review into two parts: the tour and our outstanding guide Jafar (Mr. See You Tomorrow). Tour: 1. We did the tour that didn’t include accommodations since we’re both Marriott members and were able to use points/certs. The tour also includes a 2 hour stop at the Dead Sea before returning to Amman and the company was very accommodating with us wanting to be dropped off there at the end of the tour. 2. If this is the option you choose (picking your own hotels), 100% ask the company about lodging recommendations in the Wadi Rum Desert. We didn’t ask since we didn’t know that there was a Reservation and the hotels don’t make that clear so definitely ask the company. We found out after getting to Jordan that our bubble tent resort wasn’t in the Reservation nor would our Jeep trip be but all turned out perfectly (more on that later) 3. The tour covered everything we wanted to do and everything was timed to perfection. They provided water and were happy to stop whenever we needed a toilet break or photo op. 4. The first day didn’t include a lunch stop since there’s nowhere to stop (this is not I-95!) so eat a big breakfast and take snacks. 5. The company was super responsive to all of our questions prior to booking and we felt like they wanted to make sure we got the best experience. Jafar: (best part!!) 1. If you choose this tour request him! He told us his nickname was Mr. See You Tomorrow and we thought “well we’re only spending two nights in his care so he’d only say it twice.” NOT TRUE! He’s friendly, funny AF, incredibly knowledgeable (in the army for 20+ years and spent time in several countries including the U.S.), and we clicked with him right away. 2. He has a TON of knowledge about history, political situations from all vantage points, and topography. 3. Jafar played awesome 80’s music (we’re late 40’s American women so it was perfect) 4. Ask him to tell you riddles. His are tough and his daughter (one of 7!!!) gave him some easier ones that we either never heard or we were still stumped with those and he felt sorry for us so told us they were the hard ones 🤦🏼‍♀️. When we would guess wrong or say something off/funny his was response was always “see you tomorrow” 😂😂 5. Jafar gave us his WhatsApp # and we could update pickup/drop off times as needed. He was so accommodating! 6. Jeep Tour - as I mentioned in the ‘Tour’ section, if you’re choosing your own accommodations make sure to ask the company for recommendations at the Wadi Rum Desert. Our camp was fine but apparently there’s a difference between staying inside and outside of the Reservation. When Jafar found out where we were staying he was “on it” to make sure we had a fantastic Jeep Tour. The Jeep tours outside of the Reservation don’t include the level of site access those inside do so once we told him we wanted the “good tour” Jafar made a call and scheduled a tour for us later that day. He even went with us into caves to make sure we saw and learned about all of the important and gorgeous sites. But…. given I was in a post-surgical boot cast and don’t exactly run on fear or caution I also think he wanted to keep his perfect client survival rate! See you tomorrow 🥁 7. We had to have a PCR test for our flight home and were having trouble getting through to the lab and hadn’t been able to figure out if the lab would come to our hotel to do the test or we had to go somewhere. Jafar called the lab for us, made the reservation for the lab to come to our hotel and all went off without a hitch. 8. I had on an Ohio State mask one day (yeah, we’re everywhere) and long story short, the owner of the tour company now lives in my family’s town in a Cleveland suburb. Jafar FaceTimed him so we could chat and sent his info so we can connect over Christmas when I’m in town. This might seem like “yeah, so what?” but this tells you all you need to know about Jafar and his friend/business partner. I’ve traveled extensively for work and fun, met countless people, and done several private tours but this was the first time I’ve felt like our guide genuinely cared about us as people. Jordan is definitely on my revisit list for a Red Sea dive trip and even if I didn’t do a tour I will plan around Jafar’s schedule so that we can meet and catch up. Whether he likes it or not!! SEE YOU TOMORROW!!

I visited a friend who lives in Jordan in April 2021, on a trip that was rescheduled from 2020, and I’m so glad I came. Our tour guide Mustafa was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the history of each stop on the tour and we learned a lot from him! All of the stops on the tour were really fun, but I would have to say Petra and Wadi Rum are the must see places if you come to Jordan, along with the Dead Sea (which we opted to skip on the tour since we had already been). Mustafa was kind enough to take some great photos for us and uploaded them to Google Drive. Due to the pandemic there are very few tourists, and we found ourselves lucky to see these amazing sites without the usual crowds.

We have enjoy the tour so much! Big thank you to the tour guide Jafar, who was a start! He made our holiday unforgettable!!! We have visited all the famous spots and in-spite of terrible wrested on the first day, we have managed to catch up with the planned tour. Jafar is the best tour guide I have met in my life!

The three day tour was exactly what we were looking for and we spend the perfect amount of time at each place! It was a wonderful way to get an overview of Jordan. Prior to our tour here we spent 10 days in Israel, we did a land crossing so we opted to get our Jordan Visas in advance. I would highly recommend getting the Jordan Pass for this tour! Highlights: Murad was a wonderful driver for us! He made sure to stop at several areas for good pictures along our journey, fill us in on information about the country, make pit stops along the way for bathrooms and snacks, etc! There is so much more to Petra that you would ever think if you intentionally don’t do research about it in advance which is totally worth it! Riding a camel in Wadi Rum was great! Way better than options else where and much longer! Additional Notes: Our flight home was out of Tel Aviv so our driver took us back to the border crossing instead of Amman for an additional $50 US Dollars. We knew this cost in advance and it was worth it to us as it saved us an additional transition and was the same cost as the taxi we had coming in for our first nights stay. Lunches are not provided (which we knew), but we thought we could play it by ear. Do not make this mistake, plan your lunches in advance with your driver if you want to get a lunch in, otherwise you will not have a lunch any of the days like us because we spent the maximum amount of time at each location we could and didn’t have any wiggle room for a meal! All in all we had a very fantastic experience, Murad tailored the trip a bit to meet our needs and we ended up having a perfect experience! Thank you Murad, and thank you Jordan Tours!

We went on a three-day tour with JPTT visiting Mt Nebo, Al Kerak Castle, Little Petra, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba and the Dead Sea. We booked directly with JPTT and the communication was flawless from start to finish. The evening before the trip Murad (Abu Sharar), our driver contacted us on the hotel phone and also via WhatsApp to confirm the collection time. He picked us up from our hotels in Amman the next morning at 8 am. Petra hotel included a complimentary shuttle bus that starts at 7 am. The next day, after breakfast which started at 6 am we took the first bus to Petra. Around 5 hours later, we called Murad to meet us at 1 pm at the main gate. We stopped for a quick lunch in Petra and then Murad drove us to Wadi Rum. We arrived at Wadi Rum well ahead of the sunset so we were able to fit in our Jeep tour on the same day and still enjoy the sunset at the camp. The sites at Wadi Rum looked stunning, especially at this time of the day, perfect for pictures. This also gave us time to relax the next day and we managed to arrive back in Amman earlier.  The whole tour was really well organized and Murad was very exceptional, he made sure we were well looked after and provided us with his knowledge and support through the whole trip. He showed us many great views and was more than willing to stop and take pictures for us. He helped us with restaurant choices too. The car was a really comfortable Nissan SUV with access to a mobile wifi hotspot. I need to add that this is a budget option so don't expect luxurious accommodation. However, the beds and toilets were very clean and the provided food was good. The only one negative thing I can think of was the breakfast at the camp. We joined the queue with the other guests but when we got to the table most of the food was gone leaving us with bread and houmous.  Other than that, the tour was perfect and the driver was very accommodating which made all the difference. It felt almost like going on a trip with a good friend. Thank you Murad!

Our group of 4 have just returned from our 3 day whistle stop tour of Jordan, taking in Mount Nebo, Karak Castle, Little Petra, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba and the Dead Sea. Our driver Qutaibah and our guide Mohammad Ibrahim were both very friendly, welcoming and professional but mainly such great fonts of knowledge! I was amazed at how much historical facts they imparted. They were also very accommodating for our odd requests for ice to cool our drinks. We loved every aspect of the tour, crammed as much in as possible, the only thing I would say is that the 3* hotel in Petra left a bit to be desired and it would have been nice if we could have stayed more central to the town. The staff at the Bedouin camp were incredible, as was the dinner and accommodation. We would definitely recommend JPTT to our friends.

We just came back from Jordan and we want to go back again! Thank you JPTT for such an amazing trip, the flexibility that you guys allowed us and providing us with the most charming, resourceful and diplomatic guide we could dream of! If you come across Murad, you will know what I mean. Just ask and he will stand on his eyelashes to make you happy. Murad was an excellent, confident and careful driver(car is very spacious and comfortable). He has managed our diverse group very well. He is happy to take photos and be on photos. He was giving us tips on where to take best photo. He was always making sure we had water that the JPTT provided us with(there is a cooling box at the back of the car). Highly recommended.

My partner and I have just completed a 3 day private tour of Jordan with JPTT. It was a wonderful 3 days visiting some magical sites along the way. Right from the start JPTT were fantastic to deal with, responding quickly to each of my questions as we worked out the right itinerary for us and then our driver (Ihab) did a wonderful job of driving us around the country in a very safe and secure manner, he was also accomodating to adjusting the itinerary as we went and was also very knowledgeable and provided some additional information on places we visited. Jordan was a real surprise to us, Petra is just out of this world, a night in the desert at Wadi Rum a wonderful experience and then having the opportunity to spend some time in the Dead Sea was a fantastic way to finish the trip. We also had time to visit Mount Nebo and Jerek Castle and the Red Sea and spent a night in Amman on our final night. I would definitely recommend Jordan Private Tours and Travel if you are thinking about visiting Jordan as they are very easy to deal with and accomodating in what you want to see and do in your time in Jordan. We will definitely visit again and won't hesitate to use JPTT for a follow-up trip.
