Charlotte was very knowledgeable and personal. It helped that we had only 5 people though so she could get to know us more. She was able to answer all of our questions and made the tour entertaining as well as informative. Great personality for this.

Charlotte was amazing! She could answer any question with “made sense” answers. There were 3 of us who had heard of 3-D printers but no idea as to how they worked. I HIGHLY recommend everyone from kids to grandmas take this tour to educate yourself about how 3D printers are built, how they function, and how this company is reusing/recycling plastic. Go Gigabots!

Fabulous tour …super interesting. We learnt loads about not only the wonderful company Re:3D is but also about the world of 3D printing and it’s uses but also recycling plastics

This was a great tour of a 3d printer factory! Charlotte was so knowledgeable and so patient at answering my 11 year olds every last question. We spent nearly a week in the Galveston/Houston area taking in all the sights and I’m not exaggerating when I say that this was the highlight for my son. He had the very best time here and is already asking when we can go back. If you’re even slightly interested in the 3d printing world then take this tour. You’ll really enjoy it. The souvenir 3d printed rocket is pretty fun too!

Kind and knowledgeable tour guide. Our boys enjoyed learning about how the 3D printers are made and how they work. They got to see a printer creating a part for a new printer and held a couple of things that had been printed using different materials. We purchased the tickets that come with a 3D printed 2’ rocket at the end of the tour: I recommend it, our boys loved it.

The tour was excellent and my guide had great details about how 3d printing works and different types. I would highly recommend if you're anywhere near Houston.. the location is close to nasa.

My son loved talking to the guide about the 3D printing world and was very happy with the time spent at the factory. They have a cool story and we have a better upstanding of how these large format printers are made and what they are used for. My son is in robotics and was all into this tour. The rocket you take home is pretty cool as well!

Went with 3 kids, ages 10-17. They thought it was pretty cool and interesting. We all have a minimal knowledge of 3D printing. We had the tour to ourselves which was really nice

A great way to expose kids to modern engineering and reuse of plastics. Great (patient) tour guide. Interesting to adults and kids alike.

During the tour, Charlotte gave me an inside to re:3D. The tour was very interesting and detailed. And, it was a great fun, too. Not to mention the 2-feet rocket.

I took my six year old grandson on this tour, and could not have been more pleased. Charlotte was especially accommodating as our host, and never talked "down" to him. She welcomed his questions, encouraged his curiosity, and interspersed the tour with hands-on activities. He has not stopped talking about it, including making a marble, snowflakes, and has been taking his rocket everywhere to share. We added this to our already planned tour of the Space Center, Galaxy Lights, and Lunch with an astronaut. What was the highlight of our little vacay from his perspective? The re:3D tour!

As a mechanical engineer, designing components out of plastics, I had a lot of questions about the capabilities and limitations of 3D printing, and they were ALL answered. (Some of the answers saved my company from pursuing 3D printed plastics in ways they really are not designed for at this time.) I was even allowed to borrow a sample of the different kinds of plastics and rubbers that they 3D print to show my boss. And if that were not enough, I was allowed to take home some samples in the form of an all 3D-printed-plastic spring-driven toy car. I would highly recommend this free tour for engineers who are just starting to use 3D printed plastics and rubber. It also would be a very informative and entertaining hands-on field trip for Boy and Girl Scouts, and even adult groups wishing to see the latest in new technology. And for those considering buying an industrial type 3D printer, as a hands-on primer to the industry, this tour is a must.
