I wouldn’t recommend this excursion in the way they provide it. Although we did get to see some beautiful technicolor fish and reefs, you don’t get to spend much time at all in any of them because you’re constantly being rushed back to the boat to go somewhere else. The boat they took us on had no dry storage, and all my things got soaked - I was lucky my cellphone and camera didn’t get wet, since my husband brought his dry bag. The snorkels they give you are cheap, and the mouthpieces don’t work so well, and we were all constantly removing them to spit out water and readjust them, at times in waters with strong currents and big waves. Also, make sure you have a good, hearty meal before the trip, even if you pick the 12 noon option, because they don’t give you any food till the very end, and then, it’s just a light snack. The only sandwiches they had were ham and cheese, which I don’t eat. Next time I go snorkeling in Isla Mujeres, I’m going to do a longer trip so I’m not constantly being rushed around and yelled at to get back on the boat, and I’ll plan to bring my own food because they don’t serve you much at all.

Fun excursion. The VIP version of the tour was not available that day after we had booked it. They communicated that to me the morning of. When I arrived they offered me to join the regular tour, which was just as good as I would have imagined the VIP to be and they offered to provide a partial refund for me, which was super cool. I mean, I would have demanded it, but didn't need to. They were fun, informative, and flexible. It was awesome.

Very nice guys who take safety seriously. Great ceviche. My husband and I enjoyed it because it was just a small group of seven. Saw turtles, stingrays, Dory fish, barracuda, and lots of coral and grasses. Fun! There were sandwiches too, if you're not a ceviche fan.

I took the 3 hour semi-private Island Adventure snorkeling tour today. For me, it truly was an adventure because I'd done only a little snorkeIing many decades ago. Even though the other four passengers were experienced, our guide, Kevin, managed the the group expertly, taking wonderful care of me while pointing everything out for the whole group as we swam along together. Diego, our captain, also gave me a hand when I needed it and was very good-natured. The water was clear, the fish were beautiful, and the weather was great. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My partner and I took this snorkeling trip with two kids, ages 8 and 11, who had never snorkeled before. Kevin and Miguel were very thoughtful about tailoring the experience to what would be manageable and comfortable for them. They absolutely loved the first time snorkeling experience, and we had a great time too. We saw beautiful fish, including rainbow parrot fish, barracuda, and we were even lucky enough to follow a sea turtle. Kevin and Miguel supplied everything that was needed as well as some nice food (ceviche and margaritas were delicious!) and beverages. We had a great time and would highly recommend them!

We had a great time. Although the sea was choppy we saw a lot of fish. Guides were friendly and helpful. Ceviche was tasty!

We enjoyed our snorkel experience. I epically liked the small group experience. Other people can be a little out of control and inconsiderate, so I appreciate it just being "US" on the trip. The guides were great and friendly. Kevin & Manuel were very nice and friendly. The captin was nice but we did not deal with him directly to much. We made 4 stops and we did get to see lots of marine life. I could do without the sandwich and have just cold drinks.

Wonderful time with Ernesto and Kevin! The snorkeling experience was great despite having a windy day. Saw lots of fish and several stingrays. Underwater museum was very cool. Food and margaritas afterwards was perfecto!

We had such a wonderful time on our snorkeling excursion! Kevin, Miguel, and Diego were excellent guides and took great care of our family of 7 adults and 1 baby (18 months old). It was some of the best snorkeling we’ve ever done. So many incredible fish! And the ceviche at the end was delicious!

My family and I loved our snorkeling tour with our Guide Kevin and Captain Ernesto! They were super friendly, helpful, and did a great job with safety. On our tour we saw some amazing fish, and had a great time on and off the boat!

We had a good time snorkeling with Gabriel and Ernesto. We expected a little bit more though. The MUSA could be replaced by a stop at a more interesting spot. Also the actual time snorkeling did not meet our expectations, after 1,5h we stopped swimming. Thank you for the trip, Ernesto’s ceviche was brilliant!

They cancelled because no one else booked the time. We had to take a bus from playa del carmen. Then a taxi to the ferry only to arrive and say ot was cancelled

We took this tour with a small group of seven people to four wonderful snorkeling spots off of the west coast of Isla Mujeres. We had planned an afternoon trip, but due to it being high season, the company asked the members of the group if they could could arrive in the morning so we could beat the crowds. This worked out so well and we ended up with a great group who had all agreed to arrive earlier. As a result, we had the snorkeling spots to ourselves or almost to ourselves. The day was perfect and our tour guide, Kevin, was great at making sure he had track of the group as he directed us to incredible sights along the reef and at the underwater museum. Ernesto, our captain, did a great job of circling the boat from the start of each swim to the finish and was right there for us to climb up as we ended a swim. Downsides were that we were promised a link to purchase photographs for the trip and the link never materialized despite texts and emails to the company. If you want to reliably get pictures of the trip, make sure you either bring your own GoPro or waterproof pouch for your phone. Also, the food and beverage is kind of meager (small ham and cheese sandwich and small bottles of water) so bring a snack if that isn't your preference food-wise. That having been said I plan to use this company again on future trips. The office is conveniently located in the heart of Playa Norte with a short van ride to the boat, and we really appreciated the small size of the group. Kevn and Ernesto as well as the people at the office were all very helpful and great to work with.

While the tides were too strong to visit the the underwater museum, the office communicated this clearly both via text on the morning of our trip and at check in. The trip itself was fantastic—we visited 3 sites: a 2015 shipwreck, the lighthouse, and Sac Bajo reef. Our small group ranged in age from 74 to 11 months and our charming guide Kevin and skilled captain Ernesto managed to give us each the experience we wanted: even the baby got in where we were all practicing in shallow, calm water at the shipwreck!

My husband and I both had an amazing time! The four spots we visited were full of vibrantly colored fish and beautiful coral reefs. So glad we opted for the smaller group. Made it much easier to follow the guide when we’re in the water. Speaking of our guide, Kevin, he was fantastic. Super friendly and very competent. He took pictures for us when we were snorkeling. All that and you get delicious ceviche and a margarita. Highly recommend!

Kevin was very accommodating and does a wonderful job. We just made the mistake of not taking the weather into consideration and so did not do the last 2 snorkels due to the waves, which make us sea sick!

Kevin and Ernesto were our guide and captain. They did a great job getting us to the most spectacular reefs and we were fortunate to be out there on a calm day. The ceviche they served was excellent. In the water Kevin was an excellent guide, making sure that we were able to see things that he found and pointed out points of interest. we felt safe and well cared for. The only issue for us was that the tour company did not tell us in advance about the 200 peso dock fee and so luckily we had brought money with us but we weren’t going to and decided to at the last minute, fortunately . Bring your own towels so you don’t have to pay for the extra fee! If you’re using Apple Maps to try to find the office, don’t bother it will take you to the wrong place. Be sure and use Google maps to find the office.
