This was honestly the best part of our trip (and we hit the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Devil’s Bridge, Slide Rock, you get the point.) Paul was clearly an expert on the desert but he was able to carry the experience of visiting the area for the very first time. He was very informative, had lots of great spots picked out for photos, and even warned us for more intense parts of the biking trail. Even if you took this tour multiple times he’d change it up as he offered us multiple routes for different experiences such as technical or flowy. We 1000% recommend this tour if you’d love a fun experience through the Sonoran Desert.

The Tour was fantastic…Paul, my guide, was really great…Went over all the features on the bike, positioning of the pedals and seat, etc before we headed out. During the ride he would stop and let me know the trail terrain coming up and how to best navigate through it. Was really focused on my safety foremost. During the ride he continuously pointed out all the various species of trees, plants etc and strategically stopped at the best spots to take pictures. Truly an amazing experience for me and I could not have had a more informed, prepared and enjoyable guide in Paul. Highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Paul was a perfect tour guide. I appreciated his introduction, going over the equipment and the basics of what to expect on the trip. He tailored the challenge level and the pace of our tour to the ability of our group. When we were done we all felt like we got everything we wanted from the tour. A good ride and workout, great views, lots of information on the desert and surrounding mountains. Equipment (bikes, helmets, gloves, water bottles) was all in great condition. I would definitely recommend Paul and this trip, and would do it again.

The bike ride was thrilling while our stops really highlighted the beauty of the desert. We enjoyed our first mountain bike ride with a guide who taught us how to use the bikes and appreciate the trail. The equipment was first rate.

Paul is a great guide with tremendous knowledge of the trails beautiful sceneries highly recommended . The area is amazing trails are technical in some spots but generally flowy with turns lots of fun

Paul was our guide for this mountain bike tour and we had so much fun. He was very knowledgeable, had all the gear/water/snacks we needed, and the bikes were very nice. We were able to see lots of different landscapes and it was great exercise. Our youngest had a small spill on the trip and Paul even had what we needed for that. Beautiful time of the year to go too!

Highly recommend! This was the perfect way to get out and enjoy the desert and beautiful scenery. Paul made it easy with everything I needed and all of the expertise about the location. Upshot: This adventure came in above expectation ! Note that your private tour will consist of only you and any people that you booked to ride with you. No riders you don't know are booked onto your tour time. My wife and I chose the 3-hour tour. Glad we did. Since we’re not at all regular bikers, it took a bit to get ourselves used to handling the bikes and the terrain. But, then we settled into a nice rhythm to enjoy the fantastic desert scenery, up close. Our guide, Paul, was sensational. Super knowledgeable about the landscape, friendly and patient with us when we needed rest breaks. Among several options, he helped us choose the right route for our capability and comfort, and he knew every nook, cranny and rock on the way. At riding breaks, Paul provided interesting informational tidbits about the desert flora, fauna and vistas that you’re seeing. Awesome photo opps at just about every other turn on the trail. Paul provides cool backpacks for your wallet and phone, plus water and snacks during the ride. Nice bathrooms are available at the trailhead to start/end the trip. If you ask, Paul will provide a post-ride brew pub recommendation and might even join you.

Paul was amazing! This tour was my favorite activity during my Scottsdale trip. Paul fitted me for my bike, provided a backpack, and a couple bottles of water. During the tour, we stopped for pictures and explanations of flora/fauna, and topography of the desert. It was VERY engaging and informational. As for the ride itself, Paul tailored it to my abilities and made it challenging and fun. Spinning a few times a week really helped me out here. All in all, I would give this tour a 10/10. I would definitely do it again. ♥️

It was a great ride, and my guide was awesome. Not only did he teach me the finer points of Mountain bike riding, he was an expert on local vegetation. I registered for the moderate course. The ride wasn’t too difficult but challenging enough to give me a good workout. The trail was beautiful. I’d ride with Arizona Adventures again!

My boyfriend and I did a mountain bike tour with Paul around axle grease trail and had an amazing experience. Paul was super friendly and an excellent guide. He came prepared with water, snacks and gear, and really made sure we were comfortable biking before heading out. We took enough breaks that we weren't overwhelmed by the distance and he took great care to ensure we were aware of any tricky turns. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a great adventure!
