The knowledge, enthusiasm and kindness of our tour guide, Werner, made this a great tour. It was clear he enjoyed what he does. The backroads getting into the park were great. Overall, extremely happy with this experience!

The guide, Werner, was absolutely incredible! So friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Highly recommend! This was my first visit to the Grand Canyon and I learned so much and even though I am terribly afraid of heights, Werner was fantastic about where to go (step) and not push too far (ha ha on the pun) my limitations!

The company is located in Tusayan AZ just outside the main gate of the Grand Canyon National Park. They have a lot of vehicles that are clean, open to the outside, with roll down clear windows, and blankets for the ride home when it’s cold! Our guide was Werner, a native of Germany, who moved here more than a dozen years ago after originally coming for a 2 week vacation!!! He is so knowledgeable about the park, the Canyons history, the plants, the different Indian tribes of the canyon, and all the main sights. The Grand Canyon Jeep and Safari Tour Co is the only one with back road access so we entered the park through an off road entrance and winded our way to the Grand Canyon Village. The tour was amazing and we ended up at Grand View Point which was where the 1st main hotel was located in the late 1800’s. We spent the Golden Hour there and watched an AMAZING sunset. The sky goes from blue to pink to yellow to orange to purple the further the sun goes down. It’s amazing how the entire canyon changes as the sun sets, the shadows creep in and the colors take over!! A great company, a fantastic guide, and an unforgettable sunset!!!!!!

1st….our guide Werner was very enjoyable…..had a story and a picture to enhance all his commentary. Learned lots about the park and its history. Would recommend the tour wholeheartedly.

The tour gave us beautiful vantage points of the canyon where we enjoyed a gorgeous sunset. We would highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Grand Canyon National Park!

Fantastic stress free way to see the canyon in its best light. Back road travel beat all traffic and entry issues. Would recommend for a short visit!

Absolutely amazing experience our tour guide was Sheila and she was awesome. We learned so much about the Grand Canyon. She was absolutely positively hilarious. She had our kids cracking up. 10 out of 10 experience will recommend to all of my friends if they come out this way.

We had an amazing tour with our guide Werner. He was very knowledgeable about the Grand Canyon and surrounding areas and showed us amazing views of the Canyon. We dressed warm and Werner provided blankets which was great for the kids. Highly recommended.

Our driver Mike was great. We enjoyed the off road part as it allowed us to see mule deer and lots of elk. The stops we made at the Grand Canyon were great views. And we had a great place to watch the sunset. It was a perfect tour. Highly recommended.

We had been at the Grand Canyon all day and then went on our tour. He took us on back roads and to some spectacular spots. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had lots of stories to share with us.
