Ro was a great guide and we had a wonderful time with her. Learning a little more behind the history of mezcal was a great inclusion of the tour.

Oh my god! This is not your typical food tour. It was quite a culinary experience - I had huitlacoche (corn smut) tacos, fried grasshoppers, and rattlesnake-infused...; well, you have to try it for yourself! Of course, there's normal stuff, too, like veggie tacos for the vegetarian folks. Everything was delicious! Our tour guide was great and extremely passionate about Mezcal, as it's also her family business.

Super interesting tour. We would never have hit these place had we not booked it. The tacos were great, the mezcal fantastic, and our guide, Rocio, was pleasant and very knowledgeable. Don't miss out!

Rocio is in love with Mezcal and highly knowledgeable with the Mexican traditions. We learned so much from this tour and now we know which salsa we like and which taco we favor and will definately prefer the following days. We tasted things we cannot find by ourselves and loved every bit of it.

The selection of Mezcal was exceptional. However, the selection of tacos that we had was below average. I had expected much better food, especially here in Mexico City.

Had an amazing time. Loved that each taco was different and we got to learn more about how to taste salsas and mezcal. Friendly atmosphere, didn't feel rushed, and there was more than enough food. Left feeling stuffed and happy. We did this on our first night in CDMX and it was a great intro to the city and the food! This tour is a great way to relax and get to try a variety of tacos. The other guests were all American and everyone was friendly. Group size maxes out at 10, which is a good number. You sit at each place, so no worries about walking/standing a lot.

Rocio is very passionate about her families mezcal business. So much so, she shares it with those visiting Mexico. I had such a great time getting to know her families history and she did a great job combining it with delicious tacos from several stops (come hungry....like....really hungry. You'll be stuffed by the end). The group I was with was very vibrant. Overall, 10/10 Thanks, Rocio

Rocio was so fantastic! Makes everyone feel comfortable and welcome. So much food!!! I was never a mezcal fan but after this experience, I have a new appreciation. Rocio had many other recommendations for our trip. We only wish we had booked this adventure earlier in our vacation so that we could have taken better advantage of all the knowledge we gained from Rocio. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Mexico City!

Would’ve been 5 stars if prior-tour experience was better. No email confirmation after booking, had to call Tripadvisor/Viator to chase. I was sent an email with a link to click on to view the instructions & voucher. On the day of the tour I realised where was no info on who I was meeting, no info on landmarks to look out for - I couldn’t find the meeting point and had no contact info of who I was meeting. There I was, in the middle of Mexico City, having to call Tripadvisor/Viator (very expensive calling internationally!) to get info on who I was meeting and where. I should not have had to do that. I should have already had the info. I ended up being late, and wasn’t in the best mood when I arrived but it wasn’t the fault of Rocio, the tour guide. It was bad customer service & lack of information from the organisers. I’d have preferred to have booked the tour via a Company that had allowed me to be able to speak directly with the tour guide/host. However, The Tacos & Mezcal Crawl itself was amazing! Rocio was lovely, friendly and knowledgable. We went to some great places and tried some great food & drink. I loved the places we went to so much that I returned to one of the restaurants the next night, solo, to experience it all over again. As always with these things, it’s the other tourists who help make it a memorable experience. I had a great bunch! I was the only Brit, everyone else was American/Canadian. But honestly enjoyed everyone’s company, I’d have happily stayed out drinking more Mezcal cocktails after the tour ended, if only it wasn’t my first full day in Mexico - I was hugely jet lagged. It was a very good evening, if not for the prior-tour mix up, it would’ve been 5 out of 5 stars.

My finance and I had a wonderful night with Rocio! She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about Mexican food, mezcal and the community she lives in. We enjoyed all of the taco stops and learning about mezcal. We left stuffed and inspired. Highly recommend you take this tour whether you are a local or a visitor!

We had a great night discovering Roma's best tacos and learning more about Mezcal. Rocío was a great host, so knowledgeable and passionate about Mezcal. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone (especially those who enjoy a drink).

We had such an amazing time on this taco and mezcal tour!!!! Rocio was incredible and her passion for mezcal and Mexico City was palpable!!!! We learned so much about the making of mezcal and got to explore new taco places we wouldn’t have found otherwise. Highly recommend!!!

Great way to experience the food & drink scene in Roma Norte. We even got an extra helping of the best taco I’d ever had.

The tour was a lot of fun and I learned so much about Mezcal that I had no idea. Thetacos were amazing….my fav bringhey pork belly and beef brisket. Then the Mezcal….i thought tequila was tequila. That’s not the case. Like whiskey and cognac, Mezcal is ver different from regular tequila.

Rocio is a great guide, she's kind, funny and knowledgeable. The places we visited were amazing, food and mezcal made a wonderful pairing. Totally worth it.

I cannot remember a better organized and more fun tour. Rocio comes from a family that has produced Mezcal for three generations, so she knows of what she pours. Excellent diversity of flavors on the liquid front. And the taco stops were the equal. Different meats and flavors at each stop. We finished with a shot of booze that had aged in a jar with a dead snake. What a way to go- for both the snake and our tour! Thank you Rocio for a perfect introduction to Mexico City and the Roma neighborhood in particular!
