The first accommodation (Serengeti) was a disaster. No shower, no lights, everything dirty… We did the safari with other person, who had another place to sleep and he didn’t offered to carry him to his hotel (the only thing he said is that he should make a claim and we’ll just see…The second camping (Ngorongoro) was way better. The driver exchanged 3 words a day on the safari and on dinners. 0 talkative. I would not recommend it. His son, incharged of the cooking was great. He was good worker and comprehensive.

The tour with Omar was incredible. Omar really knows everything about animals and is an incredibly nice person and very humorous. He took very, very good care of us. He even offered us to wake him up at night when we go to the bathroom in case we were afraid. He has a good contact with locals and tries to show a lot of Tanzania and culture outside of the tour. With him you feel very safe and you can rely on him 1000%. He has given us a very secure feeling . he knows all the spots where you can see the animals. even the rare animals. thanks to Omar we have seen everything in three days. Omar is worth visiting this country and these national parks again. Thank you Omar

Our safari experience was top-notch. From the time Omary picked up us from our hotel until the time he dropped us off, we will received five star service. He has such good energy that I knew we would enjoy our trip from the start. We saw the big five (rhinos, elephants, leopards, buffalos, and lions). He made sure he got as close to the animal as safety would allow so we could get amazing views and photographs. Safety was Omary's number one priority. He was careful to make sure he drove in a safe manner to avoid accidents and breakdowns. While some other tourist were receiving box lunches, we received catered meals everyday with silverware and a variety of beverages. The food was delicious. Omary was very knowledge of the people, culture, and government, and he shared numerous stories and tidbits about the country and way of living.

I am writing this review to extend a heartfelt thank you for my 3 day safari experience, Tati bila, with Omar. His commitment to to ensuring our needs were not only met but exceeded contributed significantly to our unforgettable experience. Above all, his knowledge of the grounds exemplified his expertise, allowing my group amazing opportunities to capture breathtaking photos. Omar’s attentiveness definitely enriched our safari experience. I could not thank Omar enough for his outstanding efforts and commitment in delivering a memorable time. I will forever remember him for the way he entertained my group with jokes and stories about the history and culture of Tanzanians.

Omary was such an amazing and tentative guide! I’ve been on 5 Safaris and this 3 day trip was the best I’ve ever experienced! I saw the big five for the first time in one trip! This was truly an experience I will never forget! The food was also amazing, freshly cooked, and yummy! We were one of the only groups that did not have box lunches, we can a full course meal! Such an amazing experience!!

Malisa was our tour guide and he was very knowledgeable, accommodating, fun. Othman took care of our breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our food was awesome fresh and healthy with salad, rice, potatoes and desert. We also had veggie pizza. Our group consisted is f a guy from Norway, a couple from France and us from the Philippines. We learned a lot from Malisa. We really had a great time with lots of cultural information and laughter. Dinner was always entertaining with beer or wine. Thank you Malisa and Othman.

My sister and I spent two weeks in Tanzania on a safari with Viajeamigotours. Our guide's name was Ben M. He and the tour was FABULOUS!! We saw so many aminals and had great views mainly due to our superb guide. He made sure we were comfortable, had what we needed and he took such good care of us. He even went out of his way to take us to a pharmacy that he trusted so that I could get something for a reaction that I had to a bite. We were put in a nice hotel at the beginning of our trip, but spent most of our time in "tents" as we requested. The tents that were chosen for us were clean, had what we needed, had great staff, and the food that was served was really good (to my surprise). All of the people at the hotels, shops, and camps were extremely friendly. I obviously would highly recommend this company and Ben as the guide!

Man, how do I start my review? These guys surely know how to take care of their guests and they know what they are doing. Our group was composed of 10 people. So, there were two (2) vehicles carrying five (5) people each. It was so comfortable plus there was a cooler and charging port inside the car! Joseph was our lead guide and driver. He's very chill and he has a knack for spotting different animals even without the use of binoculars! Plus, he knows a lot about the history and culture of Tanzania. So, aside from learning about animals, you can also learn a thing or two about their history as well. He's very accommodating, polite, friendly, and a great driver.

Had the best time with the guidance of Joseph and Asaad, our safari drivers and tour guides. We got to see a lot of animals with the short time that we had (we only missed out on one of the Big 5, the rhino). Accommodations were top-notch too, especially Ang'ata for our 2nd night. Food provided was great as well.

By far the coolest experience I’ve done to date. We saw all of the big 5 and lots more. The animals are so close you could almost touch them! Macha the driver was so fun, great humor, knowledgeable about the animals and areas and we felt safe with him. The camping if I did it again I would bring my own sleeping bag- I didn’t love sharing bags but that’s the only real complaint if you call it that. The food was also fantastic. 100% book this tour, you won’t be disappointed with the experience!

We did a 3-day Private Budget Camping safari and had the most incredible experience. Our guide Melvin was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about the different ecosystems we visited, we had a great time with him. We camped the first night at the public campgrounds in Serengeti N.P. and the second night near Ngorongoro crater. The tents were already set up on our arrival and we slept ‘like baby elephants.’ We were impressed with the quality of the food in the camps and had plenty of water and other beverages in the safari truck. Overall it was a truly once in a lifetime trip. Owner Mohamed Haroun is very communicative and met with us before and after the safari to make sure everything was great. They also provided accommodations in Arusha before and after the safari at a new hotel which had a good restaurant. Book with this company, you won’t be disappointed!

Never went camping, let alone a Safari so this was a ton of firsts for me - and I would totally recommend it. George our driver a was a friendly and worked hard to make sure we saw the animals we wanted to see: lions, monkeys, elephants, giraffes, hippos, hyenas, antelopes, flamingos and I could go on and on. We even managed to see a lion and a hyena hunt! It was really something to see. I suppose one downside is that George was a little less informed about the history of the Serengeti and ngorongoro. But that notwithstanding, he’s a good guide. The accommodations was better than expected: big enough to fit a carry on bag and change into the tent should you choose to. Sleeping bags were warm and cosy (but not all!) and area was safe with charging stations - less the zebras walking by lol. I would recommend bringing a few extra items such as a flashlight and a sweater because the night is really cold - but that could be because I am a camping newbie. The food and the animals were the highlight - in that order. Richard the cook deserves a RAISE. He followed us from campsite to campsite and cooked the freshest of meals from scratch: bread, lasagna, curry, chicken, cake, chapatis, beans, vegetables. You might gain some weight he’s that good. Go Richard. If you’re a newbie like me, I would totally recommend this safari. Mohamed the owner is a great dude and is always ready to answer all of your questions.

I did the 2-night/3-day camping safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater in early June and it was truly the best experience! I highly recommend the Travel Africa Safari company and this tour, especially if you are short on time and want to see as much as possible in just a few days. Our guide Joseph was so knowledgeable and kind, and our chef Richard made so much great food for us at every meal—together they really took the best care of us. Mohamed the owner is also very helpful in answering your questions and helping with planning, if you are outside the country you can just message him on WhatsApp and he is quick to respond. If you are traveling solo I also recommend this tour operator because they will place you in other small groups up to 6 people max (which is also a great way to meet fun people) and give you your own tent/room but they don’t charge you an extra premium or force you to do a private tour like some of the other operators. I was pleasantly surprised to actually meet quite a few other female travelers going solo like me and I always felt very safe. This was one of the more affordable safari tour options without sacrificing any of the comfort or experience, we saw all of the Big 5 and more including a pride of lions with 10 cubs eating a zebra. 10/10 must do!

Saw everything that I hoped to see in a stunning landscape. The transport and accommodation on my 3 day trip were better than expected. Basically, two days are spent in the Serengeti and one day in the Ngorongoro Crater. I am 70 years old but coped easily with the travel along sometimes uneven tracks, and spending two nights in a tent, for the first time in many years ! Our driver was Simon, who was friendly and informative. He worked tirelessly to get us to the best spots for game viewing and allowed us enough time to appreciate the animals and take our photos. I also have to mention the cooking on out trip which all my five fellow travellers agreed was astonishing considering that we were miles from anywhere ! The cook travelled with us and produced breakfast, lunch and dinner for us in more than enough quantities. Really tasty meals which we all appreciated. Alcohol too ! I would definitely recommend this trip.

Mohamed was here when we needed something or had questions about the tour. Benjamin, our tour guide was honestly really amazing. He told us many many things about the wild life and the animals. The jeep was comfortable. The food was so tasty. They really did something here. The campsites were quite good. Even wifi and charger points. We‘ve seen all the big 5!! Benjamin really tried his best. The only bit negative point was the hotel in arusha. It was really noisy in the evening and at night. I would still highly highly recommend this agency and espacially Benjamin.

We had a 3 day tour and had a great time. Some tips here is to be patient and trust the guide will take you to places, I remember at the beginning of the trip I didn't understand why we didn't stop to see a hippo submerged in water, only for the next day do be a few meters from 50-100 of them resting in a small lake. In short we saw a ton of animals and had a great time. With the cheaper prices you should realize you'll probably be camping, and to be honest, while it's not as comfortable I found it an unmissable experience to camp with all these animals around and we were treated to some amazing views at night. Make sure to bring something warm if you camp, it can get cold at night. I also really appreciated the food throughout the tour.

Our guide Will was super! He definitely went above and beyond. Camping in tents in the Serengeti in itself was tough, but we felt like we were in good hands.
