This is hands down, the jewel of our Moroccan experience. I could not recommend this tour enough for an unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience. A starting shoutout to our guide, Mouad - who exceeded every expectation! Duration: - We did a 4 day/3 night tour starting in Fes and ending in Marrakech. I'd recommend doing 3 nights because you get 2 nights in the desert which was the real highlight (under the stars, playing music & dancing by a bonfire) and then one night staying in the Dades Valley. Top highlights: - Learning from our guide Mouad and getting to know him opened a door into Moroccan culture (both traditional & modern) and history in a special way. He grew up in a nomad family in the desert and will educate you on both old & new ways of living - from growing up in tents and owning camels & sheep to what city life is like nowadays. Moroccans are so warm with one another - it's a tight knit community and seeing it real time was a real treat. Mouad really personalized the experience to us - when we mentioned wanting to see baby camels, he stopped at a local place and we saw a day old baby camel! He helped us bargain for authentic handmade Berbere rugs and remembered all the little details. - Driving ATVs in the sand dunes! This is an extra add on and extremely worth it. If you are too afraid to drive like me, a guide will drive for you and it's equally awesome. - Riding camels at sunset and staying in the desert at night. The glamping is very comfortable (hot showers, firm beds) and they put up hammocks so that you can read, look at the stars at night. You have a late dinner and they play traditional music on drums while you dance around a bonfire. Magical. Book this experience now! You will absolutely not regret it.

We booked the trip with Youssef and he was very responsive with all my questions. We had a great experience with our driver and guide, Mouad. Mouad was always punctual. He was very knowledgeable, cheerful and always checking that we were comfortable during the trip. He also knows all the best photo spots and took great photos of us. The sand dunes in the Sahara Desert were the highlight of the trip. Watching the sun set over the dunes was a beautiful experience. We stayed at the White Camp which had all the comforts of a hotel. More glamping than camping. Our tour was supposed to end in Fes but Mouad kindly agreed to drive us to Chefchaouen and Casablanca. We’d highly recommend Mouad and Sahara Desert Trips.

5 star AMAZING trip that exceeded all my expectations. The long ride from Marrakech to the Sahara to Fes was filled with interesting stops that allowed us to experience different facets of all that Morocco has to offer. Riding camels over the dunes, sand boarding, traditional Berber music by the fire, and a night sky filled with stars were truly a dream come true. The icing on the cake was our wonderful guide Brahim. He was so accommodating to our group and offered unique insights and interesting information over the 3 days we spent together. He is clearly proud of his country and culture and is a great representative for Morocco 🇲🇦. Plus, he’s so fun and charming - my whole family enjoyed his company and we’re glad to have a new friend. Highly recommend!

The trip was an incredible experience from the time Brahim picked us up in Marrakech to dropping us off in Fes and everything in between. He made sure we were comfortable the whole time and explained each of our stops thoroughly. I couldn’t have asked for a better guide for my first time in Morocco and would absolutely recommend him!

What a great experience! This is my 2nd time using Sahara Desert Trips, and Youssef and team outdid themselves this time, during the planning and any additional needs that came up during the trip. They arranged a trip for my family of 9 to travel from Marrakech to Fes through the Atlas Mountains. Such a memorable trip! The accommodations were terrific: comfortable and top-notch service, with delicious dinners included. Our driver Ali carefully got us from place to place comfortably and was an absolute delight. The highight was the Erg Chebbi overnight stay, where we got to sandboard on the dunes and enjoy the desert en route to our camp via camelback. Youssef even met up with us and joined in the camp festivities with some traditional Berber music. I can't say enough positive things about our guide, Brahim. He was so much fun to spend time with. The best thing about Brahim (besides his knowledge of Morocco and the sights he showed us around) was his demeanor and how we felt like we were visiting a friend who was showing us his home. He was so warm and inviting, and made sure that we were having a great time. He also knew just where to get the best pictures! I highly recommend asking for him! Thank you to everyone from Sahara Desert Trips who helped my family create memories for a lifetime!

In February of 2023, we had a phenomenal 4-day/3-night tour to the Erg Chebbi dunes with Sahara Desert Trips (from Marrakesh to Fes). Our driver Yousuf was incredible - kind, accommodating, safe, and adventurous/fun all at once. The camp was absolutely lovely, visually stunning and so comfortable - a shower in our tent, huge comfortable beds, and many many covers/blankets to keep us warm during the cold nights. Given it was February, it was colder than we expected and all of the staff at the camp did everything they could to make us comfortable - lighting bonfires at night, serving endless warm tea, offering more blankets for the tent. The food was delicious and they played drums/music at night - overall, it was an enchanting trip full of natural beauty and unforgettable experiences and I could not recommend the team and the tours they provide highly enough!

I initially emailed a few companies but Yusuf was the most responsive and helpful, hence I chose Sahara Desert Tours. His prices for the luxury tour wasn't the cheapest, but I felt assured booking it because he was upfront about what was being offered and what wasn't. We really liked our driver, Hosni, who took care of us during our 3D2N trip from Marrakech, ending in Fes. Thank you for a memorable trip to the Sahara!

Such an amazing trip, we travelled with the private tour, and were able to see so much. Our driver was kind, and informative and a perfect way to be able to see more of the country without having to plan out every detail and drive ourselves.

We had amazing experince with mohamed ben haddou. We got enough information, comfort, breaks. It is a long distance between Marrakesh and the dezert, but there was breaks, little trips, view points. Trip went without any problem.

We (my brother and I) have had a fantastic tour from Marrakech through the Atlas Mountains to the Sahara dessert. First of all we had great guides (thanks again Ahmed and Ali, you are the best and also very funny!) which were speaking English and explained a lot about the country and culture of Morocco. The drives were nice and the car was very comfortable. We stayed at very nice locations for pictures and shops and had a good and traditional lunch at the stops. The first overnight sleep was in a amazing hotel named Caluca Dades (including swimming pool and a bar). The next day we drove to the Sahara dessert where we had a nice Camel ride and looked to the sunset. Then we went to an amazing campsite named the dunes Luxury Camp were we had better beds and shower then at home!! The staff was also very friendly and at night we made some music and had some drinks (don’t forget to buy alcoholic drinks underway if you prefer them in the camp). In the early morning we went for the sunrise and afterwards had a nice breakfast. Then we headed back for a long drive back to Marrakech, but with our friendly guides and comfortable car you had nothing to worry about. We have very good memories regarding this tour, it was word every second and once again special thanks to Ahmed and Ali who created this experience for us!!

We had a 3 day trip from Marrakech to Fes. Everything went great; from the initial booking, pre-trip communication with Hosin, and the trip itself, I could not be more pleased. Our guide, Ahmed, and driver, Ali, were both fantastic. There were long days in the car, but fairly frequent (and very picturesque) stops and good conversation made the drives much better. Our night in the Erg Chebbi dunes was definitely the big highlight of our entire trip. Would highly recommend Sahara Desert Trips to anyone looking for a tour in Morocco.

My daughter and I were lucky to experience this 3 day Sahara Desert trip during our recent visit to Morocco and it was one of our most memorable travel experiences ever. We were picked up in Marrakech by our tour driver Mohammad on a rainy and cloudy day to start our journey and I was a bit worried since a good portion of this trip would take us through the Atlas mountains. I'm SO happy we had Mohammad as our tour driver for this trip. He was incredibly, kind, patient, conscientious, and most of all an incredibly good driver. Mohammad expertly navigated some scary roads through the beautiful yet snow covered roads through the mountains to get us safely to the Sahara. Along the way we stopped every few hours or so to see a landmark, visit a casbah, or to rest. It was a long eight hour drive but the time really does fly because of the many things to see and experience along this route. Once we arrived to the camp on our second day we started our camel ride into the dunes to catch the sunset and my daughter had a blast sand surfing while I watched lol. Back in the camp we had a lovely dinner prepared by the very friendly staff and since we were there during low season we had the camp all to ourselves. This really is a luxury camp--the rooms are immaculate and we had a blast around the camp fire enjoying songs and singing with the camp staff. Really can't say enough about this experience. HIGHLY recommend it. Thank you to the staff for making this a trip we won't soon forget.

This is such a wonderful way to maximize your time in Morocco and get to experience the gorgeous Sahara Desert. Our driver Rafa made our trip so enjoyable and the long drives very tolerable with his GREAT music. The camp conditions are perfect; the tents are spacious and beautiful with running water and comfortable beds. There's a lovely outdoor space where you can enjoy a bonfire and dancing; the camp coordinators and entertainers are also very welcoming. We had a wonderful time and recommend this tour to anyone visiting Morocco.

Went on a 3 day desert trip with hicham from Marrakech to fes. He was a remarkably kind man, very fun and great English. As two women we felt very safe with hicham and everywhere he brought us. He was always very open and Easy to ask questions to as well as always being willing to make emergency bathroom stops. He was a very safe driver and it was a very good vehicle for the trip. The camel ride was great, much more comfortable than expected. We stayed in a standard accommodation for night one which was lovely, and an upgraded tent for our second night. I’d highly suggest you go for a luxury tent, it was amazing! The upscale tents were nearly empty so the camel ride was just us and we had a very personalized experience. Of note, if you want to ride camels in the morning too you must tell your camp staff the night before so they can call the camel man! We didn’t we decided to walk into the dunes for sunrise. The only downside was the restaurants we visited for lunches, but I understand it is important for them to be sure it’s a clean restaurant so we do not become ill on the trip. Overall it was great and I would be glad to return!

we are on way to Marrakesh with our guide from Sahara Desert Crew, Ibrahim for 3 day trip, 1 night in camp trip from Fez to Marrakesh. Had a great experience as Ibrahim provided all relevant information during our trip of the places we visited and made stops to our needs. We have one more day left to visit a few places before we get to Marrakesh, which I am sure will be just as great. Youssef was also very prompt in his responses to plan this trip. Overall highly recommended!

~9 nights, 7 days in Morocco Marrakesh to Tangiers~ Overall: I would not recommend driving 8 hours a day, eating with only tourists, no other activities than shopping and having no historical or contemporary context. The tour company guide, Chariff, was not able to tell us much history. His politics of hypercapitalism, class hierarchy and even just not stopping for lunch wore us down. The Sahara Desert Tour company communication was very inconsistent, more unanswered emails than answers. We were not aware that the tour company guide can not accompany you in any city so arrange local guides ahead of time. We paid cash for the trip in a parking lot to the driver and were a little concerned about being left high and dry! We were moved from our hotel room after one night to another without notice. Of course, this effects our sleep. We couldn’t sleep in the desert due to drumming and talking at 2 am. Crawled out of bed 6 am, walked behind tents with four guests to the camels. Our camels were not there so we went back to bed. No morning camel ride. Good news: The luxury desert camp is fun, gorgeous and LOVED the evening camel ride on Erg Chebbi. Our long distance driver Zaid was great, caring, enjoys a laugh and helped us in any way possible. The tour guide~ Chariff was not enjoyable or knowledgeable. No one enjoys conflict or a bad holiday. Be careful booking here due to the long distance driving daily, lack of transparency, switching hotels, high costs for what you get and uninformative guide. A driver can realistically be arranged to take you on this well defined tourist route without the hassle of Sahara Desert Trip arranging it.

My two friends and I just had a wonderful 6 day trip to Morocco. I’ve made a few changes in my itineraries and Hosin was very patient and replied to my email promptly. We spent a night in Chefchaouen, Fes, Sahara Tent, and Ouarzazate. For some people, our itineraries are kind of tiring and rushing, but for us who had very limited days in Morocco, IT WAS perfect. I would love to share our journey in detail but then it might turn into a novel. Having a private tour is a hassle-free, not to worry about where to go day after or googling places to see or struggling with an offline map. After breakfast, jump into your 4x4 and zoom to the next place. They provided us 5 stars service and the accommodation is beyond expectation. All the people in the hotels and the camp are superb. The car is very comfortable, we completed the 2072km road trip pleasantly. We were so lucky to have Hami as our tour guide. We, three ladies, were very noisy and asked so many questions to Hami but he was very patient with us and answered our questions patiently. If your first-time visit was great, you will come back. If you don’t, you will not. So, I HIGHLY recommend Sahara Desert Trips travel agent and our friendly tour guide Hami to anyone who is planning to visit Morocco.

Where to start..Hami was incredibly professional the entire time, always putting our needs first. Smiley, engaging and fun throughout our three days! I would highly recommend a private tour, you get so much more than on a group one. Stopping for bathroom breaks, pictures etc.. was no hassle whatsoever. The sights were breathtaking, the vehicle was extremely comfortable. The drive is extremely long but you honestly don't notice it too much stopping off every short while. 10/10 highlight of our trip 😁

We booked the 4D3N desert tour from Marrakesh. Ever since we hopped on the car time started to pass so quickly despite the long hours on the road. The arrangements on transport, hotels, everything is spot on. The camp in the desert was exceptional. Our camp is super spacious and has it own bathroom and toilet. The water pressure is more than fine so we were able to get a nice hot shower after the camel ride. We were lucky to have two young inspiring Berbers, Hosin and Hami to be our guides. Hosin is knowledgeable and was very patient in answering our questions. Hami’s driving skill was excellent and we also felt safe on the toad. We learnt a lot about Morocco and the people, especially the Berber throughout the trip. We also booked them for taking us to Chefchaouen and then Casablanca and they were kind enough to accept our last minute booking.

We are from the states. My girlfriend and I travelled in a van with Mbarek and Brahim. They were welcoming, intelligent, and fantastic people to travel with. At no point did we feel unsafe. Mbarek was the tour guide and Brahim was the driver. Brahim's driving was safe and secure. Mbarek would always get out of the van with us and walk around with us. The highlight were the camels and staying overnight in the desert. I would recommend this trip for any couple or family. I would recommend getting your own private van as it made it more comfortable and intimate. Loved every part of this trip.
