The tour was amazing! Richard, our guide, was great. easy going and knowledgeable. The tour company was super accommodating also! The national park is beautiful and we saw a lot, Richard really took his time to show us a wide variety of animals!

The safari was excellent - we saw so much! Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. We booked the most basic accommodation and on reflection wish we had upgraded. Whilst the camp was clean, with friendly staff and our tent was comfortable it wasn’t very scenic, there was no wifi and limited food options. The safari itself was only 1.5 days. On the 3rd day you have an option of going to a Masai Village or a balloon trip for an extra cost.

We went on a 3 day Masai Mara safari from Nairobi with Pullman's Tours and Safaris en route to the Serengeti in Tanzania. Our driver / guide Bryson was with us all the time from picking us up at the hotel in Nairobi to delivering us (and seeing us on the plane) at the airship in the Masai Mara. Bryson was a very safe driver, friendly, spoke English very well and was extremely helpful and considerate particularly when driving slowly over the dirt bumpy roads in the Masai Mara. We had a great time and Bryson knew where to go to see the wildlife close up. I would recommend that you have a vehicle of your own (though more expensive) as you get a better experience without having to share

Pro - The driver I had was amazing. He knows all the spots and makes the journey smooth - Their written communication via email is good. They always reply within a few hours - You can basically join any time, no need to reserve a week in advance Con - I’ve found the in-person communication to be not sincere, as I got overcharged in person and it feels like they’d take any opportunity to earn extra money from me - The agenda includes fixed time at shopping area, and people can easily feel forced to buy things - Food may not be included in the package

Paul did such an amazing job organizing our trip. Our driver Charles also did an amazing job taking us to the best spots to see lions, hyenas, cheetahs, hippos, crocodiles and more. We got to see 17 lions close up beside our jeep which was extremely crazy! I could not be more pleased with our accommodations as well. I highly recommend anyone to do this!

Paul, the organizer for this trip has been amazing. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the months before we arrived in Nairobi. He set us up in a beautiful camp, where the service was excellent and food was delicious. Our main driver and guide, Charles, was awesome - punctual and knowledgeable on where to go in the park. We saw some amazing wildlife, something out of a movie!! I cannot thank Simba Para Safaris enough!

Simba Paka Tours was simply amazing!! Throughout the planning process, Paul, the owner was on point. He answered all questions and in a timely manner. He even answered when I mistakenly didn’t consider the time difference. He also assisted us with picking out a package that worked well for us. Our guide, Daniel, made sure we saw every animal and was informative, and personable. He drove safely and was prompt when picking us up for the day. He was wonderful!!

Outstanding experience. Paul went above and beyond to help and accommodate as well as answer all the questions I had and made me feel very welcome and cared for. Our driver and tour guide was Fred. He really took great care of us during our time in the Mara and did his best to make sure we had a great experience. We saw all the animals our heart desired. Many many many elephants and about nine or so lions among other wild life. Our stay was at a mid range lodge Enkorak. The food was really great and the service so wonderful. Staff were extra caring towards my son. I highly recommend this service.

I was planing to go to Masai Mara which was on my Bucket list for long. We planned on our own and started contacting Kenyan travel advisor and selected Sama Paka Safaris and contacted Mr Paul Kariuki from Mumbai who planned our itinerary and it was a great help . We stayed in Mara Chui Camp in Masai Mara for 3 days and really enjoyed the hospitality. The cottage was good and our stay was very comfortable. The food was excellent and the breakfast spread was not limited .

My family and I (including two daughters aged 12 and 8) have recently returned from an excellent Maasai Mara safari experience with Simba Paka. We stayed at Enkorok Camp which was perfect as a mid-range tented camp, with very good food, attentive service and a reassuring security presence round the clock. Our guide and driver was Francis, who took excellent care of us and made sure we had close sightings of a very wide range of animals. We saw all of the “big five” apart from rhino…but this was made up for by a sighting of a serval cat which is extremely rare. Paul, the owner of Simba Paka, was also responsive and reliable throughout. All in all an experience to be recommended. We plan to come back!

This tour is a must if you are visiting Kenya! Paul, Sarah and the team at Simba Paka Safaris were exceptional! Responses to questions were answered via email prior to our trip in a very timely and professional manner. We were picked up from our hotel, transported by Paul to meet the guide, Andrew, (who is First Class also) and his vehicle in Nairobi. Then our incredible experience to the Masai Mara began!! Truly do not have the right words to articulate just how fantastic our time was!! We were fortunate to be visiting at the start of the Wilderbeast migration, there was so much activity we were mind blown!! We saw pretty much every animal and bird that spends time in the Masai Mara mainly due to Andrew and his exceptional knowledge of the reserve!! The vehicle we travelled in was perfect for the terrain and was very comfortable! Our accommodation at Mara Nvodu was pleasant, clean and functional. The staff were wonderful. On the morning of the last day we visited the local Masai village where we were fortunate to meet members of the village tribe who opened their homes to us and shared some of their culture. We were transported back to our hotel after a truly memorable tour! Thank you Andrew, Paul and Sarah for helping us to make a dream come true!! We are hoping to be back again some day!!

I am overdue writing this review (my trip was in February 2023). The safari was incredible. I communicated with Paul via email to get it all set up, and then Ronnie (sp?) was my safari guide on the actual trip. Paul picked me up at my hotel in Nairobi and took me to meet the guide + rest of those on my group, and then Ronnie drove us all out to Masai Mara, was our guide for the duration of the trip, and drove us back to the city. I was a woman traveling alone (I'm 32, American) and I felt safe on the trip and well looked after by Ronnie, and it was fun to go with a group also to meet people. (With accommodations, I was very glad I opted for the mid-range option, could've probably even splurged on a luxury option! Budget would've been camping like in a tent-tent with detached shared bathroom. A couple men traveling solo in our group did this. Their campsite staff seemed very nice, but I was glad to have a bathroom/shower in my larger safari-style tent, and also a regular bed! In the mid-range which I did, I had the en-suite bath, a hot water shower, very comfortable bed, and meals included. I sat on the porch of my tent and watched the sunrise over the mountains drinking coffee, and then went and saw amazing animals in the most beautiful park I've ever been to. The safari itself was incredible. It's a bit of a drive out there (and the roads are unpaved the last ~80min or so, just to be aware of), but when you get to the park, you can't help but agree it's worth the trip. We were probably in the park for 10 minutes before I was looking right at a giraffe outside of our jeep. We saw like 20 lions. Leopards. Zebras. Wildebeests. Elephants. Baby elephants. More giraffes! (my favorite). Ronnie, our safari guide was SO knowledgeable about how to find all of the animals in the MASSIVE park. We'd just drive for miles over these unmarked small unpaved roads, and then arrive at a cheetah taking a nap under a tree. It was so cool. (Also a note - if you're debating between Masai Mara and Amboseli, I may have only been to the Mara, but I would choose it every time. From what I'd read before, and what I definitely saw for myself, Masai Mara itself even outside the animals is so stunning. The scenery is beautiful. I loved just driving through the park between animal sightings and looking at the nature all around. It was WELL worth the cost, an amazing experience, quite safe, and I would 100% recommend it and book again with this company.

I want to thank you Paul for all the organization: the experience was amazing! Thanks also to our guide Dikson, he was very kind and funny! I loved everything, from the camp to the food and, of course, the stunning Masai Mara. We were lucky because we saw so many animals, also a leopard which was very close to our car. Asante sana 🙏

From my arrival at the Nairobi airport they made me feel at home the treatment they provided me was great and fantastic they picked me up at the airport at dawn and took me to breakfast by the way Paul who is a great host I paid my bill from there we transported to Maasai With a driver of the best Anthony, the trip was pleasant and full of many adventures. Everything that was promised to me in the package was fulfilled from where I slept, meals, transportation and especially the safari, which has been one of the best experiences of my life. life. If you are looking for a safari in Kenya, Simba Paka Safari is your best choice. I have verified it myself and the experience has been wonderful. I decided on a 3-day solo, mid-range group joining tour and Paul, the owner, exceeded my expectations! He answered all of my questions promptly and reassured me when I was wary about traveling alone, and coordinated pick up and drop off at the airport, and also arranged a day for a private driver to take me to the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage and the Giraffe Center at the end of the Safari. His attention to detail, ease of communication, and reasonable cost was what made me choose Simba Paka and I couldn’t be happier! I stayed at the Enkorok Mara Lodge and the food and service was excellent, as well as the room cozy and comfortable. During our game drives, Francis, our driver, was knowledgeable and gave us every opportunity to see all of the animals and 4 of the 5 Big 5! He went out of his way to try to spot a rhino, but they were in hiding when we were there. He was always prompt and was a great driver on those dirt roads. Everything about Simba Paka Safaris is excellent, you cannot go wrong!

Fantastic safari break with Simba Paka. Our driver Rahim was excellent and looked after us all from the moment we were picked up in Nairobi until the moment we were dropped off again. Had a great time in the park, it really was an excellent few days. The camp we stayed in was great as well, easily catered for vegans and the accommodation was perfect. Absolutely no complaints and would highly recommend this company.

This tour was the experience of a lifetime and I cannot thank Paul enough for making this possible! He was so helpful and quick to respond to any questions and made all problems disappear. The quality for the mid-range price point exceeded all expectations. The booking, logistics and support were flawless, my accommodation at the Enkorok Mara camp was the perfect location at which to stay, and our driver/guide Joshua gave us the best possible safari experience.
