We were blessed with passionate guides who were wells of information and sprinkled flares of humour between locations which brightened up the tour perfectly. I highly recommend this tour and out two guides Gunnar and Diddi.

The guide, Vjeran was terrific; very knowledgeable about volcanism and Icelandic history. The trip itself was the pits! Driving for hours at a time over the most barren and bleak landscape that I have ever seen in my travels about the world. Quick stops: here's a little waterfall, grab a photo and back on the bus. I would only suggest this trip to my enemies if I had any. Art K. ( 3 day tour, April 9-11, 2024

I can't say enough about this trip! It was our first time to Iceland and Vjeran made our visit memorable. He was an amazing guide with loads of tips, information and incredible stories. The ice caves were INCREDIBLE - it was worth every minute in the rain and sloppy snow/slush. Even though we got wet to the core, we would do it again in a heartbeat. The glaciers and waterfalls were mezmerizing - Vjeran knew which ones to stop at, how long to stay and even included some "extra" sights because he knew they were worth it, even if they might have been a little off the beaten path.

This tour was amazing! Our tour was led by Vjeran, and he was absolutely a core part of the experience. He kept us on track with all of the listed activities, but whenever we passed a cool spot (and had the time) he went out of his way to stop and provide information about how the spot was formed or why it was so cool/unique! This was supposed to be a once in a lifetime trip for us, but we fell in love with Iceland so much that we will absolutely be back again in the future! We would be thrilled to book again through Arctic adventures and we would follow Vjeran anywhere!

Amazing trip. Vjeran was our guide and was passionate about his home country, Iceland. His stories about the landscapes he took us too brought them to life. Would recommend this three day tour to anyone who wants to visit as much of Iceland as they can.

My partner and I opted in for the 3 day golden circle south coast tour with Bjorn as our guide. If I could give more than 5 stars I most certainly would and this is primarily due to the added pleasant experience adapted by our tour guide. We experienced some unprecedented weather conditions (with Bjorns experienced driving we always felt safe!) which unfortunately didn’t allow us to see some of the items on the itinerary but Bjorn quickly adapted and added some great alternatives! We also didn’t get to see the northern lights but we never felt short of our experience. arctic adventures have a well thought itinerary and we wanted to personally thank Björn for making it even better.

I went on a 3 day tour of golden circle, south coast and katla ice cave with Chris as the tour guide. I must say, i thoroughly enjoyed this trip! Not only because Iceland is beautiful but Chris the guide was amazing! He was funny, friendly and quite informative. He guided us really well throughout and made sure we enjoyed everything to the fullest. I especially liked that he even guided us on where to wear light stuff and where to completely wrap ourselves with winter/waterproof clothes. There were many stops during the trip for bathroom/lunch/coffee that made our trip super comfortable. The minivan had charging spots as well which was amazing as we never ran out of battery. Ofcourse Iceland is beautiful but I think having a good tour guide and well managed itineraries made our trip even better! Thank you AA and Chris.

A tour you really can't go wrong with, striking a perfect balance between driving time and sights. If you have 3 days, it's a great option to get you out of the city and experience a bit more of what Iceland has to offer. Starting with the golden circle, you'll get to visit some of Iceland's usual suspects before venturing off the beaten path and along the south coast. Each day wraps with a return to Adventure Iceland's HQ in Klapparstígur; a quant hotel featuring simple rooms and cabins. You won't find amenities like TVs and a pool, but you will be treated to comfy beds, hot showers, all nestled in a quiet nook, back from the main motorway. Best of all, the tour offers the option to end your day in the hotel restaurant, serving hearty and comforting meals and atmosphere. For a bit extra, of course. If you wind up with Kristofer as a guide, consider yourself very lucky. He was incredibly warm and inviting, as quick with local facts as he was with a good joke. We felt welcome from the first moment, and will truly look back on our time fondly. Kris also runs a tight ship, making sure that everyone is safe and comfortable. He was quick to rearrange our agenda to match whether conditions, make up for lost time, or even fit in extra, when time allowed. Kris: hoping we're able to catch up with you again on our next visit.

This trip was a great way to see all of the highlights of the Golden Circle and the southern part of Iceland. We covered all the included stops plus had time to go to a few extra sites as well. There are plenty of stops to use the toilet and have a snack, but be prepared to stay busy the whole three days. The hotel was simple, but the rooms were clean, comfortable and the restaurant at the hotel had something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this trip.

Tour was exceptional, the scenery, the history, all so amazing. Our tour guide Kacper being so excited to show us and teach us as much as he can was awesome. Some places were quite a bit of hiking but the view at the top was always worth it. An amazing time in Iceland

A 3-day private tour covering Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, Diamond Beach, Vatnajokull, Skaftafell, Glacier Wonders, Svartifoss, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Eldhraun lava field, Skógafoss and Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. The grandeur and unique beauty of these sights are such that they are best left to personal experience. Words will not do justice, so I will not even try. And there were many memorable experiences not foreseen - driving though a blizzard on a high mountain pass for example, a dust storm, "horizontal" snowfall in 30+kmph winds ... absolutely loved these interludes between places. And the pinnacle of our experience was undoubtedly our more -than-able guide and conductor Vjeran. A person who packs knowledge, wisdom, caring, flexibility and friendship into his 194-cm persona, an untiring bundle of energy, always eager to experience something new, yet always sensitive to our physical limits and constraints in what we were attempting to do. Þakka þér fyrir Vjeran, for helping us assemble experiences and memories for a lifetime !

Tour itself was very good. Customer service with the booking office was terrible. Tried to modify reservation & was told different things by different representatives, was not able to resolve the issue. This caused us to miss the deadline for a refund for the 4th day, seemed like the company was trying to prevent a refund by late responses & different information.

This was the most amazing experience ever! We travel with our 12 years old and he enjoy it as much. Our guide Kasper made it super fun, he explains everything and answer all of our questions, he is the best guide I have ever know, I recommend this tour and this travel company.

This tour was simply amazing - from beginning to end. The landscapes, the activities, everything we saw and witnessed was jaw-droppingly spectacular. We loved the group vibe (even though we usually travel independently). But above all, our driver and guide Kasper made the tour extra special with his knowledge, energy and good humour. I can honestly recommend this experience !!

This tour was everything we hoped it'd be and more. It's perfect for couples, families, and solo travellers alike. Our tour guide "Thress" (might have spelled wrong) was incredible in every sense - he shared so many interesting facts along the routes to each destination and made plenty of stops for snacks/meals/restrooms. Many of the most beautiful, memorable parts of our vacation to Iceland were from this 3-day tour. I would recommend it (and Arctic Adventures) to absolutely anyone.

I cannot express how amazing this tour was. Ronan was THE MOST AMAZING tour guide...super funny, super knowledgeable and made the trip so fun! This was a fantastic way to see the many sights of South Coast, Glacier Lagoon/Diamond Beach, Glacier Hike, Golden Circle, ALL the waterfalls and then some, in a short amount of time. Ronan took us to 3 or 4 extra surprise places every day as well, which just made the tour that much better. I cannot recommend this tour company and Ronan as a tour guide enough. Perfect experience beginning to end!!!

This was our first time to Iceland and what a brilliant tour to introduce us to this beautiful country. Whilst Artic Adventures did keep us informed well the main star of the show was out guide Bjorn - he was passionate about his country and this showed for not only did he educate us at each location, but also talked whilst driving to tell us what to look out for - albeit by the end we still could not pronounce the words. On top of that we also had a few extra small detours such as seeing/feeding some Icelandic Horses, home made ice cream and extra waterfalls - all of which made the trip.

I had an incredible and unbelievable time in Iceland on this tour. Our tour guide Mitch took us so some of the most unreal places I have ever seen in my life. All whilst giving us plenty of interesting information about the specific environments and culture as well as folk lore for the region. His balance of facts and humour made the drives quick and enjoyable whilst seeing incredible views. We saw even more than was on the list due to our dedicated tour guide Mitch. The group size was perfect and met many amazing people. I hope to be back someday!

Absolutely amazing!!! I can not rate this experience enough. Our guide Alex was wonderful, friendly, and did a great job. This trip is extensive, and you see so much of the beautiful nature Iceland has to offer. We stopped at delicious lunch spots, and our accommodation was clean and very comfortable. I particularly liked the evening group meals at the restaurant attached to the accommodation. The food was delicious, the wine lovely. Also very nice breakfast. The fact that you can hire hiking boots and waterproof things was a bonus for me as I did not need them for the rest of my Europe trip. Do yourself a favour and book!!!

I did the three day tour and loved it so much I had to come on here and rave about it. We originally had booked the four day tour, but it was canceled due to weather. The customer service was speedy and helped me rebook for their 3 day tour, and were always quick to respond when I had any questions. It is definitely true that having a great guide makes or breaks the tour, and we had a great guide. Thor was patient, funny, knowledgeable, and so amazing. He made sure we saw all the best views and tailored each day to make the most of the light since we visited in January and the days were shorter. We had plenty of time at each location, was blessed to have great weather, and had such an amazing time overall. Highly recommend!!!
