I went with my wife and friends on this 3-day tour through the Isle of Skye and Inverness Highlands, and it was an absolute blast! Michael was an unbelievable tour guide and driver; I still can't believe he did the job of 2-people by himself, and he did it so well! We saw so many beautiful sites, had fun meeting new people on the bus, and ate delicious food throughout (take Michael's food and drink recommendations...and ESPECIALLY get the meat pies from Mohr Bread!!) It was nothing but fun and laughs for us. I highly recommend booking this tour and try to get Michael if you can! He really puts the tourist's experience at the forefront of his tours. I can't believe 3-days went by so quickly!

This is a great trip to see as much of the Scottish Highlands as possible. We had an amazing driver and tour guide, Stevie, who was so knowledgeable and fun!

Really enjoyed Glencoe and Isle of Skye. Wish we had re-watched Harry Potter; GOT; and James Bond Skyfall. William was our tour guide and he was amazing. Highly recommend this tour. Make sure you wear layers and bring a raincoat.

Our driver/tour guide, William, was AMAZING. Not only was he a very adept driver, he was a fantastic storyteller with a witty sense of humor. He was knowledgable and personable with great suggestions. The tour itself was fun. We enjoyed feeding the hairy cows, seeing the breathtaking views of the Isle of Skye, hanging out in Inverness, and all of the historic tidbits.

It’s been the best tour I had in my life. Brian Smith guided us through the beautiful highlands as a true Jack Sparrow. He is an experienced driver and super funny guy, moreover he perfectly knows how to engage the audience with his interesting speeches about Scotland. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our 3-day Isle of Skye trip with John and Peter. Both gentlemen were extremely knowledgable about the sites, the countryside, Scotland's history and the routes taken each day. We saw so many sites, learned so much about Scotland and all the while were comfortable as we traveled all around the Highlands of Scotland. We felt that we had the perfect amount of time at each location to experience the culture and sites. We have a new found love and appreciation for the country of Scotland, all because of this tour. Michael of The Hairy Coo was our tour guide. Let me start off by saying I've been to 47 countries through 30 international trips. Michael was one of the best tour guides I've ever experienced, and I know my tour group also felt the same way. We did a 3 day Isle of Sky tour from Edinburgh/Inverness. This guy has a passion for this job, and it shows. Constantly keeping us entertained. I hope others get the chance to experience a tour with him before he leaves (he's getting married!).

We just returned from the 3-Day Isle of Sky tour hosted by the man himself, John, King of the North, and driven by strong hand of Peter the Brave (brave for those winding roads!). A better tour of Scotland and its rich history will not be found! So much was packed into those three days but we never felt rushed. I highly recommend this tour and would absolutely book again without hesitation. Thanks for all the food recommendations and we will return for a Glasgow trip and perhaps convince you to add a football tour in there? 😎

The 3 day tour of the Scottish highlands and Isle of Skye was a wonderful way to explore some of the most beautiful areas of Scotland! We had a great time on the tour and our driver William was awesome. He knew all the history of Scotland but also had a great sense of humour so made it super fun! Appreciate him also driving back to the Glenfinnan Viaduct as when we first went they shut the parking (even for buses), but we were able to go back a bit later. Highly recommend this tour!

We just returned from Scotland where we had an amazing week. We did the Hairy Coo 3 day tour of the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. We were lucky enough to have Fraser McLoughlin as our guide, as he was so engaging and knowledgeable. He has such a great personality and is a great story teller. It is readily apparent that he is a proud Scotsman and loves country and culture, and enjoys informing his tour groups about both. He made the tour a load of fun. The tour itinerary itself was high-yield as we were able to see a lot in the 3 days without it feeling rushed. The bus was clean and comfortable, and there were plenty of breaks to stretch one's legs, get a snack, or use the restroom. We would heartily recommend the Hairy Coo tours without reservation!

Thank you Rod for making this an amazing experience. Had a fabulous 3 days as a non- driver this was the best way to see so many amazing places and met some lovely people from all parts of the world. The bus was clean and comfortable. Plenty stops to take photos, pick up snacks and loo breaks.Rod our driver was fantastic, funny, made sure everyone was happy.Kept us all going with historical stories and interesting facts. When stopping for lunch made sure we knew where to go for eating. Most of the time everyone arrived back at bus on time if not you had to sing a song. Best tour ever, from someone who lives in Scotland and a non driver, it was a great way to see the Highlands and Skye. Our guide Rod was amazing full of knowledge, even had his own stories to tell, which were hilarious and the banter kept us all going. He also recommended places to eat at every stop which was a great help as we were on a time schedule. Rod definitely made this trip. Met some lovely people from all over the world. I would say to sit on the left hand side of the bus, as a lot of the land marks are on that side. If everyone is back on the bus on time, Rod was able to stop at more places for photos. Well worth doing this trip, would highly recommend The Hairy Coo trips.

Everything about this trip was amazing! We saw many interesting sites on the ride up to Inverness, then spent a spectacular day on the Isle of Skye, and then saw more interesting sites on the way back to Edinburgh. The tour guide, Wee Stevie, was better than I could imagine! He arranged for an excellent experience at every stop. He took great care of us, making sure that we had all the information we needed to enjoy every stop. Wee Stevie also told great (and hilarious) stories, including historical stores and legends, kept up a funny commentary to entertain us, and taught us Scottish songs to sing as we traveled along.

Brian Smith is an excellent guide for a multi-day tour of Scotland. His enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the country's history shone through during our visit to the Highlands and the Isle of Skye. Brian's use of humor and music added depth to his storytelling and kept our entire group engaged throughout the three-day tour. It never felt like he was just providing a tour; he was with us, experiencing the grandeur of this magnificent country. His compelling stories resonated with the group, making the trip an unforgettable experience.

He made an effort to make as many stops possible in a relatively short time. Though we didn't have enough time to appreciate in several places, the tour was great.
