We booked this trip weeks before we flew to Morocco. Communication is smooth and everything is transparent. We were welcomed warmly by our guide Muhamed Marouiche who picked us up at our riad. Our guide is very kind and informative. His car is comfortable even for the bumpy road near Sahara. Our guide explained the itinerary to us clearly and tailor made the stops for us. He is very knowledgable and he shared many fun facts about Morroco. His experience of touring international visitors from all walks of life makes our communication very smooth. The tour is well-paced and lunch/toilet breaks could be arranged very flexibly. Our tour guide always helps us take photographs as well! The Sahara camp is amazing. We never expect to have that clean and cosy place to stay in a desert. The bed is big and cosy. I will recommend the tour to anyone who wish to have an experienced local guide to arrange a hassle free journey to Sahara desert.

Amazing experience! In 3 days we saw a lot of beautiful places and landscapes, from the Ifran mountain (It seems really a village in the Mountain in Europe) to the desert, passing through hills, villages, cities and valleys. We spent a comfortable and suggestive night in the desert near Merzouga, and another night in a beautiful hotel in Dades Valley, with great view on the valley (the light at the sunset worth the hour of sleep that you lost!), after a visit to Todra Valley. Our driver Boykban Ali has bene more than amazing: good driver, very nice person, take care of us in every single detail...and answered my million questions, many thanks Ali!! We meet a lot of good people during our stops

This tour was perfect! We went from Marracash to Fes, stopping in amazing places and spending one night in the Sahara desert which was a magic experience. Bouyakbane Ali was our driver and he was the best: he explained us so many things, he had an answer and a solution for everything. He was fun and kind. And he made satisfied all our requests even if was about unplanned things and stops along the way! We highly recommend him as your driver and guide. The hotels and meals included in the tour were very good and beautiful and even if we had standard accomodation in the desert camp they upgraded us to the luxury camp with no extra money. Ali was always talking with locals to get the best prices for us during the lunches. All the staff in the desert camp was so nice and smart and welcoming. We couldn't ask for a better experience! Our guide Ibrahim really made this trip special. The route from Fes to Marrakech via the Atlas Mountains and Sahara desert was spectacular but it was the guide’s intimate knowledge of the sites, history, people and culture that brought the experiences in this region of Morocco to life. My wife and I had a very interesting few days with Ibrahim and we would highly recommend both the company and him as a first rate guide. Communication with Marrakech Camel Tours was excellent. The whole trip was well managed and ran very smoothly. Good value for money.

My husband and I had the best time with Mohammed and Hamid. They are a great team, so polite and with excellent English. They stopped at tons of great places along the way, and they were so welcoming and friendly. Mohammed is an awesome driver (this felt huge given some of my other experiences in cars in Fez!!) and Hamid knows so much about the region. It was a beautiful trip that flew by. Also the desert tour was lovely- the accommodations were clean and far exceeded expectations. The camels looked healthy and well taken care of (this was important to me.) This was well worth it and highly recommend. Oh and Hamid is an excellent photographer!!

My husband and I did the Fes-Marrakech tour with Mohammed & Hamid, which was fantastic. Hamid is very fluent in English, kind and knowledgeable, and takes time to explain the surroundings and remind us that we don't need to buy anything at shops we were taken to (which were all interesting anyway!). Mohammed is a really smooth and safe driver which really helped - some of the tracks are quite windy and hilly. I found that having both Mohammed and Hamid made us feel a little like we are joining their road trip which was great, and relaxing. The benefit of doing a private tour is that there's some flexibility with time, and we were able to stop wherever to admire the views, along the way. The accommodations we were taken to were great (particularly Kasbah Didis which had wonderful views). Overall, we would highly recommend this tour.

This trip was an incredible part of our honeymoon in Morocco. Our driver, Zaid, was excellent the whole way through — very funny and warm and accommodating to any stop or small detour we wanted to make. The highlights for us were unquestionably feeding the berber monkeys and riding through the Sahara desert by camel. It truly felt like we were in a movie, the scenery was so unbelievably breathtaking. An absolute once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our camp in the desert was much more modern and comfortable than we expected -- better than some of the riads we've stayed at during our trip. And the staff at the camp were so thoughtful and generous, and they surprised us with a song, dance and cake to celebrate our honeymoon. It was genuinely one of the nicest moments we've experienced, and we'll remember it forever. The rest of our tour was incredible as well, and we very much enjoyed seeing so much of Morocco. The country's natural beauty was a surprise to us, but every view along the drive is so special.

We did a 3 day / 2 night expedition from Fez to Marrakech via the desert. Our guide Hassan was very kind and did everything to make our experience enjoyable. This formula is very interesting for traveling such great distances in greater comfort than the bus. Highly recommended, especially with Hassan!

My husband and I were hesitant about the long hours in the car each day initially but after reading the reviews decided to book. HOW THANKFUL we are!! The SUV Ali toured us in the whole time was incredibly comfortable and took the bumpy roads well. He is kind and respectful and truly caring in how he guides and takes care, we felt we more friends than "customers". The desert and camel riding into the sunset, staying in the tents and sunrise dune hiking was most definitely the best part! Although seeing the terrain and villages from Fez to Marrakech, through high desert and mid-Atlas really allowed us to see the country. We would not have truly experienced Morocco by not going on this tour to see more than just cities! Thank you Marrakech Camel Trips! p.s. If you get car sick, bring bands or dramamine...I wore bands the whole time and was fine through the winding mountain roads (Ali is a great & cautious driver!)

I did a 3 day tour through desert and Dades valley and couldn’t have been more happy with the company and its organization. I did tour with Rashid who was excellent from beginning to end and answering all the questions. They were very prompt in responding prior to trip. The desert luxury camp was one of a kind and would highly recommend to everyone. Their hospitality, tents and food was excellent. Spending a night in the desert is truly a unique experience. The other days were equally as good traveling from desert to Marrakech and visiting all the well known spots. I would highly recommend the company and give them 5 stars!!

My sister and I had a fantastic 3 day journey from Fes to Marrakesh. Aziz and Ali were very kind and explained all about the places we visited and the Berber culture. The first night we stayed in the desert camp, listened to Berber music and watched the stars. On the second day we asked if we could have a longer stop in Todra Gorge to go rock climbing there. Aziz and Ali changed the itinerary a bit so we would make it in time for our climbing session which we organized ourself with aventures verticales. I would really recommend this trip to anyone. The Moroccan views are beautiful and this organization really want you to get the best experience possible.

We had a great time on our 3-day Saharan trip with our guide Omar with Marrakesh Camel Tours! We booked the tour before getting to Morocco for the 4 of us, my husband, toddler, mother-in-law and me. Everything was very smooth, from the communication via email with Brahim to all the pick-ups, drop-offs and transfers. As a family, Omar was very accommodating and made it very easy for us to enjoy our experience. He was great with our daughter and was happy to look after her when we needed an extra set of hands. This included carrying her all the way up to Ben Ait Haddou and through the local markets. Omar was very chill and relaxed, never rushing us. He was engaging and we enjoyed many long conversations along the way. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a very intimate understanding of his perspectives as a Berber himself. The Sahara was a great way to appreciate Morocco and its mainly Berber population outside of the tourist city centres. I would recommend this trip for anyone who is visiting Morocco.

We reserved this trip for me and my girlfriend via website. We paid a deposit via paypal. The planed day Lahsan picked us in our Riad in Fes and everything was really smooth. He taka care of us during the three days, stoping in amazing spots to take pictures, buying us water, explaning us the rute and the highlights... He definetly made our trip! The experience in the desert was breathtaking and the night there is something that we will not forget. Really welcoming people, lovely hima, tasty food! We really recomend the experince to everybody thinking to visit Moroco!

I would recommend this trip to anyone who would like to experience the magnificence of Morocco. Our guide, Rachid was punctual - always on time. He was fun and made sure that we were comfortable and happy. He showed us places that we would miss if we did not take this Desert tour. It rained briefly while we were driving and saw the most amazing red waterfalls. The camp and resort we stayed was very good. Thank you Rachid and Brahim!

You may feel - as I did- somewhat hesitant about booking a trip in advance for 7 people for 3 days in Marocco, costing about 1400 euro in total. Were they going to show up in time? Was the transport going to be okay? Would the driver speak English? Would there be any other hidden costs involved? Would the hotels be okay? My worries were completely unnecessary. Driver Hassan showed up 5 minutes before our appointed time at the doorstep of our hotel. He was very friendly, courteous and he spoke excellent English. The car was an new and neat and very comfortable airconditioned minibus for 7 people. Hassan drove us safely to all places on our trip. What's more: Hassan stayed in contact with all other people and places involved in our trip, so everything went smoothly. For instance when we were driving, Hassan kept the camel drivers in the desert camp informed by phone, so they knew when we would arrive, and they would be ready for the camel trip. Or he phoned the hotel to notice them we were coming. It really was a personalized trip, and Hassan was absolutely dependable and friendly. Ask for him as your driver. We booked the luxury trip, which was really worth the price. It's a bit more expensive (around 200 euro for the 3 day trip fez marrakech, one hotel night and one desert camp night). The xaluca dades hotel was really excellent, for some of us the best hotel we have ever been. The desert camp is an experience to never forget. Manager of Marrakech Camel trips is Brahim. Brahim always responds quickly by mail. We met in the desert camp. He left it up to us to decide when we wanted to pay for the trip: in the camp or at the end of the journey, which shows you how they trust people. (i paid 100 euro's in advance and the rest in the desert camp. I have no reservations whatsoever to recommend Brahim and Hassan. Travelling would be lots more fun when every tour organisation in other countries were as professional and friendly and reliable as Brahim and Hassan.

The tour is amazing!The guide Aziz and the driver Ali are two young and professional guys who will make your trip very plesant:they are so attent to yor request and very disponible to schedule changing.My girlfriend and me had very good time in the 4 days spent toghether, with a lot of information and fun.

My boyfriend and I have spent a special time with Ali and Aziz who drove us from Fes to Marrakech trough Merzouga and the desert. They have been attentive and careful to any our desire, gave us all the information we needed about their beautiful region and made us feel like family guests. All the tips they gave us have been very helpful, Ali has a very safe way of driving and Aziz's English is perfect. Both of them always find a way to put a smile on our face! Looking forward to the next adventure together!
