The tour was amazing we enjoyed very much, it was a wonderful experience. It is 4 hours long and yet there are so many things to do. The church of 11 th century svetickoveli is simply beautifull. Givi(Freddy) explained everything in detail while maintaining a positive vibe. Mtsketa, the first capital of Georgia truly is a hidden gem of this amazing country. Timing is perfect and thankfully there was no delay as well. If you go to Georgia book the tours with budget friendlye official, they are the best and always full of energy. tour guide made our day he would entertain us, he was so energetic, he was also a wonderful photographer. thank you sir you made our day. Thank you drive George who made sure that everything was smooth and safe. Didi madloba Sakartvelo, Didi madloba budget friendly

Dimitri (sorry if I spell it wrong) was friendly and well taken care of the group and Hi bye guy was super fun intro in the beginning loved that introducing the driver to us :)) we had a chance to try Georgian dessert and wine but no pressure on purchase like it’s written on the tour description. Our tour group everyone was engaging since Dimitri was trying to make all of us feel comfortable and enjoy. It was 4 hour short tour highly recommended if you have only one day layover or short days.

A beautiful old capital of Georgia! Amazing historical monuments well taken care of by UNESCO . We planned our trip with Budget Friendly Tours and they are the best in town as all their guides are super energetic and informative! We did our trip with Givi and Nikolas- very young and full of life they made our experience so amazing with David who was our bus driver ❤️ with a little wine tasting at the end of the tour!

Although it was a short time, I was able to learn everything about Mtskheta. The friendly guide's explanation was also very good. Thank you.

I did 2 tours in Georgia with this group. They are extremely fun loving, entertaining and knowledgeable tour guides. Both my tours (Kazbegi and Mstkheta) were very well managed and scenic. The tour was filled with location carrying rich Georgian history and culture. Our tour guide Chinka and Lasha told us so many amazing things about the places we visited. The coach/bus used were comfortable and we got sufficient breaks for food and restrooms use. Highly recommend them. 😊

Another fabulous trip from Budget Friendly Tours, this time just a half day one, so perfect for my last day in Tbilisi. After once again meeting the fantastic team of Budget Friendly Tours at the meeting point, I found out that Givi was the guide of this trip. I had already met him at the Kazbegi tour, so already knew he was both very knowledgeable and fun! We were a small group from 5 different countries. Givi had us feeling Iike we had already known each other for quite some time within the first half hour. It was raining, but with the green umbrellas thoughtfully provided by Budget Friendly Tours, nobody was bothered about that. In the Javari monastery and the Svetitskoveli cathedral, once again I was impressed by how much Givi knows about church history and the architecture. Givi also knows a lot about history in general and was giving us information on many other things Georgian too, but carefully avoiding that overload of information you sometimes get with other (dare I say "old-style?) guides. We had time for a nice coffee break in between visiting the Unesco sites in beautiful Mtskhete. After the last site, we walked through the town of Mtskhete where there was the possibility of trying wine ice-cream. Weird that this ice-cream comes in the colours purple and pink. Then onto a nice wine tasting in a beautiful little shop, with a wonderful lady telling us about the different wines and chacha. This 4 hour tour is really nice and was made extra special by Givi (aka Freddie). I can really recommend it. Thank you Givi, it was a pleasure meeting you and having you as a guide!

It's a little over a month ago that we were in Georgia, but we still can't get over our wonderful tour with Dmitri as our guide in Mtskheta!!! He was very knowledgeable, cool and very passionate with his roots! He explained eloquently and took great pictures! He loves kids too, which is a plus point. To be honest, we didn't expect so much from the tour because we thought that it was just the basic: wine tasting, UNESCO heritage sites and some history, but we are so wrong!! The tour was so underrated. Not only we fell in love with this beautiful country, but we were amazed in its culture and history. This tour gives you something you won't learn from books unless you experience it first hand: that is, Georgia should be considered as one of the oldest civilizations there is. All in all, we highly recommend their group. They are all very passionate with what they do, with their country and the future it deserves. We also commend the driving of Gia! We all felt safe with him amidst the crazy driving of some! We can't wait to be back!!!

Chinka was an excellent quality tour guide. Across three countries and of all the tour guides, she was the best. Knowledgable, kind, energe, clever, knows instinctively diplomacy etc.. she knew her history and was engaging while not being boring speaking like an out of touch robot. At only 23 years of age, she will be a force to reckon with for the present and the future. I cannot say this about anyone. I imagine she will advocates always for the goodness of humanity.

5 star experience with Nikolas! Loved that it’s my 3rd visit to Jvari Monastery and Old Capital yet I still learned new things about them. Nikolas was a joy to be with, so were the other tour members. Recommend this highly for first timers or repeat visitors. We also tried nice local snacks and “Smurf”! Thanks Nikolas! ❤️

Probably one of the best tours for a short trip (few hours) in/from Tbilisi. You get to see important historical Georgian places and taste some Georgian wine. Our tour guide was truly excellent and in overall the trip was filled with Georgian hospitality.

My husband and I booked a group day tour to explore the hidden gems of Mtskheta. It almost got cancelled but luckily our tour guide and driver agreed to take just the two of us. They took us to two beautiful UNESCO recognised heritage sites. We ended up taking a lot of pictures. They made us try some Georgian snacks and lots of homemade Georgian wine. On our way back, we all enjoyed some Georgian and Indian music. Highlight of our trip was the amicable nature and warmth of these people.
