Awesome trip! Fast, fun boat to Lana'i dive sites. Jack (captain) and Scott (divemaster) were both excellent and made the trip very enjoyable.

Best. dive company open on the west side of Maui in May 2024. Great service, guides, excellent equipment. Cathedrals was excellent.

Unfortunately we did t get to do the dive due to Lahaina. Hindsight we should of kept our reservations and listened to the locals and came anyways. The government said dont come… now we hear the locals say come….

Such an amazing time! Really unique dive! Our Dive Master was Brooke and she was excellent 🤙. We saw so much cool stuff, sharks, octopus, frog fish, black chandelier coral ect. Please support this business and send positive energy to the Lahaina community as they cope with the tragedy of the fire.

Dive Maui was such a great experience! We chose the Turtle/ Shark two tank the first day and had the best time with Mia! The second day we chose the Cathedral two tank and had an awesome time with Jeff! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the local wildlife and water conditions. The best was I could explain it is like diving with friends in some of the most unique formations and active wildlife. From beginner to advanced, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and great people to spend time with. Thank you for an amazing experience 🤙🏼

My teenage son and I did this two tank dive. The site was fantastic and we really enjoyed it. The staff was AMAZING! We had Abby as our guide and she was so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. I would recommend!

Cathedral is breathtaking. Crew members are very knowledgeable. My wife got sea sick and they took care of her really well.

This was an amazing experience! It was my first dive after getting my certification, and it was a great first dive! They dive masters were super awesome, especially Frannie. Rental gear was new and worked great. Saw dolphins, octopus, turtles, eels, and tons of fish. Totally worth it! 🤿🤙🏼

Great experience! Really friendly staff, captain and dive leaders. The whole trip was well organized, clean and safe. Frannie was an outstanding dive leader. She did an outstanding job of spotting fish I would never would've seen. She was really good at keeping everyone together and providing help when needed.

What a fun dive and excellent dive and boat crew. Did two dives out to the Lanai Cathedrals and saw plenty of marine life (dolphins, octopus, lobster, fish, coral, eel, white tip shark). Abbi was an awesome, energetic, professional, and fun instructor and dive lead! Steve did a great job navigating the boat through some swells…made the ride smooth and effortless! This is a phenomenal dive company that deserves your business! This is my third dive with them and will keep going back!

Brooke was energetic and passionate about diving. The dove was conducted so that you would be able to maximize bottom time if others had to end dive early due to being low on air and return to boat. Most other dives end short because someone consumed air too quickly.

We had an absolutely amazing time on board with the Dive Maui crew! Abby was our guide during the two dives and did an incredible job pointing out different wildlife and checking on all of the divers for air consumption and making sure we were all still okay! They even gave us souvenir water bottles when we got on the boat which was a very nice touch. 10/10 will dive with this small shop again!

Lanai cathedral dive is on my top three dives. Knowledgeable tour guides and great service. You are given all options when it comes to gear.

First, let me start by saying when I called to book about a month before our trip, Frannie was extremely helpful. She was patient with me on the phone while I debated what was best for our group. Arriving to the dive shop the morning of our Cathedral dive, our group was very excited. We met with a team member who got us all set up with our gear and then took us to the boat, where we met Steve our boat Captain and dive guides Brooke and Frannie. Once on board we were assigned a dive guide and Brooke was ours. She was AMAZING! She is a so-called Fish nerd and educated us on what were hoping to see. She did a hell of a good job finding most of the species, with the day ending with a Frog fish, the one fish my brother in law really wanted to find. She was incredibly patient and helpful when I ran into mask or weight/buoyancy issues. The first of the two dives, she led us around Wash Rock and the coral was beautiful. We saw a zebra moray eel and a giant lobster, along with some beautiful fish. The second dive we went to 2nd Cathedral. This dive exceeded every expectation I had. Diving through the lava tubes was exhilarating. One thing I really loved was that Brooke and Frannie worked together to give their groups the best experience. If some people were running low on air, and others weren’t, they worked together to hand us over to the other guide so we could stay down longer. I really liked that. Past dives I have been on, we were limited to the person with the lowest air availability. So this was a real standout moment for me. Thank you Brooke. You rocked and I’m sad the weather didn’t hold up for our shore dive with you but please know, we will be back! Thank you to Frannie and Capt Steve. Steve, you handled that boat ride back like a Frickin Champ. Crossing the water in those crosswinds and waves, made the end of the trip even better for me. hahaha it felt like a roller coaster! Dive Maui, you were exceptional and we can’t wait to dive with you again. Mahalo!

Diving alongside dive masters such as Brooke and Frannie gave me great insight into what diving should look like. They took safety seriously but also were relaxed and very knowledgable about all species we would see. Coming from Oregon this is definitely a complete 360 on what diving can be. Cathedral dive was incredible! We did the Washpoint and Cathedral 2. Good warmup with the first dive, for the amazing Cathedral to follow. We had Steve as captain of the Hoku, a large RIB type boat. Brooke was our dive guide and the other half of the boat had Franny. The whole team was great - emphasis on safety throughout the day. Brooke was super knowledgeable of dive sites and did an excellent job of describing what the dive route would be like before we entered the water, in addition to going over much of the sea life that we would encounter, on her iPad. She also went over some equipment information and dive procedures which was very helpful for those of us who are casual divers. Very professional briefings and really positive, friendly attitude throughout the day! Brooke was a fantastic guide, especially in the water. Pointed out some very unique sea-life, and again, cannot overstate how amazing the cathedral dive spot is. The torches come in handy to see the critters and fish that like to congregate where it is dark. The black reef was very interesting also! The ride back was a bit rough, but Steve and team did a good job keeping things safe and helping everyone along. Well done! Overall highly recommend Dive Maui for diving adventures.

Brooke was an excellent dive instructor! She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Made us feel very comfortable. Would recommend her to anyone. Plus she found a frog fish we really wanted to see.

My wife and I had a great time on our dives at the Cathedrals of Lanai. We were able to see several eels, unbelievable amounts of fish, crabs, lobster, etc. I can't wait to dive with the crew again. Franie was an awesome guide/instructor and Steven was a great captain that kept us safe and in control for the entire trip.

Great local family owned dive operations! I've been out with Capt. Steven along with Brooke, Jeff, Franny and a few others in the past, did the Lanai Cathedrals and the Molokai hammerhead dives this time around, A well run operation, they make it all fun and easy. Friendly, knowledgeable crew make all the difference for a dive operation, and they really hit the mark. They make everyone feel safe and well taken care of, best shop on Maui!
