We spent 3 days in the beautiful Chobe National Park with Kalahari Tours and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Starting from the seamless logistics (airport pick up and transfer) to our wonderful guide OP, who made the Safari fun, helped us to spot and observe animals; to the camp team MP and Jacob, who set up a comfortable camp in the middle of the park and prepared very tasty food for us every day (good veggie options, too) - everything was really great. Would highly recommend this tour, OP as a guide and the camping in the park!

We did the 2 night 3 day Chobe camping and it was amazing. Such good value for money and would recommend multiple day tour to maximise your chances of seeing everything. Our guide OP was great, very knowledgeable and personable. He made us feel totally safe in all situations. We saw so many animals including lions hunting and eating a kill, 2 leopards, elephants, giraffe, Zebra, buffalo and loads more! The camping was great too, really good food, a shower (a bag with water overhead behind a privacy screen), a toilet (a hole with a raised loo seat), the beds were a mat on the floor and were comfy. Camping really felt like an immersive experience so I would totally recommend, we even had elephants visit next to the camp at night! Such an epic time, and would definitely recommend OP as a guide.

My husband and I have done 2N3D tour with Kalahari Tours in March 2024 and I would highly recommend the experience and the agency! They picked us from Victoria falls, helped to cross the boarder (we had a return journey) and it all went very smoothly both time (no queues, no delays)! The experience in the camp was magical: we had Sam as a guide and he was amazing! He is able to track animals and helped us to see almost all the animals that you can find in Chobe park, incl. buffalos, hippos, giraffes, elephants, lions (we've seen 12+ lions, we were able to see them every day 3 days in a row, we've seen how lions hunt), warthogs, mongooses, impalas etc. and countless birds! We were very impressed by the number of animals and frequency of meeting those in Chobe park! We would highly recommend this camp and say thank you to Sam one more time, he was an amazing guide!!! If you camp, you get more time looking at animals when they are most active. There is no plumbing or electricity-but they had great gear, so we slept soundly. The cooks provided 3 delicious meals/ day. We did 1 and 1/2 day game drives and 1 morning and afternoon river safari. Our pickup in Livingstone and drop-off in Victoria Falls went smoothly. Best camping trip ever.

It was a great experience and highly recommendable. The guide, Mr T went out of his way to make the trip a memorable one. The travel companions were also very nice. While one cannot control or guarantee the wildlife sightings, all else, that the agency can control was perfectly executed: reception at border crossing, breakfast, cruise, quality of vehicle and tents as well as other equipment… quality and variety of food, The experience and attitude od staff made the trip a pleasure. Thank you. And - the wildlife sightings were extraordinary: over 400 elephants, 1000 buffalo, pride of 16 lions, impalas, baboons. A close encounter with a leopard!! etc etc THANK YOU!

This is an experience you will never forget. We experienced lions, lion cubs, lots of elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, hyena, antílopes, buffalo’s, colourful birds and many many more animals. The landscape is beautiful. Our guide Leo is very knowledgable and made us feel safe. He made the extra effort to make sure we had an experience of a lifetime. Don’t do only a day trip, stay overnight - the tents are simple but comfortable and the food is good. It is very special sitting with the group around the campfire sharing memories and reflecting about what you have experienced during the day. Highly recommended.

Very knowledgeable guides. Our guide Leo could spot a stick insect in a tree from a km away so you don't miss anything. If there is a lion within a mile he'll spot it and get you a great viewing spot. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic camping trip. Picked us up in Victoria Falls, got us through the border crossing easily where we met Sarefo, who was our guide for most of the trip. Kind, knowledgeable, professional, and is a true expect on the area. Can't praise him enough. We were also fortunate to have Kennedy and Leo for our boat trips, and they were amazing as well. The food was outstanding, the camp was clean and comfortable. We've done trips in Etosha and Kruger, but this one was the best.

My parents and I did the 2D/3N safari with Kalahari Tours in Chobe. What an amazing experience... Not only the sceneries were out of this world but the service provided by our guide Chika, and our cook/camp manager Giga and Amos was 10 out of 10. The food, the camp, the game drives, it was magical from beginning to end. We saw the most amazing leopard kill in front of us and so many other animals in the water, in the bush and in the air. The HQ in Kasane was very accommodating, we arrived later than expected and they prepared us a lunch box and re arranged our game drives, it was greatly appreciated. Honestly, such a great value for your money. I would 200% recommend. Thank you again!!

We had a breathtaking time in Chobe National Park, witnessed nature in all its purest glory and were treated to 3 days of care and hospitality from Chika and his crew. I highly recommend taking the time in the park and spending at least 2 days, as there is just so much to take in, and you don’t want to rush an African elephant. Kalahari Tours were professional, always on time, knowledgeable and kind. I cannot wait to return!

What a wonderful time we had on this tour, early this month. It far exceeded expectations even though I've visited other parts of Botswana before, but never Chobe. The game viewing was excellent, with highlights including many, many elephants, several lions, three leopards, buffalo, kudu, sable and even a honey badger. There was a leopard kill close to camp which added much excitement too. The accommodation was very comfortable, and the heavy rain one night posed no problem at all. The food was plentiful, varied and tasty. Very many thanks to Axe who played a major role in our enjoyment. Not only for his game tracking skills and knowledge, making even a cormorant eating a rather-too-large-fish quite enthralling, but also his humour and kindness, going out of his way to ensure our transfers and other arrangements outside camp went smoothly too. It was so good to bump into you again Axe on our brief return to Kasane several days later when we opted for lunch in the Kalahari Tours HQ cafe 'Coffee Buzz' as it too provided a lovely environment with exceptional food. Hopefully we can join you again sometime - we all definitely want to return.

We had an amazing time during this tour in Chobe National Park. We were a little worried with going at the very beginning of rainy season, but we were able to see plenty of wildlife and the rain held off until the very last day in the late afternoon when we were leaving. Lucky! I highly recommend spending several days in the park if you’re able to ensure that you see as much wildlife as possible. We did not see any elephants on our first day (included a boat tour and a game drive). However, we saw many elephants on our second and third days. The people that were only on a day trip with us for the first day were extremely disappointed. Our guide Chika was phenomenal and ensured we had everything that we needed from the pick up at the Botswana-Zimbabwe border until the drop off at the Botswana-Zambia border. He was an excellent tracker and thanks to him we saw many elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, warthogs, zebra, kudu, and even two leopards! If you’re comfortable with camping, this is definitely a high-value trip for what you’re paying. Plus with camping, you’re very close for game drives in the AM as you’re already in the park. In terms of logistics, our transfers were smooth in both directions (from Vic Falls and to Livingstone). Also you can leave luggage at the Kalahari HQ in Kasane town if needed.

We hat a fantastic Safari with our very experienced guide Leo who knew this National Park very well and even spotted 3 lepards for us. With his knowledge and good sense of humor he made us feel safe at all times. Communication with the office from abroad was easy and Kalahari Tours is a well organized and reliable company we can only recommend to book your Safari with.

This was such a wonderful experience. Leo was our guide and driver, he was excellent. Our cooks MP and Moffitt produced plenty of delicious food. We saw so many wonderful animals going about their business, it was a goid time of year to go. Camping in Chobe is the best way to be sure to maximise your game drives and opportunities to see animals. You get a tent and bedding which is quite comfortable, bush toilet, bush shower plus warm water each morning and evening for a freshen up. Take your own soap (and all toiletries) and a small towel. Sunscreen and insect repellant is handy too. You'll receive plenty of water and great food. Consider taking a few USD to tip the team, you'll want to by the end because they deserve it.

Everything about our experience was professionally managed from start to finish, including collection to/from Zambian border and return to Livingstone. Our guide Opi deserves a special mention: highly knowledgeable and used his network of friends in the park to always locate the best game to be seen. The camp site and team were excellent and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We also saw huge amount of game - more than in 2 other parks we visited in Zambia. Could not recommend highly enough.

Wow! What to say … Missing words to express our feelings - just do it ! You’ll never forget and you’ll not regret :) Our couple (50) managed perfectly two nights in tents and the milky way on the sky was the best premium :) :) :) Special thanks to our guide - PI, who was able to find all kind of wild beasts in the bush ;)

The food was delicious and lots of it! The guides were friendly and knowledgeable, especially OP who would point out the different animal tracks on the ground, and reference the bird book. The camp-site was well organised, decent mats and lots of blankets to sleep with. And we saw soooo many animals, probably hundreds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, impalas and lots of other creatures. And the cars they have are like an open air Jeep, with 9 seats, but really high off the ground so you get a great view regardless of where you sit. Definitely recommend everyone should do this tour!!! 😁👌
