Very nice helpful instructors and a fun activity to do in Puerto Escondido. Would recommend for anyone who has never surfed before and wants to try it

This experience was amazing! The instructors were knowledgeable & Ari was the best for a beginner like me! I’ve never surfed before and got up on every wave I tried. They both made the experience feel safe & incredibly fun at the same time! I would book more if I was staying longer. I highly recommend trying this out, especially if you’ve never surfed before and have always wanted to try!

Barrita our instructor was amazing! We had lots of fun. Took the time to show us the fundamentals and within 30 minutes of being in the water we both caught a couple waves. Despite drinking half the Pacific Ocean and being tossed around by the waves, Barrita was patient and always encouraging. Silva Surf made the whole experience effortless. Couldn’t recommend both Silva Surf and Barrita more.

This was my first time on the beach and I learned to surf. I am very happy. The instructor is very friendly.

Instructor was great and I did much better than expected - whether it was the instructors or a good choice of location for the surf. Would definitely recommend, great fun!

Absolutely amazing school with highly qualified instructors and friendly vibe. Boys know what they do , they love it and share it with you . If you wanna learn you will get a bunch of information there. And Punta Zicatela , where you surf with pelicans is so pretty.. no words . Don’t miss !

We surf in total four days with Silva Surf and we absolutely loved it! Very kind surf instructors who made sure everyone got waves and made sure they met you on your surfing level! All in all very nice vibes :)

My 1st lesson and really good one. A bit of theory and then into the waves! It was really nice, I have been guided by the team on how to surf and they helped me to catch the waves which was fun! Always got a feedback after every wave and this was very helpful! Strongly recommend! Thank you!

Silva Surf School was amazing. My friend and I had each surfed twice before and needed to work on basic technique. We were able to dramatically improve in just three days. The instructors at Silva were attentive and experienced. It was a "group" lesson but we had one-on-one instruction every time we caught a wave. Highly recommend.

I had an amazing time with Silva! Instructions were quick, but to the point and detailed. We practiced on land for a bit and then got lots of time in the water. The instructors were kind, friendly, helpful, and encouraging. Before I knew it, I was catching every wave. I had such a fun time for my first time surfing. I even wanted to book another lesson the next day!

Me and my partner had an amazing time! We did our first lesson thinking we wouldn’t come close to standing on the board, but within minutes we were both catching waves consistently. Thank you so much to Barrito and Ari, you’re the best! It also helps that Punta Zicatela is an amazing beach on it’s own, just nothing to fault here!

AMAZINGGGGG TIME!! The experience was outstanding. This was my first time surfing and my instructor Ari had me looking like a pro in to time. We started with learning the basics and he was very detailed on the movement and placement on the board. We got into the water and he reassured me i could Do it! I was surfing on no time! the lesson was greate, the gus were suer nice with us, but we werent able to capture the moment, they didnt have cameras, and didnt let us bring our things because no one could watch over them, so memory will just live in our minds..

Ari- was wonderfully patient and my girl had a great time. While out for her private lesson .Got several great waves and practice in a safe environment with good weather. Couldn't have had a better day on the water and my girl really progressed in her confidence with surfing. Really recommend Silva Surfin school .

Great experience! Ari was the perfect instructor for a first surf lesson - very friendly, helpful and super competent. Made me feel safe and with great instructions to have courage to keep trying and improving. I would definitely - without a doubt - recommend this surf lesson when in Puerto Escondido!
