I would highly recommend a mountain biking session with Paul. I was by myself after a work trip and wanted to get in some fun activities while in the area. Mountain biking was the perfect way to be immersed in the Arizona desert and see a lot of plants and wildlife. We even saw a hawk nested in one of the saguaros! Paul had everything you need (nice hardtail bike, gloves, helmet, water, backpack, snacks) He really customized the ride to my skill level as we had options on which paths to take. He also helped me on how to tackle the upcoming paths, like getting enough speed and keeping my pedals level to get over a few rocks. With the support, customization to skill level, knowledge of the area, and just fun flowing track, I highly recommend this adventure to everyone who has the opportunity!

We had a great experience with Paul! He was so friendly as well as knowledgeable and accommodating. He really knows how to read his audience. The scenery was beautiful, the bikes were in great shape. He provided backpacks, water, snacks, etc. Paul and the whole experience exceeded our expectations! We even booked a second trip with Paul for the next day.

Paul was awesome and, as I was solo, made me feel comfortable. He assessed my ability on the bike and then we set off through the desert. He checked in regularly to offer route options and made sure I was aware of any upcoming technical bits and always offered an easier or tougher option along with riding tips! Spectacular scenery and lots of cool desert flora. A great way to see the desert!

We took our grandsons (ages 15, 12) on this tour yesterday with Paul as our guide. Twenty four hours later they are still talking about riding in the desert! Paul was able to teach them a few techniques about mountain biking. They are ready to ride again and learn more! Thanks Paul for giving them great memories on their first ride in the desert !

Our tour was as fun as it was as informative. Neither my husband or I had ever been on a mountain bike, our guide carefully instructed us and then provide an exciting ride . I learned about cactus and the terrain. Highly recommend for any outdoor enthusiasts.

Amazing afternoon exploring the Sonoran dessert by bike. Paul was an excellent tour guide and a patient instructor for this novice mountain biker. Perfect for all skill levels. I learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the desert, not to mention Paul had a lot of great recommendations for other activities in the area. I look forward to coming back with my husband!

Paul was an absolutely amazing tour guide. He had all the equipment we needed ready when we got there and assessed our comfort level with riding immediately. He is extremely familiar with the trail and knew exactly where to take us depending on what we wanted. He took pictures for us and told us about the views and what we were looking at. We even went out for a beer with him after! Would 100% book this again. It was a blast.

My wife and I did a two hour private ride with Paul and it was fantastic. He tailored the ride to our ability level and was very patient to ensure we were taken care of. He stopped at numerous viewpoints to point out the geography, plant life and look for wildlife. He was also very sensitive to our nutrition and hydration needs and ensure we felt comfortable throughout. Finally, his recommendations for dinner, and other things to do in north Scottsdale and Cave Creek were much appreciated. Can’t recommend Paul’s rides enough.
