Our trip around Lake Como with Frank was amazing. We chose to customise our trip and Frank was very accomodating. We got picked up in Bellagio and then tour the Lake. Taking in all the sights on our way back to Como which included Varenna, Tremezzo, Villa Balbiano, Richard Branson’s Villa, George Cloney’s Villa, Nesso and more. He included a couple of last minute changes for the teenagers so they could swim. The boat was very equipped with everything you could need. Frank was very knowledgeable and his English was excellent. He was a great host and we would highly recommend Frank for a magical tour of Lake Como

Frank was an amazing host for this two hour tour. He knew all the places and interesting inside stories of lake Como, adapted the tour on the fly to our wishes, and it was great to get to know him a little bit as he is such a warm, fun and interesting guy to hang out with! We will definitely try to do his tours again!

Lovely location but for the cost the guide (Frank) should have offered a lot more in the way of a guided tour with more detail. The most annoying issue was that Frank spent a large potion of the tour taking bookings on his phone whilst driving the boat.

A wonderful tour of Lake Como. Very informative and fun. We stopped by a bridge where people were jumping in and the younger kids jumped out of the boat and did the bridge jump too.

La Dolve Vita was such a memorable experience. Frank is so knowledgeable about the Villas and the Como history. He remembered my Son on his 21st birthday with champagne. Would highly recommend La Dolce Vita as an essential excursion

Frederico was wonderful! He pointed out interesting villas & the history behind them. Stopped by George Clooney’s villas as well as Versace’s villa & a few other famous ones. We all had a fabulous time. Highly recommend!

Be careful!! He does not like Americans…. I was planning my first time trip here with only being able to stay 1 day. I asked a couple of questions not knowing how transportation works and reading you can get stuck in the islands because the ferries don’t run so late anyway it started with Cristina giving me attitude because I asked questions regarding transportation I realized it wouldn’t work with my schedule so I asked if I could cancel literally the day I booked it!!! my trip being 1 month away and the owner Frank completely blew up on me told me he “couldn’t stand people like me” and he would keep my deposit because he had to message me regarding the booking. I’m not sure what I did wrong to deserve him talking to me the way he did; and I wouldn’t want to be in a tiny boat in another country with a person like that really scary. So be careful if I could give it zero stars I would! It’s not worth having the risk of ruining your trip!

We had the best time! Frank and his boat were perfect for the 5 of us. He showed us all of the sites on the lake. He was fun with a great personality and full of good information. He also communicated clearly as to where to meet him and even sent pictures of the pier location. We highly recommend him and would absolutely book with him again.

This was an amazing tour and Frank was the perfect captain/guide to have on the boat. Firstly, Frank was at the decided location well ahead of time and upon boarding we could see the boat was very clean, well maintained, and in good shape to host even a larger group than ours (we were 5 people). Over the 2 hours the tour lasted we had the entire boat to ourselves and Frank delivered exactly what he promised. If you are deciding between the 1 hour and 2 hour tour - take the 2 hour tour. We saw a pretty decent chunk of the lake and were able to relax and stop at points along the way. We got amazing sweeping views of the lake. We visited some breathtaking spots that seem to be only accessible by boat. Also, we were able to jump off the boat and swim in the lake at two different locations. Frank also shared some historical facts about the famous villas. hotels, forts and properties on the lake. The tour is BYOB so make sure to bring any drinks you'd like to consume. Overall this tour is well worth the money. 5/5. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to get a true Lake Como experience.

The boat ride with Frank was absolutely amazing. From start to finish Frank was kind, knowledgeable and friendly. We traveled the lake and saw so many amazing spots. Frank made this experience one of a kind and we are so thankful for him. If you are in Lake Como, you need to book this experience.

Francesco was a great guide and we had so much fun on our tour with him! We were staying mid-lake and spent most of our time in that area, so we hadn't had a chance to explore Como and it's surrounding villages - it was a treat to get to see them from the water and learn more about some of the notable villas. I especially enjoyed Nesso and seeing the waterfall in person! Thanks for making our last day at Lake Como perfect, Francesco!

Our boat tour was a lot of fun and a great way to see Lake Como. Francisco was a really friendly, wonderful tour guide/captain. We didn’t think to bring drinks and snacks but that would have been nice if it is allowed. I highly recommend it!

We booked 2 hour tour on a boat La Dolce Vita with Francesco for 6 people around lake Como. What a nasty rude man! He started 15 min late and brought us back 15 min earlier. We asked for the safety wests, since last week another boat drowned, and several people were killed. He rudely replied, that he does not have any safety wests, and as a captain he knows best. When one of the passengers wanted to go inside of the cabin because he did not feel good on the top of the boat, Francesco refused to let him inside. Our private local tour guide had to jump between two groups of people to explain the same thing twice because Francesco would not let her to come closer to us, and we could not hear much. We had absolutely no safety because boat had no safety wests, no safety belts, and nothing to really hold on to. Sometimes Francesco was stepping away from the stealing wheel, even when the speed was very high. Please be careful booking with this person! This is the accident waiting to happen! Even our local your guide got in to the argument with this man and told us that she had never seen such a nasty captain on Lake Como!
