Shout out to David for a great tour with lots of info that was adjusted to our interests (architecture/culture). With two adolescents in tow, we visited all the main downtown sites from various viewpoints, as well as a few a neighbourhoods. Accessible for anyone who knows how to ride a bike. A bike was a great way to get the lay of the land and whet one's appetite to visit the same sites on the inside. Maria was really prompt to respond to my questions by email and Sam prepared our very comfortable bikes quickly and patiently. I found myself thinking who else in my family would enjoy this tour and should we come back for a fat bike tour in winter. Great job. I highly recommend it. David also took photos of us along the way for great souvenirs!!

If you like biking, seeing the city and hear some nice facts this is a great tour. Unfortunately my original tour didn't have enough people, but Maria definitely tried (and succeeded) to get me on another tour that same day. Sparky was a great tour guide and knew all about the city and the sights. She also made sure nobody got lost. All in all I would recommend going on this tour.

From start to finish an A* experience. Bikes and helmets patiently fitted, a panier provided for my stuff. It was easy riding (e bikes were also available) with stops for explanations from our a using Dutch guide. A brilliant way to see the city.

Great time with Escape Bicycle Tours! I would highly recommend this tour to anybody who wants to get a very nice ride in around the core of Ottawa. So informative and great things to see. Hans was awesome as a tour guide, and was able to enlighten us of many details at the many stops we made.

I highly recommend Escape Bicycle Tours. It was my first time taking a bike tour around the city, and I quite liked it. It was fun and interesting. We visited many city attractions and famous places on comfortable bikes and at comfortable speed. Our guide, Hans, told us many interesting and fun facts about the city, and his gentle sense of humor and attention to every excursion member made my bike tour experience even greater. I've already told my friends that they definitely need to do the same when they are in the city.

Sparky was an excellent tour guide. It’s a great overview of the area on dedicated bike paths. We enjoyed every minute of it.

Hans provided an excellent two-hour tour that took us to corners of Ottawa we never would have found on our own. Great stories and information and operated very safely. Highly recommend!

Sparky was our tour guide and she was fabulous. The trip was perfect. We roamed around Ottawa and it is a great city to explore. It was so much better than the hop on and off bus. You really connected with the city and its sites.

My wife, daughter and I rented e-bikes and signed up for a 2 hour tour and then canal boat tour. We could not stop talking about how great it was ! Of course having great weather, perfect temperature, and an awesome guide ( Sparky) made it all possible. The meeting place at the shop on Spark Street was perfect, sign in staff were very kind and polite. Then Sparky gave us the safety instruction and off we went. It was certainly not hard with the E-bikes, very easy to learn and it was not difficult at all. Great tour and showed us some spots with had not seen before. We highly recommend this company and this tour. Maria is very kind and Sparky certainly adds the Spark to the tour. The canal boat ride was an excellent addition. We got there just in time so the seats we had did not provide the greatest view, but the commentary was fantastic from the guide. Very relaxing tour.

The bike tour was fun, informative and safe and just at the perfect pace. The start on Sparks St was easy, returning to he some place. This bike trip is highly recommended!

We took this tour last week and it was excellent. Mike was a great guide and we biked to many locations. We were fortunate that the weather was perfect for biking. The bikes were in excellent condition.

We choose this tour because it was 2 hours, and gave us the rest of the day for other tourist options. Mike our tour guide was excellent, and very safe. He provided a good overview of Ottawa, as well as some historic facts. Two hours is not enough to see everything, but he really hit the key places. Going over the bridge to Quebec was very helpful, and provided another perspective of the metro area. We would recommend this tour. The bikes were excellent too.

Excellent tour with Richard and Fabia, "Bike and Bites." It was alot of fun great stops, great food, and great guides. Bikes were nice and the ride was very doable. Highly recommend the tour to anyone wanting to see a bit of Ottawa you might not otherwise and the added bonus of a bit of exercise and great company. It was a bit pricey with just the two of us on the tour, but we knew that going in and found it to be worth it.

We had a great morning exploring Ottawa with our guide Sparky. It is definitely the best way to see Ottawa....you see sooo much in 2 hours!

A very good way to get a first impression of Ottawa, seeing the main sights and getting basic background information. The tour is done in leisurely pace with several stopps where Hans, our guide, gave us lots of information and fun stuff. Much better than sitting in a tour bus.

Excellent 2.5 hr tour- saw so many lovely sites, and Hans did a great job with our group of five. Possibly the easiest meeting point I’ve ever experienced- thank you! Maria was so professional to work with- always responding quickly. Highly recommend this tour and company!
