This was such an amazing experience! The guides made us feel very comfortable on the horses and the views were incredible. We will be bringing friends and family back here when they come to visit!

BAIR farm is beautiful property with breath taking Mountain View’s. The horse ride was easy Wether an experienced rider or a beginner.

Okay we are starting right from the drive up towards the ranch. Just breathe taking. Take it in go slow. Once you get up the hill and park its another amazing view and you are immediately greeted by everyone. Friendly people and friendly horses. Paul and Sunshine were our guides and they were absolutely amazing and made the ride into the mountains a goodtime. They love their jobs and they are so caring towards the horses. I highly suggest this place for the horseback riding. The views are 100/10 just breathe taking. They offer skeet shooting. I saw where they do it and just how these amazing people were ill be back another time to try the skeet shooting and ATVing. Absolutely 100% recommend choosing this establishment for a good Colorado outdoor adventure. Thank you Paul and Sunshine for today. A life time memory made.

After signing up, I received instructions telling me that the pick up and drop off place was in the Bair Ranch parking lot. My ride was to start at 10:15 and still no sign of anyone. At 10:20 I walked to an obvious driveway for the ranch, where they provide a phone number, and gave them a call. It turns out they were not going to be picking me up, I had to get a code from them, and that would open the gate and then drive to the stables. When I got there, everyone was saddled up with helmets on waiting for me. It made me feel kind of bad because I know how it is when you’re ready to start a journey. No phone number was provided in my confirmation, so here is the number to the ranch-970-945-9773, in case you have questions before getting to the ranch. I’m not reducing my review because of this, and I don’t consider trip advisor guilty either, because they probably just posted what was giving them. I will be contacting trip to let them know of the extended directions. OK now for the ride. I thought it was pretty awesome – I was on a horse that I felt very comfortable with and the horses there were of different temperaments so for those of you who want a horse with some spark, it seems that they can provide that as well. There were a couple of horses there that gave their riders exactly what they were looking for. As one girl, put it, “this horse is just like me, can’t sit still, and wants to be the leader! “The guides were experienced and consistently looked at our equipment to make sure it was firm. The views were the best that I had ever seen on the trail ride. You didn’t have to wait for half the ride to get to the views, these views were there the minute I parked in the lot by the road stables. I highly recommend it and September was a good month for taking the ride. You are in the sun quite a bit, so if you don’t like the heat, keep that in mind and go at a time that will fit you. Have fun!

Very laid-back atmosphere. Allison was great. Definitely for novice riders. Up and down the mountain in single file. Assistant Paul was a nice guy, but used lots of foul language and did some antics that weren’t smart around new riders.

What a great adventure in the canyon. The staff were patient and kind, helping everyone on their way. The horses were well looked after and were perfect for any experience. The weather was the only thing that let us down and we were not prepared for the heavy rain. Our guide made sure we all left the site safely and when the I 70 was closed due to mudslides he gave great advice as to where to eat and remain safe until the road re-opened. Thanks for a great time.

Super fun! I went on a 2 hour horseback ride and loved it. Our guide April was personable, informative, and great. Was nervous at first but all staff made it inviting and fun. Definitely recommend it’s a must if you are in the area.

Aaron and Ashley we’re very knowledgeable and so much fun. My sister and I had the best time. Our riding adventure was more then we expected. We highly recommend Glenwood adventures for beginners and more experience riders. Thank you again

Staff and guides were very informative, attentive, and friendly. Felt safe the entire time and truly had so much fun. Definitely will be returning to the ranch for their other activities they offer!

We had a wonderful trail ride. The guides were helpful and friendly. We are inexperienced riders, but we felt comfortable and confident with our horses after a short time. We saw beautiful scenery and wildflowers and a herd of elk with lots of young calves. The guides helped us keep a safe distance while still being able to see them. My kids have said they miss the horses they rode and we all made memories to last for a lifetime.

A very relaxing way to see the beauty of the area. My guide, Taylor, was very knowledgeable and my horse, Kolona, was easy to ride. I would recommend this tour.

We absolutely loved this adventure! The ranch was absolutely amazing. What an gorgeous place! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Our guide, Taylor, was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and patient with all of us, as we got comfortable on horses. She took us up high on the mountain where we saw the most incredible views! I cannot recommend this excursion enough. You will never forget it!
