100% recommend . Excellent Correspondence with Mr Tinh from the start of the booking with clear instructions given and perfect pick up arrangements . Our tour guide Ms Mo couldn’t have been nicer helping us each step of the way . We were offered many different trekking options and along the way had beautiful views and explanations of rice growing , indigo dying etc… together with a look into differing village cultures . Our home stay hosts made us feel welcome and cooked the best spring rolls we’ve tasted so far . At the home stay we met up with our trekkers which made for an enjoyable, social evening . Not the most comfortable of nights ( quite hot , beds hard) and the cockerels made sure we didn’t oversleep ! However it made for an authentic experience . Would advise proper walking shoes with grips although Ms Mo was able to get about in her smooth soles trainees like a mountain goat . At the end of the tour we were very kindly offered hot showers and transport to the bus station for our overnight sleeper by Mr Tinh . We did the 2 day / 1 night option due to one restraints but it would have been lovely to do more . 100% recommend and although just at the start of our trip, sure this will remain a highlight . The trip was amazing! We had a great tourguide, which was Mao! The owner was very helpful and responds very quickly on whatsapp. Me and my friend could even stay after the trekkingtour to get a shower and leave our backpacks at their office. Thank you for the wonderfull trip!

We had an amazing two day trek through the mountains around Sa Pa with our tour guide Mao. We loved all the options she gave us, the stories she told us and the care she had for us. After the trek they let us take a refreshing shower at the ‘office’ and they gave us a free ride to the busstation. We felt really lucky with all the help and are really happy we did the trekking tour with this company.

We loved the tour & having Mo as our local guide. She was able tell us a lot about the traditions of the different tribes we met and how they dressed and lived. The trek was great as we also got lots of information about the village life, traditions and also about the farming techniques for rice, vegetables and orchids. She ensured we had opportunities to take photos and stops for drinks and lunch (amazing food prepared by the local tribes). Mo is very caring and passionate about her community which enriched our tour. We highly recommend the tour company.

The trekking tour in Sapa was one of our greatest experiences in Vietnam. The whole tour was great, the views, the hike, the homestay and the food. But the greatest thing of all, which made our tour so great, was Mu, our guide. She was so friendly, always took care of us, let us choose the pace and the treks and we had great conversations with her! Thank you Mu, for the tour, it was so great! We would recommend everyone to do the tour, we only saw one other pair of tourists and really felt like we could experience the non-touristy and local sides of Sapa. And if you do the tour I would recommend you to go with Mu 😍

1. fantastic and knowledgeable guide! Ms Mu gave us the options of different levels of trekking. the treks are awesome and filled with sceneries. She is also very helpful and hold my hands through some of the difficult treks. 2. home stay is quite eye opening. really local and authentic. basic amenities are there. we're fortunate to have warm showers as we're the first group to arrive. the subsequent groups did not have warm showers as the hot water ran out. my only complaint is that there's only bed in the room with no other furniture. we don't have a place to put our stuff like phones and clothes. not even a wall hook to hang our towels. 3. the organizer is very helpful and offer us a room to rest and shower when we arrive very early at Sapa.

This was such a great trip for hiking around Sapa and getting to know the locals. Mu was a kind and friendly host who made sure my trip was so enjoyable. The views were incredible and if you get the chance to take the more difficult route do it, walking through the rice fields, up and down mountains and through streams was amazing. The homestay was super comfortable and the vegetarian food was tasty.

Afi, the manager, was really helpful in organising transfers from and to Sapa. When booking you should know that's a private tour, you will not be with another group. Thankfully we met another couple of people with who I was glad to share the homestay experience. Mu, the guide, was good fun and good help for translating when communicating with the ethnic population. Except for the couple we didn't met any other tourists so it kept its promises. Thanks for the experience !

We had such an amazing trek with our guide Lan. She was so helpful as we walked and taught us so much about local culture. The view was so beautiful and so secluded, and all of the food provided as part of the tour was so delicious. The homestay was also excellent - we loved everything about this tour and would recommend it to everyone!

Had the best experience! We did the 3 day/2 night Sapa trek. It was challenging, but so worth it. The views were amazing, the villages so interesting, and the homestays were so welcoming. Mr Tinh managed everything from beginning to end, was always keeping in touch to ensure we were ok. It was our guide, Mu, who made it all so special. She was so knowledgeable, friendly and fun. She also made the descents look very easy! The welcome at the homestays were amazing, the food plentiful, and the happy water flowed! Would highly recommend

The trek was great! Food was great, the guide was amazing and such a great way to see the area. The trek was well organised and the team running it were very organised and hospitable.

The private tour with our guide was great! We explored some rice fields and hiked up a little mountain to enjoy the view. We stayed at a lovely homestay in a little village. The family was really nice and the food was very delicious! On the next day we visited the love waterfall, silver waterfall and the heaven's gate. We didn't even see other tourists. Mr. Tinh and his family were really friendly. We were allowed to leave our luggage at their house for the tour. After our tour we took a shower at their house and he even got us to the bus station!

Booking the 2D1N trekking + homestay tour with Sapa Original Trek was easily the best experience we’ve had in Vietnam. I was travelling with my Dad who’s a senior citizen, and this tour company have a huge variety of tour routes that accomodate all ages. The one we chose in the end was ST8, which was considered to be one of the more popular routes but also manageable. Don’t get me wrong, the route was challenging and difficult due to the monsoon in June, but our tour guide, Sinh, and the homestay family were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly throughout this trip. Highly highly recommend this to anyone who’s going to Sapa to trek! We will definitely come back again!

Great experience, Mr Tinh (the organiser) helped plan everything right from the bus pickup at Hanoi. He was always contactable before and after we arrived in Vietnam. Our trek guide SINH, was also very experienced and took us through the lesser known routes which has great views. We were impressed with his knowledge on the region and his English. He helped us navigate some tricky paths and was great company overall.

The experience was amazing! I travel with 3 kids and enjoy every minute of it! Our guide La was extremely kind specially with my 8 y old. She also help us engage and understand the local costumes . Our hostess at the home stay as well as her family where very welcoming ! They gave us a cooking class on spring rolls and shared their great food with us . The rooms and toilets were very clean. The nature and the trails were so beautiful, they took our breath away, so much that my 8, 14 and 16 years old kids did not even complain about the many hours of walking!! I highly recommend the experience !!

The tour was very well organized. We we picked up at the bus station, given a warm shower then had a very good breakfast. Due to Corona virus we ended up having a tour guide just for ourselves. He was excellent. Very polite, respectful, friendly and showed a good knowledge of local people, traditions and the area. I would strongly recommend Sapa Original Trek.

This was the best part of our trip to Vietnam so far. Everyone we interacted with during our stay was great. Do not leave Vietnam without visiting Sapa off the beaten track. Very much recommended ! Thank you Mr Minh for a great experience
